This newly remodeled cabin is located on the north and sunny side of the lake with stunning views. It sleeps 8 persons.
This home has direct access to the lake across Donner Pass Road with several public piers located across the street. The foyer has a TV, DVD player, and a Queen pull out sofa. On the lower level are the Kids' room with two sets of bunk beds, and the second room has a queen size bed.
Upstairs the kitchen, living room, and dining area make one big great room. The kitchen has tile marble countertops, and slate flooring. Sliding glass doors in the dining area lead out to the shaded back deck, while the sliding glass doors in the living room lead out to the sunny front deck. A small hallway connect the great room to the master bedroom and master bathroom.
This is a pet friendly unit, and is a short term vacation rental both in the summer. The 2011 rates are $950 to $1250 per week plus cleaning and tax. It has a Friday check in/out day. Call for daily rates if available.

The view is amazing - the layout is open with with beautiful and modern kitchen all facing that view...it's spotless...it's a perfect place for families with kids...with 2 of the bedrooms are located downstairs with it's own bathroom and extra space...the location is central to everything. Summer or Winter this house is a great choice for the family. highly recommend it and would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

About the owner: Donner Lake is an ideal year round destination with winter snow activities, summer water and mountain fun and spring and fall quiet getaways for your favorite sport or just relaxing. It is close to many ski areas, Town of Truckee, Lake Tahoe, 45 minutes to Reno for casinos and there is good fishing across the street.
