This is a corner condo on the first floor of the building. It is very near the heart of the Romantic District and is withing walking distance of most restaurants and nightlife. It was well mainltained and had all of the amenities you would have at home. I was especially impressed with the fact that there was an abundance of hot water for showering (not true for many places.) There was a convienient exit to the beach through the LaPlapa Restaurant. As for the restaurant, I felt it was extremely overpriced, the portions were small and the food was not that great. Other restaurants to visit: El Torito for ribs, Margaritaville for a tasty and diffierent kind of salsa (made right at your table) and good margaritas. We had a really good breakfast and cheap at Cuantes y Cuetes just down the street and right on the beach. Many locals eat there. As for fishing, see Ernie just around the corner from Cuantes y Cuetes. He took good care of us, the fishing was great and the price was the best in town. Overall, the condo was great, the owner was cordial and helpful, the location was very centrally located and the front desk people were very cooperative and helpful. There was some noise from the bars across the street till about 1:00 A.M. each night, but not that bad, and you are in the heart of town so it is sort of a trade-off. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.
