Welcome to the "Grand View", the best unobstructed view in Surfside! The design of the Grand View ensures that not so much as a kite will come between you and the beach, as it was positioned on an angle overlooking the dunes (and the sunrise), a feature unique in Surfside.
The house was constructed in 2004 with one intention: comfort. It offers a spacious living area and fully equipped kitchen with premium appliances, an extra large Master Bedroom with King size bed & Master Bath. The downstairs guest bedroom has a full size bed and bathroom. The upstairs (arguably the best view of the house) serves as an air-conditioned bedroom-tower overlooking Surfside, the Intercoastal Waterway, endless marshes and our beautiful beach. "The Lookout" has a bunk bed, a day bed and full size bed - a great place for kids or a 2nd family. There are Satellite TVs in the Master bedroom and Big Screen in the living room equipped with DVD/VCR/Stereo.
From the living room you can look out to the ocean, across a 50x14 covered deck (Bring your hammocks!), just a few steps from our 2 picnic tables (seats 16) and private shower, all covered. From downstairs it is a short walk over the dunes on the beach walkover to the beautiful Surfside beach, which we hope you will come to love (and respect) as much as we do. So please, make yourselves at home and share the joy that is indisputably the Grand View.

WE HAD A GOOD TIME AND THE HOUSE WAS REALLY NICE.THE OWNER WAS NICE ALSO.WE HAD A GREAT VIEW FORM OUR FRONT DECK AND A SHORT WALK OVER TO THE BEACH.I DO SUGGEST TO TAKE A COUPLE OF SKILLETS WITH YOU BECAUSE THE PLACE IS BEING RENTED OUT SO YOU CAN NOT EXPECT THEM TO BE REALLY IN GREAT SHAPE. WE TOOK EXTRA LINNENS AND WE ONLY MADE ONE TRIP TO THE LAUNDRY.PIER 30 HAS EXCELLANT BOUDAN BALLS,BURGERS ( BETTER IN DAYTIME-)-RED SNAPPER IN HAS EXELLANT FOOD.I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.THE SECURITY ON THE BEACH ON THE DAYS LEADING UP TO THE FOURTH OF JULY WAS ALSO EXCELLANT.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Surfside Beach:
The reasons we landed the idea to build in Surfside are simple enough. Unlike the Jettied, most frequently brown-water Galveston, Surfside has an open-to-the-public drive on beach which most often is a border to a green ocean and blue skies. We are surfers, the Siegel family, and no beach for 8 hours can compare in respect of waves. Unlike Bolivar Peninsula or Galveston, Surfside is a family beach, where partying is kept under control by the very present police force (buckle up, don't speed!) whom will be glad to handle any disputes that may arise. Most importantly, Surfside was the community we picked to relax in.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Surfside is home to one Jetty, roughly a mile long, which constantly hosts fishermen, families, strollers and surfers. From our home you can see the Intercoastal waterway (ICX) which is nearly guaranteed calm water for water sports or fishing (for the best beachfront fishing contact me after rental, secrets free of charge). The beach in front of the house (last entrance in Surfside, NE side) is public and is open to campfires or fireworks or horseshoes or washers or volleyball or football or simply relaxing.
