Ours is a gorgeous furnished cabin in idyllic North Georgia mountains located just off highway 19/129 in close proximity to mountain towns (Blairsville, Helen, Dahlonega) several state parks (Vogel State Park), hiking trails, waterfalls (Amicalola, Anna Ruby, Desoto, Helton Creek) and other. The cabin is only 1-1/2 hours by road from the north Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta, GA and is at a ideal driving distance for a easy weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of metro-Atlanta.
Whether you want to turn off of your cell phone and just enjoy your entire weekend in private seclusion inside our cozy and comfortable cabin or you would like to get out and explore the North Georgia mountains, this cabin is perfectly appointed and situated. If you are the type that loves to travel in a group with friends and/or family, our cabin can accommodate and sleep 8 people easily.

We enjoyed our weekend with family at this cabin. The living area is so spacious and has plenty of sleeping accomodations. Quiet, peaceful, and great location!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin. The owners were very helpful and responsive from my first inquiry about the property through our return home. The location is beautiful and the cabin was well equipped for all our needs. Since tour visit was in the winter, it was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed walking around the property and enjoying the scenery. It was also convenient to waterfall hiking, a favorite activity. It was the perfect weekend away from the city, and we hope to return again! Thanks!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Overall very nice cabin. Owner was helpful and eager to ensure my stay was pleasent. The cabin was a little difficult to find, my satellite navigation system (Garmin 2012 version) kept trying to take me down a road that didn't exist any longer. But with a little common sense it was easy to figure out how to find the cabin. One minor issue is the water, the hot tubs would foam a little when the system was turned on, and there was what seemed to be sand reside after the tub drained.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

Cabin was very nice and well located. Owners furnished us with lots of local information. A larger tv would be nice with a channel guide from Direct TV, and we would like one or two comfortable chairs in the living room, but overall our experience was great and the owners furnished a lot of amenities, such as paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. A very nice, spacious cabin. The laundry area was not very convenient but there is a laundromat in Blairsville, which also has wi-fi. We would be happy to stay there again and recommend the cabin to friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The cabin was perfect for us! We had such a great time. We have a large family (5 kids) and we had plenty of room. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone. It was really cozy and homey -- we felt so comfortable. The hot tubs were really relaxing -- the smaller kids pretended it was a swimming pool :). We will definitely consider coming back -- maybe in the summer next time. One more thing to mention -- the owners are very responsive and helpful. They want to make sure you have a great stay. Everything was just like the listing described. The only main problem was the musty smell.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Very relaxing getaway cabin. It was very clean, secluded but yet easy to find. Perfect distance from local attractions. The jacuzi tub was a great way to relax after a full day of hiking and rafting. Why the Owner Chose Blairsville:
We had a friend whose Firm owned a cabin near Helton Creek Falls. We had spent many weekends in our friend's cabin over the years and since we enjoy so much all that the North Georgia mountains have to offer, we finally decided to buy a cabin not too far from Helton Creek Falls as our weekend getaway.
