This vacation rental property has so much to offer! A beautiful custom built home, this property has all the details you'd expect in a luxurious residence.Granite counter tops, travertine tile, custom wood work, and beautiful lighting throughout the property make this vacation home feel like a true retreat. The home sits in a gated community with plenty of parking. The house is three stories with five decks with outdoor furniture for lounging in the Gulf Coast breezes. The living space is very comfortable with satellite TV and big comfy furniture. The kitchen has everything you need: fridge, microwave, stove, pantry, dishwasher and full set cooking utensils - including crock pot, electric griddle, blender and coffee maker. A Publix grocery store is a five minute drive away.
There are five bedrooms. The huge master bedroom downstairs has a queen bed and a walk in glass shower with three nozzle heads. The second floor has three bedrooms. The master features a king size bed with a private deck and large walk in closet and large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and walk in glass shower. The other two bedrooms have a queen size bed and two twin beds. Each has access to the shared deck. A full bathroom is located in the hallway.
The third story has view of the ocean and great deck. We call this 'The Crow's Nest'. It is decorated in true 'pirate ship' style, with sleeping bunks and a mini kitchen. There is also a TV and DVD player. Its a great place for kids to play and sleep.
A hot tub is on the back deck. The backyard fronts a state forest so the privacy is great.
The beach is fantastic - it has rolling sand dunes and plenty of places to set up a tent or lay out and enjoy the sun. The beach is private so it is never crowded. A boardwalk goes from the neighborhood to the ocean. It is a ten minute walk to the ocean from the house.
A club house is close to the house. It has a large pool and exercise room with table tennis. There are also two tennis courts. There is another club house and pool on the other side of the neighborhood.
The area where the beach house is located is perfect, with biking and hot tourist spots like Seaside nearby. Destin and Panama City are both within a short drive with fantastic shopping and other attractions.

This beautiful and spacious home was perfect for our girls' weekend getaway! There was plenty of room to spread out, and a comfortable area to sit and talk for hours. We didn't use the hot tub, but it is a nice addition to the place. This property is down the street from the center of the old Grayton area, but is perfect if you are looking for a bit a tranquility and quiet. We look forward to staying in Karen and Drew's lovely home again..... Next trip will be with the family!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family had a great time staying at the house! We loved that it was close enough to the touristy areas, such as Destin where you can parasail, snorkel, and jet ski, yet far enough away that it was peaceful, quiet, and not congested. Having the pool and fitness room next door was a huge plus. With young children in our group, we preferred to drive to the beach rather than walk, but we've discussed renting a golf cart for our next stay. The house itself was perfect! It was so spacious, and everyone loved having their own space, especially the balconies. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at home, including an outdoor grill. The bathrooms were all stocked with towels and all other linens we needed were provided. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a day on the beach or working out. We definitely recommend this gorgeous house to anyone looking for a roomy house close to the beach yet away from the busy touristy areas. Me and 10 of my girl friends stayed here for my bachelorette party. The girls flew in from all over the country and had never seen Grayton Beach or any of the surrounding areas. They were absolutely in love with everything about our stay. Being that there were 11 of us, we blew a fuse while trying to get ready, the owner was so quick to respond to us and tell us how to mend the problem. She was always available for every question I had. I travel A LOT and can honestly say this was as close to perfect as it gets. I could even say it really was perfect. Each room has a lot of space, the bathrooms are big for getting ready and the upstairs is great, especially for kids. The place was decorated beautifully. We were close enough to walk to a few locations and the walk to the beach wasn't bad. The beach is across the street, but anywhere you go in this area, you will have to walk a bit to get to beach. It's a gated community and all the surroundings are gorgeous as well. I most certainly would rent here again, and hope I have the opportunity. My sincerest gratitude to you for letting us enjoy your paradise!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay at the Grayton Beach home was wonderful. The house fit our family perfectly, with room to spare. We loved the privacy of the home, the hot tub in back, and the wide beach. We rented bikes during our stay which, while not necessary, made the trip to the beach a lovely, relaxing adventure- not to mention made exploring the area so much fun. The pools at the complex were very nice and clean (even the bathrooms!) Our children enjoyed having the option of the pool and the beach. I could go on and on. We cannot wait to come again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Karen, Thank you so very much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful beach home! We had a great time! We hope to make a tradition at your beach house each October. Our friends all said, "that they would always celebrate our wedding anniversary with us there!" The weather was absolutely beautiful. Our family of 12 just returned from a week's stay in this fantastic house! It was perfect for us; two sons have babies, so the 2 large master suites were just right for them. The walk to the beach was negligible, though we did prefer driving to the pool parking area or riding bikes there and walking the very comfortable boardwalk to the beach (house to beach: 1/2 mile.) It would be nice if there was a bike rack at the pool. The kitchen was a little understocked; we had to buy large bowls (we left them for the next folks) and just made do with the pots (spaghetti for 12 requires a big pot!) And no internet was a little inconvenient. But that was low on the list in contrast to how pleased we were with the house itself. We would definitely recommend it to friends and relatives!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

It was awesome! The house was really beautiful and the beach was the prettiest I've ever seen. I really liked that it was a private beach, so there weren't very many people there. The pool and pool house were lovely and well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet, family oriented. I would recommend it, and would definitely want to go back.Did you find this review helpful? Why the Owner Chose Grayton Beach:
The beach at Grayton is so much bigger and more beautiful than the crowded beaches nearby. Once we saw that fantastic beach, we knew we had to call this place home! The house is near Seaside and Watercolor and in a great location for fun in the sun. Destin is about a 15 minute drive, Panama City about 20 minutes. We loved how the house adjoins the state forest so we have plenty of privacy. There is excitement and activity, or there is quiet and relaxation.
