This charming two level home, with its light & airy atmosphere, offers a relaxed and cozy setting on top of sunny Park Hill. Moonstone Beach, Shamel Park & the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve are all within easy walking distance. The house itself offers a large & comfortable living/dining area with pitched ceilings, lots of windows & a gas free standing fireplace. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with queen size beds & 2 full baths. In addition, there is a sitting room/loft area located off the master bedroom that has its own deck with views to the pretty backyard area. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave & dishwasher has everything you need for those times you prefer dining in. Outfitted with TV/VCR/DVD and Satellite TV, CD/Tape/Radio/Stereo player as well as wireless broadband internet. This home also features a private garden, three decks, garage, Weber charcoal BBQ & a washer/dryer.
Pelican Cottage is a quiet retreat that will allow you to enjoy the beauty of Cambria. Walk on the beach, stroll along the bluff trail & see local wildlife or enjoy the tranquility of your immediate surroundings at the home itself. It is also easy to catch the local "Otter Trolley" into the Village of Cambria for shopping, dining or just getting to know our beautiful coastal community. Hearst Castle is within a 15 minute drive of the house, as well as the Elephant Seal Viewing areas that are very popular for visitors as well as local residents. Enjoy sampling some of the local award winning wines located close by in the Paso Robles Wine Region or explore the other coastal towns of Cayucos and Morro Bay. We had such a great couples' weekend getaway at the Pelican Cottage! The house was homey and immaculate and full of great amenites. And the location was perfect; right down the street from the beach and a stone's throw from downtown Cambria. We all had such a wonderful time exploring the town and the coast all around. We would DEFINITELY stay at Pelican Cottage again and hope to soon!! Thanks for everything!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

My spouse and I rented the house during the last two weeks of July 2012. The home was just as represented; it was clean and well stocked with kitchen items and sundries. We would definitely rent this house again. The home would comfortably accommodate 4 guests.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

Pelican Cottage was an excellent rental experience. Website pictures are very accurate. It was very clean and spacious for four of us. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We especially enjoyed the location which is easy walking distance to Moonstone Beach and Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. We walked a lot and really enjoyed the marine life as viewed from Fiscalini Ranch, including dolphins, seals, sea lions, otters, pelicans and more!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We loved this charming beach home! It's a perfect place to relax & refresh. Very comfortable and nicely appointed,...you can tell a lot of care & love have been given to the home. We enjoyed walks on the boardwalk at Moonstone Beach, visited several local wineries & dined at the Hamlet Restaurant @ Moonstone Gardens & the Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill. What a comfortable & welcoming home! Upstairs sunroom & shower are delightful spaces & the kitchen is well-equipped. We had a wonderful time relaxing and de-stressing.
