Looking for a family escape to spectacular views on the shores of Lake Placid, but still easy access to sightseeing, restaurants, shopping, and skiing? Welcome to Camp Agerondak. This property has been in the Ager family for over 40 years. Camp Agerondak is located a short drive to the end of Brewster Peninsula on the shores of Lake Placid across from Kate Smith's historic Camp Sunshine.
The main house sleeps eight and features four bedrooms (2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds and 2 bedrooms with king bed in each), two full baths, lake facing deck, large stone fireplace, kitchen and a hot tub (seasonal)*** overlooking Lake Placid and the Adirondack Mountains. Also included is cable TV and high speed internet.
The log cabin sleeps nine and includes three bedrooms (1 with a queen bed, 1 with 2 twins, 1 with 3 twins, and a fold-a-bed in the living room), full bath, and a 3/4 bath, stone fireplace, cable TV, and lake facing deck.
Our boathouse** great room overlooking the lake sleeps at least four (a bunk bed, a king bed and a cot is available) with a brick fireplace, flat screen TV, foosball table and 3/4 bath. Also available to our guests are three sea kayaks, a canoe, a rowboat, and a sailboat. The boathouse has a dock with a slip for a guest's boat. There is a shallow play area and a small beach at the boathouse and there is an additional dock on the other side of the property with a shallow swim area for kids.
Also located on the property is a fire pit with benches, hammock that overlooks the lake and numerous Adirondack chairs located wherever you want to take in beauty of the lake.
*Camp Agerondak's main house and cabin are heated for year round rentals; the boathouse is closed between November and April. In the summer months our our camp requires a Monday to Monday rental week.

The yard is very large and the grass goes right to the sandy area/lake where kids can play and adults can watch from either the picnic area, house or one of the two docks on the property. There are kayaks and a horseshoe pit on the property for your use.
