My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Gary was very helpful and the house was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately our kids' schools let out too early in March for Spring Break and the weather was a bit cooler than expected. But would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the water and all the beauty that Gulf Shores has to offer. We really had a great time and made lots of wonderful memories. Thanks Gary!

Me and my husband and another couple stayed in this beautiful house, plenty of room and very clean. I will be back to this wonderful house, have stayed in several in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area, and by far one of the best, Gary was so easy to deal with and answered any questions we had, thank you for letting us stay in your house, oh and our little dog (Harley) got alot of exercise on the stairs :) We stayed a week, wish we could have stayed longer

My family and I enjoyed staying at the Purple Passion. The bedrooms were roomy enough in case you wanted to escape everyone. It is in the perfect location. You have a pool,the lagoon in the back, and the beach across the street (not a long walk at all). We would definitely stay here again. Gary is also great to work with. We loved it.

Perfect vacation!

We had a fantastic time at the purple house on the lagoon. The home was described perfectly in the listing. The photos on the listing are very accurate. The amenities were great. The property was maintained extremely well. Gary was awesome to work with, and answered all my questions and concerns very promptly. It was really great that he allows well behaved dogs at the property. Our GSD kept the property well guarded! It was awesome having a code to enter the house and not have to worry about keeping track of more than you need to when going to the beach. I have already recommended the property to friends and family. Our family had a great time at the lagoon beach and sandbar. Was a 45 minute drive to the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, FL, which is free, extremely kid-friendly, and so cool! No one wanted to leave the purple house to go home! We are definitely coming back next year!

Awesome Getaway

The house was amazing and so was the location. Bathrooms in every room was an excellent surprise! Waking up every morning to the view I'd the bay is priceless. Gary is awesome to work with and we will for sure be back next year! Just make sure to bring some paper towels and trashbags and you will be set for your trip. Any cooking supply you need is there! I look forward to staying there again.

The property was wonderful. Loved the master suite. My escape from it all. I would use it again when I return. Gary was great to work out the details for us. Feel like I stayed in his home as a friend. Loved it. We love the oyster house too

We absolutely loved staying at the Purple Passion house. It was by far the best rental we have had at Gulf Shores. We already have it booked for Spring Break next year! Gary, the owner was awesome to work with. He was very kind and generous. I will reccomend this property to everyone.

Our spring break trip was amazing. The home was cozy and close to the beach. It is spacious and clean. The pool was fabulous and we could hardly get the kids out of it to go to the beach. We loved the location being near the Hangout, Lulu's, and an amazing multi level wooden go cart track. Gary was quick to respond with any questions and everything was done as promised. Will definetly want to rent from him again.

Beautful Lagoon Home. Close to everything

My family of 5 and my pet loved this home. It was perfect for all of our needs.. We fished and caught flounder in the lagoon,, caught crabs at the pass as well as laid on the beach across the street and it is so close to everything. Each girl had their own bathroom as well as television and the kitchen was stocked with all appliances and dishes for cooking. Very, very clean with comfortable and classy furnishings. Owner was very pleasant to rent from

We cuoldn't have asked for a better vacation home. Great amenities and personal touches. Location was fabulous, convinient to everything but just far enough away to forget about everything. We will be back.

Perfect family getaway!

This house is the perfect place for a family to go to the beach. Everyone has their room with a bath and the main living area is just the right size. The men enjoyed the fishing pier that is in the back and the rest went to the beach across the street and the pool that is just steps away. Having a code for the lock is just perfect because you don't have to go anywhere for the key. We will definitely stay here again.

Thomas the Train and Gulf Shores, Too!

My family of 11 (8 adults and 3 children, ages 5, 4, and almost 3) were lucky enough to stay here the weekend of May 13, 2011 when we traveled to Alabama to ride Thomas the Train at West Wales. The home was gorgeous and OH SO CLEAN! We kept the washer/dryer busy going from the pool to the lagoon to the beach. Beds were super-comfy; plenty of room for all of us to enjoy one another or just relax alone. We watched some beautiful sunsets from the back deck and the dock. Our three little boys so enjoyed the pool and going up and down the stairs in the house. Gary, we thank you for a wonderful retreat from our everyday routine. We will certainly try to work with you the next time we come.

My family stayed here for Spring break, 5 nights. There were two adults, two teenagers and one child. This home is beautifully decorated and was very clean. There was plenty of space and privacy. Beds were comfortable and each bedroom has its own TV. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The kitchen had everything I needed. My 9 year old son, loved the pool, which was just steps away, we had the pool to oursevles many times. This little community was very nice and quiet. You could walk across Beach Blvd, and be at the beach in 5 minutes. We went to the beach everyday, went to the movies, shopping at the Wharf in Orange Beach, and the Tanger in Foley. Took our son to the Zoo, he really enjoyed it. Also, went to play mini. golf at Waterville ($3 per person, which we thought was a great deal). Ate at the Shrimp Basket (all you can eat on Sun. and Wed) We had a wonderful, relaxing trip. The owner, Gary, was great to deal with. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great house. It has lots of privacy for 3 couples or two couples and children. Each of the 3 bedrooms had their own bath and two of the bedrooms had balconies. It was very well equipped with anything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We plan on renting again and the owner is very accomodating and makes you feel right at ease. JH

We had a wonderful spring break staying at the Purple Passion! We had 2 families (10 people) and never felt we were in each others way! Kitchen was well-stocked. The whole house was wonderful - inside and out! Short walking distance to the beach. Far enough from the college partiers! Nice pier on the lagoon to watch the sunsets! Close to the tourist stuff (parasailing and deep sea fishing and shopping)! Only wish we could've stayed longer!

We enjoyed your house very much a nice quiet community. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. The pictures do not due the house justice, the beds are great. The house is equipped with everything you need. We did not want to leave, hope to come back soon. Gary it was a pleasure working with you. Thank you very much for our first snowbird vacation.

We had a great time staying in your home away from home. It was a wonderful trip the weather could not have been better. The house is just a short walk to the beach and what a cozy little community. We were there for Fall Break/Shrimp Festival and our 3A football team being invited to play Gulf Shores a 5A team.The layout of the house was great.....bathrooms were good size and porches on all floors. We did not want to leave.....I would recommend staying here again. And Gary the owner was GREAT to deal with. Thanks Again!!!!!
