There's a beautiful pavilion built 2008 with rest rooms and a staffed bbq restaurant at the Old Coast Guard Station, and about 300 parking spaces, all free. Or, enjoy the pool at the condo (closed in cool weather months). This clean well maintained condo with pool/tennis set among huge live oaks is the best location on the island to anything you want to do. Our retired master carpenter handyman works a monthly punch list to keep our place in great shape. It's a short walk or bike ride (7 free cruiser bikes on your patio) up the sidewalk to the beach at the Old Coast Guard Station (public white powdery sand swimming beach, about 300 yards wide, gets deep very gradually, drive and park in free public parking lot if you don't care to walk). This is also close to Massengale Park, a beachfront public park on Ocean Boulevard with swings, big shade trees, grills, and picnic tables.
Please note "East Beach" is the island's swimming beach, about 300 yards wide, where you can walk for miles any time of year. This townhouse condo is close to King and Prince and all the restaurants there, and close to the Village area. Bikes are included(helmets not provided).
A reserved marked parking space is just 25 feet from your door. Four queens in bedrooms, plus a twin rollaway, one full bath upstairs, half bath downstairs, all linens, towels, cookware furnished. A charcoal grill and two wrought iron tables and 6 chairs (and the 7 bikes) are on your patio. No pets or smoking indoors.

We have stayed at this condo 2 times now and it has not disappointed. Even better now with several nice upgrades (new TVs, bikes, ceramic tile, etc). Great location on SSI and can go by bike virtually anywhere we needed. The condo is clean and fully outfitted to cook if you want to eat in. Access to pool, tennis, ping pong, and laundry are a definite plus. We love SSI and will come back to this place. We would recommend to anyone as it is also a super value!

My mother and three sisters enjoyed 3 nights on St. Simon's Island the end of April. We had a wonderful time and made memories that will last forever. We visited the lighthouse on St. Simons Island and the Lighthouse on Jekyll Island. Our favorite excursion involved tracking down the carved sea spirits on the island. The condo was as described. Thank you for providing such a lovely place for us to visit!!

Staying at this condo was wonderful. The owner put lots of consideration to make this a home away from home. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. A very nice location, safe and secure, clean, family oriented and quiet. No surprises or disappointments with this selection. Be sure to bring a bike lock so you can enjoy riding to the beach and the village. Will definitely return to this condo and highly recommend this property. It was a great, easy drive to this quiet get away, and we enjoyed our stay greatly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks on St. Simons! The condo was very comfortable and very, very clean. We really like the attractive tile floors which are easy to keep clean of sand and such (no skeevy, damp carpet). The kitchen and especially the fridge were very clean upon arrival and included a few basic items (salt and pepper, sugar and such) which was nice. The owner was wonderful to deal with, offering great recommendations and responding immediately to questions. Working internet is very important to us for work reasons and it worked perfectly. The accommodations are similar to what we experienced at The Beach Club but it's half the price. You aren't right on the beach, but it's a three minute drive to East Beach (you could easily walk, but we had too much stuff!). You cannot beat it for the price! Our only disappointment was that the tennis court wasn't available, but that is apparently because they are about to renovate them. Plus there are public courts pretty close by. Be sure to go to Savannah for a tour and to eat at Mrs. Wilke's. On the island, our favorite restaurants are Blackwater (shrimp and grits), Barbara Jean's (Southern comfort food) and Sal's (fabulous pizza).

Just wanted to note how helpful the owner was in assisting us with a St. Simons rental. His condo was booked for the week we needed but he offered up some suggestions and we were able to get a place for the week we wanted. We will definitely check back on this place when we visit again.

We had a great time. It was nice and clean, quiet, close to the beach. My two teenagers enjoyed the bikes very much. They rode them to the beach. We had an awesome time.
