I, along with two other retired AF friends, spent a long weekend at this property and were ABSOLUTELY impressed with it and all the amenities. Considering our group consisted of both sexes, we were especially pleased with the fact that each of us had our own private areas. I honestly cannot say enough about the beauty of the home or how very nice it was to interact with the Owner and her agent at "Real Escape Properties." They were WONDERFUL in every possible way! Prior to our trip, the Owner email me a very comprehensive list of restaurants and possible activities that we might be interested in as a group. The recommendation to take the "Trolley Tour" (a $23.00, 90 minute exercise) was an especially good recommendation as it really gave us a "feel" for where we would like to go for a more in-depth visit, on our own. Keep in mind that the tour only happens once a day and departs at 11;00 A.M. each day. Don't worry about restaurants as there are MANY great ones available offering all types of cuisine to suit any diet. Again, we found the Townhouse Owner's recommendations to be "on the money." I will, without hesitation, stay at this property again and STRONGLY recommend it without any reservations..Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family stayed rented this town home for the Christmas holiday. It was beautfully decorated, clean and close to everything. The owner was a pleasure to detail with. We will be back...hopefully soon! Many thanks...Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

A convenient location in superb condition. Offers all the comforts of home with none of the bothers. In walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the Village. Very nicely furnished with all of the amenities. One of the finest properties we've ever discovered through VRBO. Recommend highly to discriminating vacationers who are looking for the best in accommodations.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Convenient location on island. Spacious condo with nice second level for smaller childen or teenagers to play. Very nice decor with plenty of space. Very clean and well kept. Condo is accurately described and photographed. Garage is great for hot summer months to keep car cooler. We had a great stay and will return, very highly recommended.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Spacious condo, nicely equipped and tastefully decorated. Convenient to beach, shopping and restaurants and just a short drive to a number of golf courses. We will definitely be back again and again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Coast guard east beach public access View on map
This is the "best" beach on the island & is .09 mile from our townhousse. There is a huge parking lot with hoses available to clean off. The Maritime Museum is located in the historic Coast Guard Station. Animals are allowed on beach anytime Labor Day- Memorial Day, other wise before 9 am & after 5 pm.during the summer months.

This charming village is only .09 mile from the townhouse. It features a big pier for walking or fishing & many unique restaurants & shops. The St.Simona historic lighthouse & Museuem, Neptune Park with it's oceanside pool, miniature golf course, playground & oak shaded picnic area. The public library & theatre are also in this delightful area along with a charming brick pthway along the ocean. The sightseeing trolley departs daily tour of the island.

Christ Church, Frederica View on map
This is the 3rd oldest Episcopal church in the nation & wnd oldest in Ga. The first one was built in 1820, but destroyed during Civil War & rebuilt in 1886 by Anson Phelps Dodge who was the subject of the famous Beloved Invader trilogy novels written by St. Simons resident Eugenia Price.
