  We've been here 10 days--do we have to leave? Someone will have to remove us by force. This is a beautiful, serene retreat steps from the ocean bluffs. We've loved it all--coffee in the mornings on the deck, long walks and hikes, tidepools and tennis, the Milky Way overhead at night, the family of foxes that trotted about in front of our deck each evening, deer and egrets, seals and whale spouts. And we've appreciated the well-stocked home, right down to the generous teapot that we've used at least 3 times a day. Thanks for the very special break! We had to reserve well in advance, but it was worth the wait. We'll return as soon as we can.

• A place of supreme serenity

  There is nothing better than sitting on the deck of the Seale house, with an uninterrupted view of the Pacific, listening to non-city sounds and breathing non-city air.. My family and I love this place and have returned year after year. The house is comfortable and stylish, with plenty of amenities. Flat-screen tv, cable, dvd, wireless internet are all there but who needs them when you can look out the window and see a doe and her two youngsters munching on the grasses in the meadow. The house is designed so that you have no awareness of neighbors so it seems as if it's your own private retreat. It's a lovely, peaceful place. In fact, I would like to be there right now!

  This is an amazing home. The view is absolutely breathtaking. My children and I stay here every summer and has become our summer home. Sitting in the hot tub, is so relaxing with the wonderful view of the ocean. No matter where you are in the house, you will always have some view of the relaxing ocean view. We love going for walks every day along the ocean front. Kitchen has everything we need. Town is near by for shopping and movie rentals. LOVE THIS HOME.

  I've stayed at Seale House several times and enjoyed every trip. The house and surrounding area are serene and beautiful with outstanding ocean views. The Cliff Trail, that's in your back yard, is my favorite hike anywhere. The golf course is beautiful. The surrounding towns have quaint shops and good food. Best vacation for me.

• The PERFECT Sea Ranch house.

  After renting many different houses at Sea Ranch in the past decade or so—Seale House remains my favorite. I come back again and again. The location—on a flag lot at the end of the street, is unparalleled. Once down the driveway, this modest home becomes a magical getaway. A secret place with wall-to-wall ocean views. While neighbors are on either side, the house is perfectly situated for total privacy. The views—its hard to leave the house, I’m not kidding. Sea Ranch is all about nature—and Seale House allows visitors perfect access to bluff trails and other hikes—the surf sounds are wonderful, the night sky perfect. The home is efficient, well cared for, updated-- two suites with bath, living and dining between them perfect for one or two couples. Or a family---I go alone or with my spouse and use the second bedroom for napping only. Good fireplace, nice hot tub, a great deck and a functional open kitchen ideal for group cooking and visiting. I hesitated to add a review…I don’t want anyone else to know about Seale House.
