Hi Kurt, Sorry, life has been busy upon our arrival home. You know how that goes! Thank you so much for the beautiful memories I have embedded into my mind of the days leading up to our wedding and after. It all seems like a dream now when I reflect on it. Scott's best friends were there from childhood, and my best friend was there from many years ago. It was fast, furious, lovely, fun, enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home. We appreciate it more than you can know. Sincerely and with heartfelt thanks, Peg ..................................................................................... ..................... Oh, by the way....I didn't have a bouquet ordered to carry....so I cut the flowers that you had in the vase for us ...wrapped a jeweled bracelet around it and used that as my bridal bouquet. It worked perfectly. :PDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This rental home is a gem. Our group of 7 women stayed here for a college reunion and we couldn't have been more pleased with the size and condition of the home. Not only did everyone have their own comfy bed, but the gathering spaces were large enough to accommodate our group. The kitchen is well-stocked and we had everything we needed to use the gourmet kitchen and outdoor grill. Kurt is organized and accommodating and the process of reserving the home was easy. The home is located in a beautiful part of Boulder and it was easy to get to Pearl Street. Parking right in front of the house was never a problem. Our favorite aspect of the home was the outdoor courtyard. The pictures don't do it justice! We had beautiful September weather and enjoyed sitting outside with our morning coffee. I wholeheartedly recommend renting this home. You won't regret it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Never tire of hearing from families and friends who have stayed with us and left with warm memories. Thank you for staying with us Kimberly

My sister and I have been traveling together since we graduated college. We've always rented houses, and this home is by far our favorite. The listing accurately describes the accommodations, which were immaculate and well maintained. The owner was not only accessible, he had great suggestions for our first trip to Boulder and Colorado. We enjoyed fishing, tubing and hiking. The home was walking distance from restaurants and the farmers' market. There were eight of us in the party ranging in age between 11-78 years. Everyone was happy and comfortable preparing family meals, reading, and playing various games. I recommend this property and would definitely return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Beth, It was a delight to have you and your family for a stay. KJ

We stayed at Kurt Furmann's listed property to attend the wedding of our niece. The property was even more lovely than lindicated in the listing. The owner was especially helpful and accommodated our every need. As a result, staying at his home was a significant part of making our wedding voyage and family re-union a wonderful experience. Our family has rented a number of houses over the years, but this was the first real home that we have been in. As soon as we walked in, we knew there was something different about the home--there was an instant feeling of warmth and comfort. Besides the intangibles, the home was spotless and was a wonderful place to keep our grandchildren occupied and our children and other visiting relatives entertained. I just wish that we hadn't gone shopping first and bought all of the food, toiletries, and other staples before we moved in; i.e., I have never seen a rental residence so stocked with literally everything we needed. A soecial thanks again to Kurt Furrmann for everything he did to make our visit a great one. My 7 college roommates and I stayed here for 3 days this summer and had a blast. We had our morning coffee and evening wine on the patio and cooked up a couple of great meals in the kitchen. The location is perfect as both Chautauqua and downtown Boulder are easy walks.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and once again it provided a comfortable, well appointed home for our family and guests. The layout is wonderful for entertaining; the kitchen, patios, outdoor grill, and pool table on the lower floor worked wonderfully for our daughter's graduation party. PS The shower in the master suite is awesome! We would not hesitate to rent it again should we return to Boulder.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

We were overjoyed with our stay in this beautiful home. We came to Boulder for our son's wedding and stayed with our family and relatives for 2 nights. It was in a beautiful quiet neighborhood close to Chatauqua Park and had all the amenities we needed and more! The house was so beautiful, clean and spacious and served as a quiet retreat as we were all coming and going. We loved the patio and enjoyed a wonderful brunch surrounded by the beauty of Kurt's gardens. We wish we could have taken an extra day to just relax and enjoy this perfect spot. This is the perfect house for several couples to enjoy and not feel like you're right on top of each other! Highly recommend it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this meticulous, light and bright home in the Chautauqua Park neighborhood of Boulder. The home's interior was spacious, open, and very pleasant. Every amenity one could desire for a vacation stay was to be found in the home. The owners took great care to prepare the home for our stay, and were very accommodating to us. The home's proximity to Chautauqua Park, CU, Pearl Street/downtown Boulder, and all of the fabulous nature that Boulder has to offer will definitely bring us back! Look no further for a gracious home within which to enjoy your time in Boulder.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

We are so pleased we chose Laura and Kurt's home to enjoy our wedding weekend that was simply enchanting. We hosted a reception the evening of our wedding and the accommodations were perfect for our small gathering of family and friends. The charming wrap around patio complete with several seating areas, large trees for privacy and running fountain were a hit for our guests not to mention the lovely open floor plan in the well appointed craftsman style home. You will not be disappointed with this property nestled close to the foothills of beautiful Boulder, CO.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
