  We spent 3 nights over Christmas at this wonderful beach house and would recommend staying there. It was very clean and comfortable, with a lot of comfortable seating, comfortable bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances and everything you need for meal preparation. The house has a lovely view of the trees, hills, and wildlife. The beach is an easy ten minute walk away through the "village," which is the safest way to walk (no traffic at all). It's also a lovely little area to wander through. We have rented homes in various parts of the U. S. and in Europe and this is one of our favorites. We also own a vacation rental of our own and were as comfortable here as we are in our own home in the desert. It was comfortable and cozy without being at all small or crowded. It's also light and open. We had our 2 good-sized dogs with us, and it was easy to walk them in the neighborhood. Thanks again, Mary! Looking forward to next time!

  We very much enjoyed our weekend stay at Mary's house in Dillon Beach. The house is even nicer and more comfortable than it seems from the photos. The main living space upstairs is open, airy, and bright. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, and we were pleased to find a grill (I don't think it's listed on the ad or shown in the photos). The house was cold when we arrived but quickly got nice and toasty once we turned on the heat. There's no ocean view, but you can hear the waves and it's just a few minute walk to the beach. And the stars are amazing at night! The house isn't baby-proofed, but we had no issues with our young toddler son. He loved climbing up and scooting down the carpeted stairs. And our dog was happy too -- especially at the beach!

  After a beautiful late-afternoon drive from Napa, my husband and I were welcomed by a pair of deer in the yard and a spectacular sunset on our short walk down to the beach. The property was even better than the pictures had suggested; it was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped throughout. We made good use of the well-supplied, spacious kitchen and adjacent family room, and enjoyed the ocean breeze on the deck. One of my favorite touches? The heat lamp in the bathroom… perfect on cool Northern California mornings. We have very fond memories of our stay and if we’re ever back in this beautiful coastal village, we’ll look for this home again.

  This house is really wonderful: fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, short walk to the beach. With the open living/dining room set up, we could entertain our guests while we prepared our meals. The smell and sounds of the ocean were an added bonus. Waking up to the sounds of the ocean, seagulls and other birds and watching a family of deer wander around on the property were amazing! - and added to the overall ambience of this house. I highly recommend this place for a weekend get away or a longer visit. Steven

  I very much enjoyed my stay at this beach house and I would recommend staying there. It was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home. The view is spectacular and wildlife sometimes walks through the yard. We were visited by wild turkeys, deer, an owl that was in a nearby tree and flyovers by pairs of hawks. The beach is an easy five minute walk away. The living room, dining room and kitchen are open and bright. I hope to visit there again this summer.
