We were headed to the Central Coast to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Cal Poly. We wanted a place in Morro Bay, so that our family could enjoy the Coastal area, as well as all of us being able to stay together. What sold us on renting this home was the view, the large dining table and the price. We were not disappointed. The home can actually sleep 9 depending on your family (one of the rooms has a single bed and a double bed). Having 2 bathrooms was great. The kitchen was beautiful and worked for us. It had minimal cooking supplies (could use some serving type bowls and measuring cups) but we managed to make it all work. There are plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware (but we also brought along lots of plastic ware, napkins and paper plates). There is a pantry area which was great for storing all our food. There was also a BBQ grill which we utilized. Lots of closets throughout the house (no hangers, so we purchased some at the Dollar Tree store), lots of bath towels, a good size washer and dryer in garage (we did not need to use as we were staying only 4 days). The living and eating area are all open, which was great for us. The table was set up for 8, but there was another table that we lined up with the dining table and folding chairs in the closet, so we could all eat together and play games (friends of our daughter also joined us for the celebration). It was perfect and we loved the view of the Rock. There was a fire place, which was nice to have on in the evening, wifi, TV (with DVD, we used to play CD music). There is also a second TV in one of the bedrooms We walked down to the coast (about 1.5 miles) but be prepared for the uphill walk on the way home. Of course you can drive down this will take you only a couple of minutes. Lots of great restaurants, shopping, explore the bay kayaking or walking (enjoy birds, otters, seals), Morro beach is easily assessable for swimming or shell collecting (sand dollars too) Close to PCH 1 so you can drive up the coast or inland which offers so much to do. If you are a wine drinker you will most certainly enjoy the Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo area. There is an Albertsons Market and Rite Aid close by too, if you need any supplies. We have been enjoying the Central Coast for the past 5 years, this was our first time to use VRBO here, but we all agreed that we would come back to this home. It was exactly what we were looking for.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Great view of the Morro Rock from Living Room, Dining Room and Outside Porch Area... Very easy and fast access off Hwy 1... very close to stores & downtown Morro Bay. Much easier then having to drive for over 15 min off the hwy to find house in places like Cambria. They allowed our two dogs to stay in back yard area. That was great... However it was very foggy & wet during the week, so I had to make them a shelter to lay in, but worked out ok. Next time I may ask if they can have access in the patio area of the house in between the garage/house & have access on the side of the house area... You may want to ask if you have dogs... But great place for your dogs... Home has large TV, two great reclyners, couch & chairs in large Living Room with Fire Place... Perfect size of kitchen, Very large Oak looking dining table. You can sleep 7 people... Bedrooms/Mattresses are all ok - not great but does sleep 7... 2 Bathrooms nice, clean & new... Ok when we return we will make sure the owner upgrades the cable TV system so I will be able to watch more selections of Televison such as ESPN... I have to admit, it was rough a week of NO ESPN... Watching Basic Television all week was brutal. You can only watch so much Shopping Network TV... OUCH !... Also next time I will make sure there is internet access. But those are easy fixes... I highly recommend this place... It is comfortable and spacious... Have Fun!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
