  It gives me extreme pleasure to be able to write this review. It is the least that I can do to thank the owner David, and his staff for a spectacular stay. I rented out both sides of this home for some VIP clients, my parents and their friends. One of the best things I had planned for their stay. I service began from my first contact with David. Every email I wrote with questions, was responded to that same day, and made me feel comfortable from the start. Since I live in Rio, I asked to visit the apartment, as to sometimes in Rio you don't get what the photo shows. How happy I was to see that the quality of the apartment was exactly what I saw. The apartment is extremely well kept, from the paint, to the exotic artwork, the first class bathrooms, and even the items in the kitchen. They seem to have thought of everything that would be needed. We were given VIP service from the start. Remember, we were a group of 12, so had a lot of luggage. The staff was there to take our bags upstairs, as if we were in a hotel. There was even daily maid service. I always had access to assistance, at whatever time. I myself was lucky enough to catch the owner while he was in Rio, and he made it a point to greet my family personally. What a difference it makes when you rent a quality home, from quality people. Looking forward to the next time of renting it again. Thank you David and staff!!

  This was the best place for a large group of people. What we really loved about it was having the living spaces inside and out for us to be together or apart as the mood and activities of our group eventuated. We all felt this was valuable to the success of our group and our bonding, plus it gave us spaces where we could be alone if we chose to. Having 2x kitchen facilities was also great as well as all the bathroom facilities and some bedrooms with en-suites. The decor is so welcoming and attractive with many decorating details added to create the ambiance of the accommodation . We just loved this and felt we were in a special place. The property is clean and well maintained, and the descriptions given are accurate for the amenities provided The property is central, very easy to access and we would recommend the Penthouses to any group of people we know travelling to Rio.   Our family of 6 adults rented the entire penthouse for 5 days and loved staying here. The location is ideal if you want to be near the beaches yet convenient to metro and restaurants. The penthouse is beautifully decorated with everything you need. The owner provided a great driver/tour guide who spoke English and was very helpful. The cleaning service was every other day and very nice. The manager gave my adult sons information on all the clubs and night life. We enjoyed having our coffee and drinks out on the terraces which had partial views of the mountains and the beach. The penthouse is on the 11th floor, elevators going to the 10th so its a short walk up. Good security. Wi-fi and cable TV. It feels like staying in your own home, the problem is you never want to leave! We will always stay here when visiting Rio. David, the owner provided plenty of information before we arrived so we knew where things were and what we wanted to do. Thank you David for making the experience so pleasurable!

  Thank you David and your team for helping us make our trip to Rio the best it could ever have been. When booking direct with an owner and not through a travel agent, there is always that slight concern that it is not going to work out (!) but from the get go David banished that concern and made the lead up to our trip super easy and answered any questions we had be them necessary or daft! As a group of 7, we were finding it hard to find somewhere suitable to stay to meet everyone's requirements, but Davids apartment came up trumps in terms of; Location - a couple of minutes walk to Copacabana beach with restaurants, supermarkets, banks, shops and the metro all in the surrounding area. Space - 4 guys and 3 girls, and we never once felt cramped in the five nights we stayed, having only taken one half of the penthouse. The maid service was excellent and we were always so surprised to come back to a very clean and tidy apartment. Thank you to Marcos who was excellent to deal with in picking us up and dropping us all off at the airport, as well as making restaurant bookings and organizing for us to go to a football match (which is a Must!) Incredibly helpful to have someone in the know and who also speaks English! We could not fault our stay one bit, which as a group who have individually traveled around the world, is surprising! I would most definitely recommend the penthouse to family and friends and we all hope to return again very soon!

  Awesome penthouse flat, cracking views of Rio. 7 of us stayed and flat is very spacious, very clean. Great hospitality by the owner and assistants which were super friendly. Very close proximity to Copacabana beach. Close transport links to metro and bus to move around the city. 1st experience of staying in an apartment, and has made me reconsider about staying in hotels after this experience. Would 100% return to the same flat!!!

  Fabulous apt, fabulous service, what more can be said!? We booked directly with David - very last minute due to problems with other accommodation which he took in his stride, welcomed us personally quite late at night and ensured we were settled in for the night. He assisted us with every activity, had great recommendations for nights out and meals making sure we had a great time in Rio. The apt is beautiful and the location is great. Close to metro, buses, restaurants and the beach! Highly recommended. Thanks again David.

  There is absolutely nothing but positive to say about this Penthouse; it's located at a perfect spot close to all facilities in the middle of Copacabana. We stayed, 17 persons, for one week in July 2012, and felt like we were at a luxury hotel during this period! There shouldn't be need of saying much more than this... A perfect place to spend your time if you are to travel with a large group to Rio de Janeiro!

  The owner was super helpful and accommodating getting our large group in and allowing for split payments before we arrived. The penthouse was well furnished, clean and had a great balcony and view! Only a few blocks walking distance to Copacabana Beach, and a delicious 24 hour snack shop right across the street!

  A group of friends planned this trip to Rio for my birthday weekend. It ended up being one couple and 5 single friends. I couldn't have been more pleased with all aspects of the trip. From the start, when we chose David's penthouse to stay at, David was helpful, attentive and everything went smoothly. When we arrived, we couldn't have been happier. The apartment is exactly as described in the listening. It ended up being perfect for our group. David had set up one room for a couple and the two additional bedrooms had single beds in them (he had asked ahead of time what our preference was). Additionally, the beautifully decorated library was set up with a bed. The decor was tasteful and the apartment was impeccably clean. David thought of little details such as napkins and garbage bags in the kitchen and a reusable coffee filter in the coffee pot! Plentiful linens were provided. These are little details that make things so much nicer. Each day we went to get items for our breakfast at the local markets - there are two on the same block. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk away. I had never stayed in Copacabana and was very happy with the location. There is a great juice bar - one of the delights of Rio - right on the corner where you can get almost any fresh juice you can imagine! If you are considering Rio, I would highly recommend David's apartment. And, I seriously suggest considering Rio. I've been a half a dozen times now and it never lets me down. From the nightlife of Leblon and Lapa, to the beautiful beaches that are a delight to all the senses, to the amazing sight of Christ the Redeemer perched high on the hill overlooking the city, Rio has something for everyone. The already wonderful trip was made that much better to have a place like David's to come "home" to each night. Thanks. I can guarantee I will recommend it to all my friends.

  This penthouse was spacious with a great view and about 2 blocks from the beach. It's in Copacabana, which is a nice retreat from downtown Rio but only a quick metro ride away. The owner was very responsive and helpful. This would be a great place to stay if you're heading to Rio for the World Cup.

  Just wanted to thank David and his team. Myself and 5 buddies travelled to Brazil to experience all that Rio had to offer. We wanted to party, eat, soak in the sun and be safe while doing it. We heard all the crime stories but David provided us a tour guide/driver in Marcos who really went above and beyond to ensure we had a blast and kept in the right areas. The accommodations are very, very well kept. Very nice decor and beautiful views. Its had a wrap around balcony and each bedroom has access to the balcony. The bathrooms are very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. New looking. There is a small but nice kitchen. The premise has a safe for your belongings and its located a block away from Copacabana beach and in the center of the town. We'd get up and grab fresh juice each morning from a spot across the street. Sun shines on the wraparound balcony all day....so nice. We would receive clean towels each day from the building manager and there was always a doorman 24 hours a day. Impanema beach is only 5 minute cab away...$12 Rias approx. I travel often and have stayed at many hotels etc...I definitely recommend this place....

  Two friends and I rented this lovely three bedroom apartment that sits two blocks from the Coppacabana beach and in walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, banks, and the post office. It is very spacious with a fully stocked kitchen and air conditioning in each room. The bathrooms are large and the closet space plentiful. The building's security is excellent and we felt extremely safe. The upstairs bedroom is a bit difficult to access with luggage, but once you get up there, the view is awesome. It has it's own private terrace that compliments the one below. The apartment has maid service every other day and is clean and well- maintained. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating and responded to our every need. The rental process was easy and hassle fee. I highly recommend staying in this venue.

  Owner response: The private upstairs suite has it's own full bathroom, and enormous garden terraces with dramatic views of the mountains, jungle and city. It's reached by a circular staircase which gives it a feel as though it's all on its own. Large luggage is a little tricky to navigate on the staircase, but our staff are always available to help.

  I had an AMAZING time during my stay here. I went with 10 other friends and we all had cute rooms and comfortable beds to sleep on -- there was definitely enough room for everybody! A few key highlights that made my stay splendid: 1. Location: I could see the beach from our terrace -- only a few blocks away. If you like to have options on quick places to eat/snack, we had several options within a 1-2 block radius where we could pick up delicious fresh smoothies, sandwiches, quick breakfast and other snacks. I also remember being a short (and cheap) cab ride or subway ride from key landmarks in the city (e.g. Sugar Loaf mountains and Christ the Redeemer). A lot of other reviews said the Copacabana neighborhood isn't very safe -- however, I felt perfectly safe in this neighborhood. The main thing to watch out for in Rio is the traffic -- they don't give way to pedestrians really -- but this is applicable everywhere, not just Copacabana. 2. Space: The overall living quarters were excellent. There were 10 of us, so we fit perfectly in the duplex penthouse -- 2 kitchens, a wrap-around terrace (with great views of the city), several bathrooms, beautiful (and comfortable) furniture, and FUNCTIONING wi-fi -- what more can you ask for? We decided to cook dinner on our last night there and the kitchen was fully stocked, so it was very convenient. Also, if you're into working out while you're away (e.g. Insanity or P90X), I was able to do so comfortably in these quarters. 3. The Host/Landlord: Last but not least, David was the most welcoming host/landlord ever! He eagerly greeted us upon arrival and gave us some great tips/advice of what to do, see, and eat in the city. Beyond that, he just gave us some great advice that only locals would know. He also stocked his place with delicious snacks to make it as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Overall, I would highly recommend this place -- and it's especially great if you're traveling with a bigger group!

  We had a fabulous stay at the Duplex Penthouse, which comfortably fit our group of 10 people. When we arrived, there were refreshments and snacks and David greeted us to help us acclimate to life in Rio. The location is right near the subway and right near the beach, with some great juice/pastry shops adorning the neighborhood. It's also really easy to get a cab and to explain the intersection (if you don't speak Portuguese). I highly recommend staying here and would easily return with a big group.

  We stayed at David's lovely penthouse for the last bit of carnival through the following weekend. I have only wonderful things to say about the experience. Two important points: 1) I can't imagine a better place to stay in Rio. It was our first time in the city, and we found the neighborhood to be extremely convenient, with cabs everywhere, a 24 hr ATM nearby, grocery on the block, food, the beach - it's all right here. 2) David makes this place sparkle. He gave us recommendations about what to try in the neighborhood, was always available if we had any questions, and he even did my friend's laundry in a pinch. What a gentleman and a superior host. We'll be coming back as soon as we can!

  The penthouse was an excellent space to enjoy Rio with a small group of friends and loved ones. The living areas were spacious enough to hold our entire group (we were 10), and the bedrooms were private enough to afford everyone privacy. The terrace/patio areas were excellent - they also could fit our entire group. The kitchens and bathrooms worked well, had the types of fixtures we are accustomed to in the US, and the cleaning services provide were adequate for the kind of use we gave the place. The location of the penthouse was excellent - close to the beach at Copacabana, and close to the subway stop for getting to Ipanema or downtown. I would gladly return.

The penthouse itself was in excellent condition, beautifully furnished and is set up perfectly for guests with individual AC units in each room, multiple keys, cell phones, ipod docks, etc. It was the perfect set up.

  I recently travelled with a group of 7 guys to Rio de Janeiro. I had been to Rio on numerous occasions and usually stayed in a hotel. This was a far better experience and far more reasonable price. This penthouse is 2 blocks from Copacabana beach - 2 major grocery stores a stone throw away. Every morning started with a custom made juice concoction from the juice bar across the street than ended up being called "The Canadian". We rented both penthouses that connect if need be from the patio. Perfect place for larger groups who enjoy hanging out together and having the ability for ultimate privacy at the same time. I would most definitely stay there again. The owner was always available and helpful. All transactions were seamless.

  I travel for 11 months a year and 90% of the time stay in rental apartments. My girlfriend joined me in Rio so we took David's penthouse for 2 weeks. The communication with David leading up to our stay was excellent, he came across as very friendly and accommodating. When we arrived, the apartment was well-stocked with a water fountain and other great little touches that showed that he wanted to look after people. Previously I had stayed in an apartment where there was only one toilet roll, no kitchen basics, and where I had to pay for cleaning and electricity on top of the rental fee! This was a world apart. Barbara looks after the house and is incredibly friendly and polite. The penthouse itself is nicely decorated, has good wifi, an ipod dock, and terrace and views are excellent. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

  Our family of five spent New Year's week in Rio in this penthouse and had the best time. The layout, decor, and details were beyond our expectations. Fresh fruit, chocolate, and other goods awaited our arrival as did his staff who made sure we were settled. We cooked meals using food from local markets, took on expeditions with a guide provided and savored breakfast in the sun out on the balcony.   Dave, the owner, helped us out of a jam as a last minute reservation. Our son had stayed here previously and raved about the apartment and it's location. Dave was so gracious to allow us to come early and even take a shower in his own unit until the apartment was ready. The views, the appointments of the space, the comfort was like being welcome to an old friends home. We were provided with a great location, 3 blocks from the beach, and great local restuarants and shopping. Dave as the host provided with great converstion. The unit had fresh fruit and drinks, daily maid service, comfortable beds, a large kitchen (by Brazilian standards) and killer views of the ocean and mountains. We couldn't have asked for a more friendly environment or host. When next we visit our son in Brazil, we would not hesitate staying here again in Rio. Dave, thanks for everything.

  Temos pasado unas excelentes vacaciones en Rio de Janeiro con mi familia, siempre habiamos viajado en hoteles a muchos lugares del mundo, pero esta vez quisimos probar la experiencia de arrendar un hermoso penthouse que encontramos en Rio, lo recomiendo para todos el departamento esta cercano a la playa de Copacabana, en las mananas uno baja y existen muchas alternativas para comprar cosas para el desayuno, los fines de semana hay una feria en una plaza que esta a una cuadra, uno no se siente como turista y eso es lo magico de este tipo de viajes, al final uno se mezcla con la gente y se siente un carioca mas entre la gente y eso no se puede sentir cuando uno planea vacaciones en hoteles, en fin solo tengo buenos comentarios para este lugar que ofrece David Parker y con toda seguridad volveremos proximamente para estar de nuevo en familia disfrutando del sol, la playa, las ricas cosas para comer, la samba, el aire, la gente, los olores y sabores, la musica y todas las cosas magicas que uno siente cuando se transforma en un carioca mas de Rio.................... One does not feel like a tourist and that's the magic of this type of travel. In the end you can mix with people and feel like a Carioca more between the people, AND that cannot be felt when you plan to vacation in hotels. So I have only good reviews for this place that David Parker offers, and with all certainty, I’ll back again soon to be a family together enjoying the sun, the beach, rich things to eat, samba, air, people, smells and tastes, music and all the magical things you feel when you become a Rio carioca ....................   My co-workers and I were on a buisness trip in Rio looking for something other than a hotel where we might have a "HOME" feel! We found it in the penthouse. We were on business for 4 days and stayed over an additional 3 for play. It is idealy located near the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, cabs, a park, and whatever else you might be looking for. We all truly enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be able to get back some day!

  Our family of 8, ranging from teenagers to grandmother, from three different parts of the US, came together in Rio at the Copacabana penthouse apartment.The apartment is beautiful, airy and tastefully decorated. We had plenty of room to "hang out" together in the dining room, living room and lovely outside terrace. We used the 3 bedrooms and the study to accomodate the necessary sleeping arrangements. David was very flexible and ensured that we had whatever we needed. The penthouse location is central for a variety of tourist adventures and relaxing/biking along the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. It is very convenient to stores and we always felt safe. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, well furnished, safe and beautiful. Plus its fun to watch the busy streets below from the terrace! David is such a friendly and terrific host! His outgoing personality, willingness to help and answer any questions regarding the apartment and the surrounding area made us feel at home and confident to make our way around this region of Rio. He connected us with transportation from the airport, a reliable and affordable tour guide and advice about using public transportation in Rio. He provided a google map which included local restaurants, grocery stores, banks and local amenities like juice bars and street food for our enjoyment. We all agreed that when we return to Rio,this would be our first choice for accommodations. I would enthusiastically recommend the Copacabana penthouse apartment to another friend, colleague or family member. Overall an A+

  This penthouse is a gem in the city of Rio. Centrally-located, beautifully appointed, spacious, and with much individuality. The unit is partitioned into two separate penthouses, with ample-sized kitchens and airy living rooms. The bedrooms are intimate and quiet. I look forward to returning again soon. Special kudos to the lovely, gracious staff!

  We stayed at this luxurious Penthouse in a great part of Copacabana for three nights. We had such a good experience that after traveling around Brazil, we chose to return to Rio and spend our final night again at the Penthouse. The rooms are done with exquisite taste and the balconies are great as well. Looking forward to returning!

  Hemos pasado unas excelentes vacaciones en Río de Janeiro con mi familia, siempre habíamos viajado en hoteles a muchos lugares del mundo, pero esta vez quisimos probar la experiencia de arrendar un hermoso penthouse que encontramos en Río, lo recomiendo para todos el departamento esta cercano a la playa de Copacabana, en las mañanas uno baja y existen muchas alternativas para comprar cosas para el desayuno, los fines de semana hay una feria en una plaza que está a una cuadra, uno no se siente como turista y eso es lo mágico de este tipo de viajes, al final uno se mezcla con la gente y se siente un carioca más entre la gente y eso no se puede sentir cuando uno planea vacaciones en hoteles, en fin solo tengo buenos comentarios para este lugar que ofrece David Parker y con toda seguridad volveremos próximamente para estar de nuevo en familia disfrutando del sol, la playa, las ricas cosas para comer, la samba, el aire, la gente, los olores y sabores, la música y todas las cosas mágicas que uno siente cuando se transforma en un carioca más de Río....................   We stayed at this luxurious Penthouse in a great part of Copacabana for three nights. We had such a good experience that after traveling around Brazil, we chose to return to Rio and spend our final night again at the Penthouse.   We stayed in this apartment last week 9April 17-22) We loved the location, only 3 block from the Copacabana beach, and it's located on a busy street which makes it easy to take cabs to go to turist locations (Corcovado) Ipanema, etc. My husband even was able to do his morning jogs and enjoy the view of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon beach (they are all close to each other) The building is sourounded by super markets, bakerys, restaurants, so super convenient!! David was a great host helping us settle and giving us great recos! Also the maid service was amazing (Nilsa) and Adriano (the guy that takes care of the apartment) was very friendly and helpful in quickly fixing things when needed. I really recommend this apartment if you are planning to go for week or so.

  This is by far my favourite place to stay in Rio! A real home away from home. I have stayed at both penthouses on numerous occasions and highly recommend them both. Beautifully decorated throughout, 2 blocks from the beach, doorman building, subway on the corner and 24 hr deli on the corner...what more could one want?! David Parker the owner who is from NYC and Adriano who manages the properties are both extremely helpful and accommodating. I can't fault this place and highly recommend it to

  My wife and I and 2 other couples had the good fortune of securing this lovely condo for a brief stay in Rio de Janeiro, just a couple of days after Carnaval. The space was as good as it looks in the pictures (always an unknown until you actually arrive!), and David Parker the owner was very responsive and accessible. We arranged for his contact, Marcos, to pick us up at the airport and that was a very smooth process, as well as the easy check-in with Adriano. We highly recommend this for great location, comfort and ease of use if you're looking to stay in Rio. We definitely hope to be back! Thanks again, David!

  This penthouse apartment was amazing! Your right in the heart of Copa. Anything, and everything you need is in walking distance. The place was clean and exactly as listed. Coming from someone who usually prefers hotels, I was not disappointed one bit. 24 hour doorman kept us feeling safe and we had clean towels, freshly made beds, internet, cable, and great views from the balcony(s). There isn't a doubt of if I'll stay here again, more so when! David was great with suggestions and answering all our questions. I really don't have anything but positive things to say about this apartment. I felt like I was living in Copa for a week. If your planning on staying in this penthouse apartment, you won't be disappointed. Thank you very much for everything!

  This place is awesome. Beach, restaurants, groceries, and transportation are right out the door. The space inside is perfect. It has everything that you need. The best part is hanging out on the balcony. We ate dinner out there almost every night. There is no need to keep looking for better options if you are trying to stay in Copacabana. You will not be disappointed.

  The apartment is excellent- good location right in the middle of Copacabana, some 300m from the beach.Two huge and nicely designed and lit terraces (in fact too good, so much so that they may make you not go out during a weekend night, it happened to us for a couple of nights). The design of the whole penthouse is tasteful, yet unpretentious and therefore made us feel very homely. Usually the holiday apartments one can rent over the internet appear much nicer on the photos than in reality- this was not the case here. We were very positively surprised when we actually saw the apartment, it appeared nicer in reality. Very nice and helpful owner. I will recommend this property to all my friends heading to Rio.

  I had a wonderful time in the apartment. It is incredibly clean, spacious, and convenient. There were plenty of cooking utensils and David was pretty responsive to our requests. Having someone clean the apartment every day was a great bonus! I’d highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering a stay in Rio. Location is great (right near the beach and an easy walk to the metro station and Ipanema).

  I have stayed at this penthouse twice already. I love Rio, and would not consider another place for my next brazilian vacation. Highly recommend, clean, spacious, a perfect haven in the heart of Rio. Chic, comfortable and next to the beach!

  My friend and I stayed in this apartment on my first trip to Rio de Janeiro. I had heard a lot of good and some bad about Rio before I left, but I must say that my experience was fantastic. <p> We stayed for 10 days in the beautiful and relaxing duplex-penthouse. The huge terraces over look all of Copacabana. Every morning we'd have coffee on the terrace and greet the day. We would end the day the same way, but with cocktails in our hands, entertaining new friends. <p> The location is just perfect, in the center of Copacabana with tons of markets, restaurants, bars, etc. AND only 2 short blocks to the beach. One block to the terrific subway that allows you to get all over the city. I would recommend Rio AND this beautiful and impeccably maintained penthouse to everyone. You’ll definitely want to return.

  It was my first visit to Rio and I must confess I was a bit apprehensive, since it is such a large metropolitan area and I also don’t speak Portuguese. It was a hot summer day when I arrived, but once I entered the apartment space and swung open the patio doors, I immediately began to decompress, exhale and as I stepped on to the patio I felt as if I was experiencing a little bit of heaven. The apartment was simply lovely, not overly decorated but very warm and comfortable. I felt instantly at home. It had all the amenities to make my stay more than pleasant. Being only a block from the beach and having great Brazilian restaurants nearby, plus local shops and cafes, I established a comfort zone that to the quality of my experience. Whenever I returned to the apartment following a meal, or sightseeing, a stroll near the beach, or an afternoon swim, the apartment was always a delightful relaxing retreat from the big city. I am seriously consider returning in the wintertime and would happily choose to stay here again. The accommodations were more than excellent and just perfect for my needs. And oh how those afternoon breezes made it so worth every penny. Thumbs up on this one.

  I have thoroughly enjoyed all three of my stays at this wonderful Rio Penthouse. The apartment is huge, with 3 full bedrooms, 2 bathrooms-spacious and private for a number of people on two garden terraces. I especially love the way the living room fully opens onto the lower terrace with French doors, bringing the outside in and opening it up. During the day, it's a great respite way above, but it''s exciting to watch the busy Rio streets below from the terrace too. And it's only 3 classically mosaic tiled blocks from the wonderful beaches and Ave Atlantico, right in the heart of Copacabana. At night, the terrace is an espcecially friendly place to have drinks before a great night out in this romantic city-and a more quiet and intimate hideaway at the end of the night. The place has everything you need and I've always felt comfortable and secure in the local area. The building itself is also more secure with the doorman at the lobby and the unit being the "Cobertura" (penthouse) at the very rooftop of the building. I believe the Owner has recently purchased the unit next door and I look forward to seeing how that is renovated too, because I will return to this same spot whenever I return to Rio again.

  After just a few days at this glorious and roomy apartment, you'll think that you've turned into a Carioca (a native of Rio de Janeiro). First, in terms of Copacabana beach, it's just outside your door. Second, when you return to this penthouse you'll be in wonderfully spacious and luxurious surroundings. You'll be torn between spending time in the fully appointed bedrooms and the large garden terrace. No need to worry about day to day details; a staff person is available to ensure that all your needs taken care of. And to give you that "Five Star" experience. This is living in the heart of Rio, at its best. Not to be missed. (I have had the good fortune to renting this duplex penthouse apartment several times and will be headed back.)

  This is a dream penthouse in the heart of one of the world's most beautiful cities. Wow! The location is great...right in the center of Copacabana in a safe building with extraordinary views of the city, mountains and sea. It is well furnished with a great kitchen and fabulous terraces. The apartment was clean and well appointed, all you need for a great stay. I liked the location a lot, as I love the street life of Rio, the friendly crowds of families and shoppers. (Great shops nearby); yet suddenly you can be "above it all" watching a peaceful sunset (or sunrise if you've been out playing late) with a cool drink in your hand. There are gyms and good restaurants nearby and of course, the amazing beaches of Rio. One of my favorite restaurants is a "Churrascaria" - Brazilian BBQ - called "Porcao" (means big pig); It's a quick cab ride away with a stunning view of Sugar Loaf and great food. Carnivore? you'll like it!...Sunday lunch at Porcao when it's full of Brazilian families is a great experience. I'd happily recommend this apartment to my friends and family...the perfect place in a great city.
