Coconuts Cottage is a two bedroom, one bath cottage nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Sea of Abaco. The house is just 150 yards from miles of beautiful white sand beaches and the third largest barrier reef in the world. The cottage is located on peaceful Great Guana Cay, Abaco, an island community in the Bahamas made up of about 150 permanent residents.
Coconuts Cottage is an easy walk to the settlement, a tiny village with shops, restaurants, a fish market, fruit stand, and a fig tree in the town square. Guana Cay local hot spots include Nippers Beach Bar and Grill, Dolphin Beach Resort, Guana Seaside Village and Orchid Bay Marina.
Coconuts cottage is equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans in each room, a TV,VCR,CD player, VHF Radio, Brand New Weber BBQ grill, and a large outdoor wrap around deck with an extra outdoor hot water shower.
The full kitchen is loaded with a spice cupboard, blender, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and local island Bahamas cookbooks. Extra comforts include a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis water making system, batiked bed linens, beach towels, baby equipment, toys, CD library, videotape library, board games, guidebooks, water charts, maps, novels and books for children and adults.
The cottage is decorated with many island handicrafts, Bahamian art and a colorful Caribbean style for a unique tropical vacation setting. Coconuts cottage is owned by the Collinson family, Scott, Tammy and their three children. They have enjoyed creating this casual and comfortable home where vacation memories can be created for their family and yours.
