Convenient to Boone (20 min), Banner Elk (10 min), Blowing Rock (30 min), Valle Crucis (5 min) and Beech Mountain (15 min).

Year Purchased: 1998
We have been inviting guests to our cabin for around 12 years, and have made many friends who return year after year to enjoy our hospitality. This is our only cabin, located near our home, so we are always close by to ensure your holiday is enjoyable. Skiing, running, cycling, hiking, and being outdoors are passions of mine, and the cabin reflects this passion. We have an area to store and wash your mountain/road bike and other outdoor toys. We have a beautiful fire pit down by one of the streams for enjoyment under the stars by a campfire and there are minimal outside lights to allow for the best star gazing around.
Why the Owner Chose Valle Crucis
We chose to buy this cabin due to its location to our home, which is 100 yards away. We wanted originally to have a place for all of our visiting family but realized what a gem we had and turned it into a rental cabin in-between all the family that still uses the cabin.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The most telling benefit is the location, which is absolutely stunning. With two active creeks, surrounded by mountains, the flora and fauna, wildlife (turkey, deer, bear, wildcat, etc), a trail to the falls, fire ring down by the stream (wood provided), and the sounds of the woods, this place is gorgeous in all aspects. Many of the kids love to go "creeking", making dams, searching for salamanders, crawdads, etc.
