We stayed at Casa del Sol for the holidays and had a fabulous time. The home is very accommodating for a family, and the dining area is spacious. The beach access was so convenient, you are right on the beach! The ocean views are amazing. We saw right whales, dolphins and stingrays right off shore. Being from the mid west this was a huge treat for us. The house was clean and well equipped. We hope to come back again.

The Casa in Ponte Vedra was absolutely delightful........it is virtually right on the beach! You are at the ocean whether you are inside or out! The large dining family room was great for entertaining ...excellent design....constant view of the ocean...or marsh! Clean and charming and we will absolutely recommend this property to our friends. We had a fabulous stay and did not go to any nearby attractions because we just did not want to leave this beach cottage! Thankyou!

I hosted Dutch relatives at this property during the weekend before Thanksgiving. The house was a good fit since we were preparing Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people a bit early---slept 8 and the table sat 10, kitchen was well-stocked (although we had to wash all of the dishes/silverware prior to using them) with cookware and place settings/silverware, was well-represented by the web photos and needed no additional entertainment since the house sat only steps from the sea. We did experience a few disconnects with the wi-fi and were uncertain how to operate the remote(s) for the tv, but the owners were quite helpful when contacted. The half-bath referred to in the listing is actually a full bath with a shower, but is located outside, around the corner(and through beach sand) and a level below the rest of the house. We found it untidy and unclean upon arrival, but the owner did clean it upon request. It is attached to a rather dark and unwelcoming rec room, which we chose not to use. Also, for clarification purposes, the two twin beds referred to in the listing actually are a trundle bed. In most ways the house worked well for our purposes--plenty of room, close enough to both Ponte Vedra and St. Augustine and came with its own built-in entertainment. Although the owner assured us that the house had been cleaned before our arrival, we found it necessary to re-sweep the floors, re-clean the kitchen (we found dead bugs and food on the counters and in the sink) and the bathrooms and to clean the inside of the frig, as it smelled of fish. I probably would not refer friends or relatives, but it may be just what you are looking for in a beach house.

However, we were disappointed in her comments about the cleanliness issues of the home. We take pride in the condition of Casa del Sol, and want our Guests to be completely satisfied with their stay. Our home is always professionally cleaned and prepared for our guests arrival. In fact, the owner was on the premises at the time of check in, and the guest did bring to our attention a concern about the condition of the beach bathroom, which was immediately addressed. Upon check in, the guest did seemed satisfied and happy with the home, and did not bring any other issues to our attention at that time. Our Guest's satisfaction is important to us, and we want to address any concerns immediately, we don't want our guests to express dissatisfaction after check out. As the property owners and managers, we strive to provide a quality, clean oceanfront rental at an amazing price compared to other oceanfront properties in the Ponte Vedra area. Casa del Sol has many repeat, satisfied guests that continue to come back annually for their vacations plans and family gatherings. We have received many compliments on the quality of Casa del Sol vacation rental, and strive to continue to provide our guests with the enjoyment of the many amenities Casa del Sol and the area have to offer.

FAMILY VACATION TO ATTEND WEDDING

We totally enjoyed our week at Casa Del Sol. We were attending our grandson/nephews wedding in St Augustine. The place is lovely inside and outside. It was convenient to families home and the wedding. I have and will recommend your home for such occasions. Thank you for its use. Swimming and dolphin watching was at its best.

This is our first stay on Ponte Vedra Beach but we will return again. Casa del Sol is a great house!! Very clean; everyone in the family was comfortable and had plenty of room to each have their own space. Loved the open floor plan. The beach is great and just right down the road is Guana Reserve with great birding!!

Since we've been guests of Casa del Sol for 6 consecutive years, it should be apparent that we absolutely adore the place. It is the perfect setting for sunning on the deck, taking a walk on the beach, and reconnecting with old friends. The owners make sure to update the interior so that it stays current and accommodating. The new flat panel tv is a great addition, however we found it more entertaining to watch the whales, manta ray and dolphins frolicking in the ocean and the kids playing in the sand next door. Our evenings there were nearly perfect with tasty barbecue from the grill and music from the included stereo system. We look forward to returning next year! The Este Girls

We loved the house and enjoyed the stay. We enjoyed the ocean views and comforts of the home. The polite, friendly shop-owners in St. Augustine were a pleasure to deal with. Family vacation - from the second we walked into the door we knew this was going to be a perfect week. The weather was great - the kids enjoyed the sand and surf. We watched the dolphins swim by in pairs. We loved the views - all around relaxing time. We are looking forward to spending next year here

We have rented Casa del Sol at least 4 times - we love the local getaway. We shared a special weekend with daughter and friends. Great kitchen for cooking, took walks on beach, watching the sun rise. Lots of memories shared

Friends on a road trip - breaking in the new year with great friends and catching a couple of mofro shows. Enjoyed St Augustine for some entertainment, it was beautiful to see the whole town glow up with Christmas lights. Casa del Sol was perfect for the end of our stay - we enjoyed time with great friends.

Again, we want you to know what a wonderful house you have. We feel so at home when we arrive and you have gone far beyond the usual rental in the furnishings and kitchen wares. We so enjoy the view and sitting on the porch. It was just a very wonderful visit and the weather cooperated
