  Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff I interacted with were all great! The property, however, was lacking. Here were a few of our concerns: -Maintenance was very poor i.e. towel racks and TP holders kept falling off. -The grill was so dirty that we had to clean it for 30 minutes before we could use it. Even after this elbow grease, it was pretty nasty. -The back yard had not been cleaned for some time. -The neighbors have VERY large dogs that barked when the owners left. -We had to keep the blinds closed in the living room because the neighbor's yard was right below the window- and the yard was COVERED in dog ****. -Although the house sleeps 8+, the common area is too small for groups of more than four or five. -The house shows a lot of wear. I should note that the location of this property is decent. Not my favorite part of the city, but it is nice for families.

  Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed the stay. The floor plan was perfect for a family with tweens and teens. No room in the garage for the minivan, but driveway was always available. We walked to several spots, but definitely needed the car to see the sites in the city. Great break from the extreme summer heat! Manager responded on 7/24/2012: Hello Leslie! Thank you so much for your review. The Northwesterner is an ideal get away and family spot. You are so right! It is hard to find homes in Seattle that have a garage, let alone one that will fit anything larger than a mini car! Thank goodness for the available driveway. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at the Northwesterner. It is in such a convenient area with so many things within walkin distance. I must say though this second time I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area. There is a need to update some of the utensils - new can opener please. The dining table and extra leaves were sticky.

There were only 2 of us, plenty of room for a few more. Only suggestion, extra towels.

  Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I used to live two blocks from this house and love the Ballard area. This is a good place to stay with a family, friends, or even just on your own. Parking is really limited, though. And, the dishwasher was broken on this trip. Overall though, definitely recommend this place and anything else Sea 2 Sky has to offer.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don't plan on parking in the garage. We had a standard car and it drove right into the garage with about an inch for the door to close but backing out was a trial. The neighbor in one of the attached houses says the garages are big enough for storage! He is right. Dishwasher didn't work and the washing machine screamed. Can't use the fireplace unless you move the two chairs on either side because the leather(not!) gets very hot!!! It is hard to find a place for them. It was very convenient for us. We had a wedding in Ballard and we could walk to the venue. It was clean.

  Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE stayed at the Northwesterner Townhouse on the Labor Day weekend for my son's wedding in Ballard. There is 1 parking space in the garage. We had 3 cars and numerous vistors as this was headquarters for all of the groom's family. We had to park all cars about 3 to 5 blocks form the condo. If we unloaded in front of the garage for 10 minutes, the neighbors immediately complained. The adjacent neighbor has a garage but he always parked in front of his condo entrance making getting our 7 passenger rental van hard to get into our garage. We had no garage door opener but the Sea to Sky people immediately brought one over, Thank you. We also had no way to change channels on the big flat screen TV in the lower bedroom as that required a "Comcast" remote. So every time you want to change the channel you had to walk upstairs and borrow the Comcast remote from the living room TV. Sea to Sky had no fix for that problem. For a cost of $350 per night you should buy a remote. Otherwise the place was great for our 6 guests and baby.
