  MAJESTIC STAY - We planned on just having a cabin but this was much more. It was very well equipped, decorated and comfortable. Our thoughts were to go out at night for dinner but no one wanted to leave so we stayed in, cooked and enjoyed the cabin as well as the outside firepit area, kids swing and peaceful surroundings. Everyone completely stepped out of their normal routine to relax, enjoy and shares times as a family. This place will become a tradition for several years to follow. Being an owner of two VRBO in Waynesville and Maggie Valley, I can tell you that this a "Go and Rent" - You will Enjoy.

  What a great vacation. Our family of four and another couple spent four days in the main cabin. We loved riding bikes on the fantastic paved trail system around Boulder Junction. The scenery is out of a movie. The main cabin is squeaky clean and well stocked. They have out more personal items than I have seen at other VRBOs, but they weren't in our way. The loft would be perfect for tween/teen kids, as you access it through a ladder in the ceiling. It didn't work for our little ones, but the master bedroom was big enough to easily put up two kiddie cots. The "crib" listed is actually a toddler cot, and we brought a camping cot with us. The deer feeder was popular with us and the deer. The cabin is not on a lake, which made it possible for the adults to sit in chairs while the kids ran around without danger of drowning. The property is so picturesque, we didn't miss the water. Book with confidence and enjoy your trip!

  We had a wonderful vacation with our family. Very quiet and well maintained cabin. We have four children and they enjoyed the location close to beautiful beach for swimming and boating. All of us enjoyed the privacy and the deer that would come to feed each day.

  Thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Well-appointed, and very glad the guest house was available to spread out (5 adults). Clean and well-maintained. Enjoyed seeing the 4-legged "neighbors".

  My husband and I rented the cabin in June. The cabin is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The property is very private and views from the cabin are amazing. We spent a very restful, relaxing week hiking, biking and shopping in the nearby towns. Boulder Junction is a very nice town, big enough for shopping and dining but not too touristy. There are hundreds of lakes in the area. We spent a day on a nearby lake with Bob, the local fishing guide. Had a great time catching perch and bluegill.

  A group of four of us decided to go to Boulder Junction, a small town we are familiar with, to celebrate 2011 with days of snowmobiling and nights near the fire. This cabin far exceeded our expectations. It's the perfect size for two couples plus 2 kids, and the inhabitants of the master bedroom are lavished with a mini in-room fireplace and expansive bathroom. Impeccably clean, it contains all of the amenities anyone would ever need. Instructions for the house are very clear and very low maintenance. Gorgeous tree views make this a fantastic vacation rental. We can't wait to come back in the summer!

  My wife and I stayed at this cabin with our two daughters (4yrs and 2 yrs). We had the best vacation we've probably ever had. The cabin is extremely nice, and it's close to a lot of great things to do. We hiked on the Trout Lake nature trail, and swam at Crystal Lake (the beach there is perfect). We also spent a significant amount of time in Boulder Junction, shopping, eating, and dancing at a festival that was going on. All of this was a few minutes from the cabin. The cabin is also pretty close to Minocqua, WI, where we spent one day (we enjoyed the park, lake-front, arts/crafts fair, and German beer garden!). At the cabin we roasted marshmallows in the fire and we even got to see a mother deer and her baby up-close at the feeding trough. We quite honestly experienced a level of rest and peace that we haven't had in a long time. We highly recommend this cabin.

  We enjoyed the rustic elegance and creature comforts. Great place to unwind and rest! Spent a lot of time in front of the wood stove one fall and summer is great for lake activities. Good walking on the quiet roads and town is not far for a meal out or shopping. We plan to go back.
