We stayed at this property for 6 nights and it is very nice! It is fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen (blender, mixer, lots of dishes and pots & pans). You really don't need to bring anything. Laundry room was really nice to have and the house is very spacious. We were there to celebrate the holidays with our son & daughter-in-law, their little boy and their brand new baby girl. We had a great time walking on the beach - it is rustic but really beautiful and somewhat sad knowing the effects Hurricane Katrina had on that area. Would highly recommend this home as a get away vacation. Ocean Springs is a great town and there is so much to do in the area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We rented this cabin for the sole purpose of going to our son's wedding and we loved it!! The home was beautiful...no surprises!! It's a beautiful as the pictures you see. The location was beautiful however... I would not suggest it for someone looking to spend time on the beach. But for someone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world, it's certainly the place to be.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We love staying at our custom designed beach house, too! Views of the Gulf and bayou and even the Biloxi lights at night make special memories! Our twenty-six miles of natural beach is for people who like fishing, sea shell and rock collecting, crabbing and throwing shrimp nets, or walking in the sand at dawn or sunset and seeing flocks of pelicans or sheerwater birds soaring in the sky. It's not for surfing, but is perfect for waverunners, water skiing or boating! Glad you enjoyed your stay and congratulations to your son and family!

This was an absolutely wonderful place to spend time as family we were gettting in a few "last" days before my husband flew out for Afghanistan. We had plenty of room for all 7 of us, two families 4 adults , 2 teenagers and one tween. 4 of us girls& 3 guys my teenage son made a decision that he was glad to be an only child (the girls spend too much time in the bathroom(his words not mine) The furnishings were great and fit the area perfectly. We had plenty of kitchen space for everyone to fix their own. The beach is beautiful it is a natural beach (we loved it) but it is not the perfect place for those who love to swim in the ocean. The bayou was absolutely gorgeous as well we watched what we think was an alligator(not sure). If you are lucky enough to visit during one of natures wonderful light shows as we were, you definately have plenty of windows to view it from. It was a bitter sweet time for us, but the relaxed check in and easy access made it very comfortable to us. We appreciate the rental property manager and all she did to make our stay such a pleasure. This beach house and surrounding area is now part of a photo album that has made its way to Afghanistan. We plan to make this one of our first stops on our 30 day vacation that we will take when my husband returns. I hope all who read this will give them a call and go stay for a night or two guarantee you will be calling to see if you can rent it for just one more day at least I know we did.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: The Ocean Belle II is a family owned property across the road from Ocean Belle I. Our grandmother lived nearby in Biloxi so every summer we visited for family reunions at the beach and trips to New Orleans. We love the area and subsequently built a vacation beach house there among the oak trees alongside the Gulf so that we could fish, visit Ocean Springs, watch the sunsets and play golf nearby.
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Springs:
We decided to build a beach house on this property because my Dad loved the area. Our family plays golf and loves to shrimp and fish so it was a perfect combination. New Orleans is nearby and we like the Mardi Gras and Easter parades along with the amazing restaurants.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The unique characteristics include the incredible wild life that we have seen there - red foxes, flocks of brown pelicans, egrets and herons, schools of fish jumping out of the water, a large deep area of water at the mouth of the marsh for shrimping and boating, moss swaying from the magnolia trees, friendly neighbors, and local fruit markets to make fresh peach cobbler. We also go to the boat docks in Biloxi and buy shrimp directly from the boats' most recent catch. Then we peel and eat them while looking at the Gulf during a sunset! We love to buy paintings from local artists in Ocean Springs and visit the Walter Anderson museum.
