  I hosted 6 members of my family, 4 adults and 2 kids. The rooms were generous and nice. Everything was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was user friendly except for the main sink faucet. Somebody had man-handled the pull out faucet, so it was still usable but hard to shift from one sink to the other. The pictures do not reflect the incredible ocean views from the patio. We got up and drank our coffee while whale watching from the patio. Moreover there is an observation patio, on top of the living room where you have unobstucted views of the ocean. Absolutely awesome. The pool was lovely but too cold at this time of year to use, but the hot tub was a big hit...used it everyday. We did take advantage of the condo complex Heated pool up the hill. It has a kiddie pool. The write up for Casa U Betch says it is a two level home. They mean that literally. The master bedroom, and common living spaces are on one level in one structure. The other 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry are in a separate structure you get to by walking 20 feet across the patio. For us this arrangement worked out great. We could play music, laugh, drink, whatever while the grand kids safely napped nearby. But if you just absolutely have to have everyone under one roof, then you need to understand how the house was built. To me, the architecture and grounds were stunning. Tropical and beautiful. Having Costco and a super Wallmart close by was a big plus. We choose to eat in most of the time we were there. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pans, etc. even a few left over spices to use. The only negative issue has to do with the water temperature control valves in the showers. It seems to take an inordinately long time to get hot water to the showers. they do work fine but I felt a little wasteful running the water that long. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is bringing their family to Cabo. I felt completely safe and welcome.I would rent this house again...loved it.

  This villa is situated perfectly for a group and it was even better than the pictures. The property manager, Bob, was helpful and pleasant. There were 8 adults in our group and we had plenty of space to have privacy and have fun as a group. We spent time on the private beach snorkeling and saw lots of colorful fish, and it was only a short walk away. We enjoyed the resort pool and had lunch there a couple of days - $2 fish tacos that were excellent! Each time we needed a taxi there was always one waiting at the front gate, a short walk up the path, and it was only about $5 per person to go into town. A wonderful time was had by all and we can't wait to return!

  I love Casa U Betcha, and cannot wait to return. The description of the home in the listing is accurate, and the pictures give one a feel for it, but truthfully in person this place will exceed your expectations. So much more beautiful than I imagined! The home and furnishings are modern and clean, and the open floor plan makes it feel so comfortable. There is plenty of room for a large group, while still offering quiet spaces in which to retreat if desired. The top floor and lower floor are separated by the patio, so there are private quarters for the adults to the kids, or for two different groups. The amenities offered in this home are so luxurious. The view of Land's End and the Arch from the hot tub never grew old, nor did the sunsets from the roof top patio. From the pool one can swim right up to a small sitting area off the master bedroom, which was fun. One of my favorite features of the home were the expansive sliding glass doors, which disappear into the walls, extending and joining the living room and dining room to the patio, and maximizing the views. The speakers from the sound system are built into all the common areas, so you can walk all over while enjoying music continuously. A breathtaking private beach too! The place is just made for relaxing and good times. The property manager, Bob, couldn't have been more pleasant either. In the days in advance of our vacation we encountered some travel difficulties, and had to ask Bob to tweak the days of the stay. He was accommodating and kind, allowing us to start our vacation in a more relaxed state than we would have been otherwise. That meant a lot. We met Bob too, on our way out. He was very personable and helpful then also. In fact, everyone we encountered at the Casa was great. Their maintenance man, Santiago, and even the employees working the gate at the entrance were all so very nice. We only encountered one small maintenance issue during our stay, and it was handled promptly and efficiently. Though only a few minutes drive from downtown Cabo and lots of attractions, we could hardly motivate to leave the home as it was so entertaining to just be there. Seriously! The casa is very near several grocery stores and Costco, so we just cooked and made Palomas for nearly our entire stay. With the gourmet kitchen, outdoor cooking facilities, private beach, hot tub and pool we didn't want to be anywhere else. Thanks so much Bob and Santiago! We'll definitely be back! - Robert and Amie

  Just want to let you know that our family had a great time staying at Casa U Betcha. We would stay there again and will recommend it to our friends. The villa is very conducive to cooking, entertaining, etc. The private beach is special and the view from the villa is spectacular. I would add to your notes that US dollars, not pesos, are all you need in Cabo along with credit cards. Also, the grill, which we often use for crab, pizzas, and scallops was perfect for our family of six. Thanks for the cold beers when we arrived. We left some beer, wine, paper towels, etc. Perfect vacation!

  Just out there a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful time! Very nice place with a great layout. All but the master bedroom are seperate from the house which made it nice for the party poopers. LOL!. Rooms and showers are very spacious and lots of open air. Good sound system on the patio. It was nice having a full kitchen.Cant say enough about the view! The private Beach is great for kids and adults. Along with the snorkling the kids loved playing in the waves. The resort staff is great and when they tell you to only go through them to reserve activities believe it! The bartender at the swim up bar at the resort makes great tacos! Thanks Tim for enabling our family to have such an enjoyable vacation.

  The house was perfect for our 10day family trip (2 families with 2 young kids each ranging from 2-6 years old). - Cool clean modern design work to frame awesome views, provide plenty of choices for many spaces, make the house feel open but also give rooms to go find quiet within. - The two level house allowed kids and adults to sleep or yell without bothering each other with different waking and sleeping times. - The large patio with open living/kitchen area allowed the kids to roam, play, sit in hot tub or pool while parents joined them or watched world cup on in the living room or relaxed in the indoor or outdoor dining tables or deck chairs. - Views were very nice and opportunities for both shade and sun as you liked. - The neighboring resort 2 min walk was convenient to have a different pool option or a snack away from home. - The local beach is a short 10 min walk, clean and good for kids. The kitchen and bbqing were fantastic for spending as much time as you want at home. - Stereo system great to play music to various zones - indoor and out - Beds all comfortable and slept great - Downtown cabo is a cheap cab ride and easy to just walk 2 min to main resort into a waiting cab. - Manager and staff very nice and responsive. - My only suggestion is they add wireless or internet connectivity in the house. You can get free wireless connectivity walking 2 minutes to the main resort pool area but not ideal when watching kids at home. after the other family left a couple days earlier than us, we spent the weekend at the hilton resort and truly appreciated how much nicer it was staying a casa ubetcha. even though resorts have nice big pools...they also have - crazy crowds fighting over deck chairs, no space to spread out, super overpriced food and drinks. Its truly a no-brainer to stay in Casa Ubetcha with a couple of families. Would stay here again any time.

  WE JUST RETURNED FROM THE CASA U BETCHA, AND I MUST SAY THAT THE VILLA WAS BETTER THAN WE EVEN HOPED FOR. WE HAD 7 FAMILY MEMBERS STAYING THERE, AND THE VILLA MORE THAN SATISFIED THE NEEDS OF EVERYONE. THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING AND WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START YOUR DAY WITH A CUP OF COFFEE ON THE ROOF TOP TERRACE! THE LOCATION OF THE VILLA IS GREAT WITH ONLY A SHORT RIDE TO SHOPPING OR DOWNTOWN. I WOULD MOST CERTAINLY RECOMMEND A STAY AT THE CASA U BETCHA TO MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES.

  Casa U Betcha was even better than expected. We had a great time at the house, and the close proximity to downtown Cabo made it perfect. Would definitely recommend the house, and we plan on staying their again.

  My friends and I have just returned from an amazing stay at Casa U Betcha. The house is immaculate and gorgeous and the views are stunning. We had so much hanging out at the private beach and swim-up pool bar that it was hard to get motivated to go downtown, but we did and had a blast there, too! This was one of the best vacations of our lives and we can't wait to go back. Thanks Bob and Santiago!!

  We celebrated our parents 60th anniversary in June 09. We stayed one week at Casa U Betcha. We have been to Cabo several times before, this was the best. We will definitely return!!!!! The home is beautiful and is much better in person than the pics on the web. The spa was used morning,noon and night, and the pool was a great source of fun. The view from the spa and patio is fabulous!!!!! The house is spread out and sooo comfortable, the rooms are spaciuous and designed well for a houseful. We always had our own space if it was needed. The house is also close to town, great surf spots, and snorkling. Everyone of us was impressed, and were sad to leave at the end of the week. Thanks Bob for everything we will be back....PS the Italian restaurant "The Mona Lisa" (in Missiones del cabo resort) was awesome.
