  We had an amazing vacation staying at this gorgeous home! Decorated beautifully; it was the epitome of island living!! We had thriteen people and never felt like we were crammped. The open floor plan is wonderful and the game room kept the younger kids fully entertained! We also took advantage of the property golf cart, which isn't offered at other rentals. We would count this as one of our favorite vacations and will come back to this island getaway as soon as possible.

  We had a wonderul experience. There were 15 of us and the house had plenty of room. It is an easy walk to the beach. There are great tidal pools for little kids at the 6th street entrance to the beach. The golf csrt was great for hauling all the beach gear. The kids loved the pool. I would highly recommend this property

  We recently rented this home for an large family vacation. 11 of us in total all had a wonderful time. The large diing area was perfect for our large group to enjoy meals together. All the kids loved the golf cart, game room and pool. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner as he stopped by. He was very generous with his time and offered several suggestions for things to do. We enjoyed the close beach access and the quick trip to historic Charleston. This home was beautiful and had a great location for the many activities available. We found the "to-do" book especially useful. Whatever your age or interest this home either offers it or is located very near it. I would definetly recommend this to others and hope to return next year! One suggest, a cart or beach wagon to drag stuff back and forth would be very handy.

  We rented this home for my father’s 60th birthday. We had eight adults and two children, and were accommodated quite well during our stay. Initially, the layout was a little tricky for our family, but we made it work just fine. [For reference, there are three queen bedrooms on the first floor (common bathroom attached to first bedroom, jack-and-jill bathroom between other two rooms); the Master, other two remaining bedrooms, and bathroom were on the top floor.] We were grateful when we arrived that the home was accurately portrayed on the website- nicely decorated and clean. The game room was a hit with our family as well! Additionally, it was great to be able to share meals together with the open concept kitchen/dining space, and room to seat our entire family at the table. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach and local shops. We also encountered a few issues during our stay; however, the property manager and owner were both readily available to provide assistance, which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend this home to other families looking to vacation to IOP, as overall we were very pleased with it during our stay.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  We rented this property for my son's wedding... Lovely property..clean and comfortable..the goft cart was a great help going to the beach.. minor problems with small applicances and electronic outlets working..the game room upstairs was well apprecited by all.. If we need another place to handle 14, even with only 4 bathrooms, we will be renting this property again!

  I rented this beautiful home for the weekend of my nephew's wedding. We had 13 family members comfortably settled into this house. The bedrooms are well separated from each other. The house was clean and in good condition. Kitchen was stocked with pleanty of dishes for a crowd. Appliances all worked well. Plenty of towels. We did run out of hot water when all 13 of us showered before departing to the wedding (understandable). The house is bright, cheery and well-decorated. Comfortable seating on the deck and around the pool. Good views from the roof-top deck. We enjoyed the pool table and riding the electric golf cart. It's a short 2 block walk to the beach. And a 5 minute walk into the little village with shops and casual restaurants. A full size mall with everything you would need is just a 5 minute drive away. The website pictures and descriptions were accurate. John Beall was very helpful.
