Misiones Del Cabo Beach Resort is nestled into the natural cliffs overlooking the Sea of Cortez and El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, featuring convenient location, dramatic views, and a very private swimming beach. Overlooking the azure blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, this luxury condominium resort is just three miles from downtown Cabo San Lucas - Baja California Sur's exciting commercial and entertainment center. Misiones del Cabo Beach Resort sits like a fortress on a cliff looking out to the tip of the Baja. Built in 1992 with 120 suites, the property consists of six, 3- or 4-story buildings and one, 6-story building (with 2 elevators) surrounded by lush desert landscaping, indigenous to the precious Baja eco-system. The entrance to the resort is protected by a guarded gate with 24 hour security.
The Misiones Del Cabo Beach Resort offers two beaches – The small Cabo Bello Beach in a secluded cove for swimming & snorkeling (Puffer Fish, Hermit Crabs, Rays, etc) and The Monuments Beach for surfers with some beautiful tide pools between the two beaches. A two or three minute walk through the resort takes you down to the secluded Cabo Bello Beach. The Cabo Bello Beach has nine Palapas (umbrella type structures made of palm fronds and wood) for shade. You won’t be bothered by peddlers because there isn’t any public access to Cabo Bello Beach. There are two lighted tennis courts and a pool with Swim-up Palapa Bar facing east .
There are numerous fine restaurants in the Los Cabos area. Adjacent to the resort is the gourmet Italian restaurant “The Sunset Da Mona Lisa” with gorgeous views of EL Arco. Another nearby restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner is The Sirena del Mar Restaurant which has some great views of the Sea of Cortez. This restaurant is located at the Welk Resort Sirena del Mar which is a short walk down Cabo Bello Beach and up the spiral cement staircase. You will also find a lovely restaurant with views of the Sea of Cortez called Puerta Vieja Restaurant at the entrance to the resort off Highway 1. This restaurant offers excellent values in fine Mexican dining for either lunch or dinner.
From the moment you arrive, you'll experience warm hospitality and courteous attentive service from our onsite manager “Ed”. The Infinity Pool Bar serves some tasty snacks and meals Wednesday through Monday from 10:00 A.M. to 5 P.M., along with a variety of drinks from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. There is also a Mexican Dinner night on Wednesday and a Seafood Dinner Night on Friday. You can make tour arrangements with the Concierge Staff at the front desk for deep sea fishing, sailing, scuba diving, zip lining, four-wheel drive ATV, tee times at 6 nearby golf courses and many other activities.
4201 Misiones is a recently Remodeled Two Bedroom Two Bath second story Corner Condominium located in building four of the resort and can sleep six. The interior has 1250 square feet of living space with an additional 250 Sq. feet of outdoor terrace space. The Master Suite and Guest Suite both have King Size Beds and Individual Ceiling Fans. Each suite has its own beautifully tiled bathroom with shower. There is also a full sofa sleeper in the living room.
For your outdoor entertainment the condo comes with Two Large Terraces with a total of six lounge chairs and two tables, a New Stainless Steel Gas BBQ and a New Oversized Caribbean Hammock on which to take a relaxing nap and see the waves breaking against the shore. Other amenities include five beach chairs, two beach umbrellas, and two ice chests for your use at the beach. In addition there are two sets of adult Snorkeling Gear that is provided so you can observe the tropical fish.
The condo offers central air conditioning with a large gorgeous ceiling fan in the living room; there is a fully equipped kitchen with ultraviolet filtered water for the sink and refrigerator which also has filtered water and ice maker. The kitchen comes equipped with new pots and pans, new coffee maker, toaster, and blender for your convenience. The unit has a new washer and dryer, three flat screen televisions with internet tv and Sirrius Satelite Radio, a DVD/CD player and a stereo, Last a DSL line with broadband WI-FI and local telephone service has been installed.
There is also free Wi-Fi located at the Palapa Pool Bar. The terraces offer excellent views to the Sea of Cortez, Tennis Courts, the Palapa Pool Bar, pool and surrounding garden area. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover Card for your convenience.

We just returned from a week Feb 17-24 at this condo. We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys, so we love having space and the homey atmosphere of a condo rather than a cramped hotel room when we travel. John has done a fabulous job of decorating the condo in mexican style and stocking it with things making it feel like a home with perks! It was great having the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 2 decks are very enjoyable as the morning sun shines on them before it gets too hot for enjoying morning coffee or meals at - both decks have a wonderful view of the pool area and the ocean! John also has a large hammock that easily mounts to hooks on the walls of the one deck. We loved having all the perks of a full kitchen & large new BBQ so we could prepare snacks and meals & drinks as much as we felt like ... there's a cooler, ice packs, insulated cups for the pool area, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas ... everything you can think of that you might need! We were able to get wifi in the condo as well, just ask the pool bartender for the code - so the boys were happy they could use their iPods - and we were able to use our laptop on the deck to view e-mails or look up on the net the next adventure we wanted to take around Cabo! The condo was very quiet, the beach and pool were never busy. Snorkelling is great right at the beach! The ocean water is cool so we did enjoy the pool more for swimming. You can order food at the pool from 10-2 and it is very good and affordable. There is also an infinity pool on the west side with an incredible view of the arch - this pool's water is quite a bit cooler in temp. but has great sun till about 6pm. We liked that we could get a few things at the market by the front desk - pop, sugar, etc. But there is a Costco and Walmart within a 10 min drive where you can stock up on food. The front desk staff are awesome for any questions you have or booking adventures for you so you do not have to deal with the pushy sellers on the beach or in the marina! We went jet skiing & parasailing & did lots of snorkelling - our favorite at Santa Maria Bay - a 5 min drive from Misiones. We ate at many wonderful restaurants. It is nice that you can choose to be in your quiet resort or put yourself right into the action at Medano Beach & the marina area. We loved our trip to Cabo and will return someday! Thanks to John for sharing his condo with us - we highly recommend it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

About the owner: My wife Jennifer and I live in Los Angeles California. Jennifer is an RN working at UCLA Medical Center and I am a special education teacher in Venice, California. We both like bicycling along the beach bike paths on Santa Monica Bay. I like to scuba dive in the Channel Islands with my son but as I have gotten older I prefer the warmer waters of the Sea of Cortez.

My wife and I grew up in Oklahoma and Arizona respectively, but we LOVE the ocean. Ever since we first vacationed in Cabo San Lucas we've been going back to vacation as often as we can. As our family has grown, we have found Cabo San Lucas to be the perfect place to take our children and now grandchild. They couldn't get enough of the ocean. They were just amazed the first time we took them snorkeling - they said, 'Cool, it's like swimming in a giant fish tank!'
