This place was perfect for our family vacation. We were just a few steps from the beach, but our kids were so content with the pool that it took some convincing to get them out of it. The pool is situated in a very private, sheltered part of the garden and was always a comfortable temperature for swimming. The property was clean,bright,and cheerful. We stayed here with another family and the layout gave us plenty of living space. The kitchen was well equipped and the furnishings were comfortable. I liked all the options for hanging out on the deck: patio table and chairs for eating, cushy chairs and coffee table for lounging,and even a hammock for napping. Best of all, the property owner is an extremely pleasant and helpful host.Recommended for: Families with young children

How to describe our superb experience...I will try. Our family of 8 including 4 generations; grandma, parents ( us ), kids, our grandson and including numerous friends....all coming and going during our stay. We had 'the most wonderful' 6 week stay at a very special place. The location is ideal; very close to all the neat shops and restrauants on the north end. The accomodations were very, very comfortable, spacious, and up-to-date. The wrap around deck was enjoyed every day and the pool/hot tub exceeded expectations. We appreciated the good phone reception and the internet/cable service were excellent with no interuptions. Maria's attention to comfort and detail was personal and special. We are very thankful we chose to stay here. Our best compliment is our commitment to come back !!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family (4 adults and 5 kids from ages 7 years to 7 months) stayed here for 2 weeks. It was our very first visit to AMI. Island was beautiful and this 3 bedroom house with pool/hot tub and deck was the perfect spot!! Location is awesome, truly a hidden treasure just few minutes walk to the beach, playgrounds, icecream shop, pier, etc!!!!! Awesome restaurants, small unique shops, bike rentals, free trolley service on the island, anything u need is all there with easy access. People here are so nice and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was cute, very spacious, comfortable, clean and well stocked with linens/kitchen items and very well maintained, both inside and out (especially the plantation around the house). Besides groceries you wont need a thing (Publix, CVS/Walgreens is quick drive). Maria, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. She was extremely nice and helpful and always answered our questions and provided everything we needed. She has 3 kids, so if you have kids, she has everything u woud need. Locations outside the island is a very short drive, in case you wanted a late night hangout (most places on the island close at 9pm). Lido beach is an awesome spot to visit. We felt at home, highly recommend this rental!!!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family spent the Thanksgiving Holiday at Maria's place this year and enjoyed it tremendously. Maria was great to work with and provide me with all the details I needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The location is great - just a walk to Pine Street and all the shops and to the bay side beach. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful...and heated! The house is very well stocked with all you need to make it a "home away from home". Very well decorated, too! Beds are extremely comfortable. The deck was great for our morning coffee and just visiting with family and enjoying the beautiful weather and bird watching....we will definitely be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing.

This house was perfect for our family--4 adults (my parents came with us) and 5 children. The bunk bed with the trundle bed meant there was plenty of space for the kids, and Maria had a pack n play for our toddler. We love the beach on Anna Maria, and my kids enjoyed the pool very much as well. We were walking distance to the pier and to a playground, which we went to several times. Maria made sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. It's a lovely home, nice big open area with the kitchen/dining/living area. Also, there's a deck that wraps around and we enjoyed grilling/eating out there. Highly recommended! Great price!Recommended for: Families with young children

The caption that states this is the best deal on the is.and couldn't be more true. We are a family of 8, six kids ranging from age 7 to 18. I was worried that it would be tight. It was so comfortable. The home is beautifully decorated. I cannot say enough about the kitchen,due to the fact that we are such a large family I have to cook aalmost very night. The kitchen is beautiful,but not only is it beautiful. It is so functional. I was able to cook with ease because of it being fully stocked the counter space was awesome. The master bedroom is so nice! The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in on a vacation (memory foam mattress!). The pool is beautiful the Tampa Bay Beach was wonderful. There are such cute ships right up the sweet. ( Vincenzo's and Cheryl's is palace to check out!) the house had ever amenity from sheets to towels to beach chairs. Great outdoor decks. Just beautiful! Last but certainly not least there is Maria. She is such a wonderful host. She's there if you need her,but knows how to make sure you have your privacy so you really feel like you re on vacation. She is so conciensous about making sure your stay is so comfortable. Enjoy your stay!,Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

I stayed at Maria's rental for a week during the summer of 2012. Her location on the island, ameneties and kindness during our stay really made our trip enjoyable. I have been coming to the island for many years and this rental is now the only place that we will stay from now on! Her wonderful pool and jacuzzi really made our stay extra special. Maria is a wonderful resource when we did not know what to do and she had many suggestions that were spot on to our needs. Her house was spotless and looked like it had never been stayed in. The big screen tv was also a plus with the cable options. Over the years I have stayed in many rentals and hotels and this was our favorite of them all! We just spent two amazinig weeks in this rental home And could not have been happier!!! Maria and her family were just wonderful host the house was extremely clean and was well equipped with high end appliances and everything we needed clean towels, sheets, beach chairs and umbrella.'s I could just go on... As far as location the best it is near the bay, beach, restaurants and of course shopping. This was are first time to Anna Maria Island and it will not be are last and I hope that Maria will have are home away from home available when we get there:) I give this vacation home 5 Stars!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great house clean beautifully furnished.Had everything you needed in it and more.Literally 2 minutes walk from the beach, a short stroll to Bean Point or any of the piers for fishing.Local shops and trolly stop were less than 5 minutes walk. House was big enough for us we were 3 adults and 2 teenagers and there was plenty space.Enormous flat screen tv was a big hit with the kids as was the outside living area with the adults. Pool was lovely and partly shaded in the afternoon and there was beach chairs and umbrellas and everything else you needed to take to the beach available. Have visited Anna maria several times but this is the house we hope to go back to next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Beautiful vacation home spotlessly clean. Some home owners state they provide home away from home facilities but Maria really does provide everything you could possibly need. This was the perfect place to relax and recharge our batteries, the pool and spa were an absolute bonus and I used them everyday. Maria and her family live upstairs, she is a wonderful host, non obtrusive but close by if you need her, like the morning I locked myself out. Her children are wonderfully behaved and we didn't hear any noise from them. The home is perfectly situated on the north end of the island only steps from the beach. This was not our first stay on the island and it will not be our last. We would definetly stay here again. Thank you Maria.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This was our first time to Anna Maria Island and we enjoyed the peacefulness and laid back atmosphere of the island. In addition to enjoying the beach and restaurants at Anna Maria, we found plenty to do in nearby Sarasota. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed including kitchenware, towels, TV, cable, movies, and DVD player. Maria was very accommodating and was available if we had any problems. The outdoor area was very private. When the beach was too cold we had the hot tub and pool to come home too. Thanks again Maria for a wonderful time!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I just returned from our visit to Anna Maria and we have never been more sad to have to leave a vacation spot. First I must say that Maria and her husband were extremely helpful and nice! The house had everything that we could have asked for and many things that I would have never thought to ask for. The bed was SUPER comfy. Because Maria's children are at school during the day, we always had the pool and spa to ourselves (not that we would have minded them enjoying it also). It was literally like having our own little resort! We could walk any time we wanted just across the street to the bay side beach, or take a little further walk or bike ride to the gulf side beach. We enjoyed many days, afternoons, and evenings at Bean Point, which is just up the street from the house. I had a very hard time deciding which house to choose for our vacation, and I must say that I am 100% sure that we made the best choice! This is a perfect getaway home for a couple or small family. Also, the price is very reasonable when compared to surrounding homes. This entire area is wonderful for vacationing. It is very laid back, not overly crowded, but there is plenty to do to keep you entertained. From deep sea fishing (ask Maria about Cortez Charters), to shopping, sunsets, swimming, boating, or visiting the surrounding islands, you are sure to have a wonderful relaxing trip! We enjoyed our visit and are looking forward to returning. Being near the beach and the historic Pier was great for watching sunsets. We enjoyed using the free trolley to explore the island. The condo was supplied with everything you needed,including beach towels for our use. Everything was spotless and cleverly decorated. TV,DVD and DVR were a real asset for those of us who don't want to miss our favorite TV shows. Swimming Pool and Hot Tub were clean and warm. We were close to everything, we could walk to most places, including resturants and other activities. Maria gave us our privacy but was a phone call away if we had a question.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
