Hiking, cycling, golfing, water sports, and a lakefront casino are all within easy access of the cottage. Apex Mountain offering downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and alpine skiing is a 35-minute drive away.

About the owner: We purchased this little house in 2007 and completely refurbished it from top to bottom putting our carpentry skills and design talents to good use. We had moved to Penticton in 2005 and fell in love with the beauty of the Okanagan Valley. Our goal is to provide a relaxing and comfortable home with all the conveniences to make you feel at home. The compliment we most love to hear is; 'you thought of everything!' In December 2010, we became the first legally licensed vacation rental in Penticton.
Why the Owner Chose Penticton: We had always loved the little flat roofed houses that are common in this area so when this little house came up for sale on our street we purchased it for a rental. However after putting 6 months of work and money into it, we realized we wanted to share it with friends and family and others who would appreciate the work we had done. The house is a natural for a vacation rental as it is so close to the beach and downtown areas. For the first three years we offered our little vacation rental house just by word of mouth and since 2010 we have listed on VRBO which had been highly recommended to us.
