Once you arrive, you will quickly see why we fell in love with the sea lovers playground and chose to build a home here. The laid-back feeling of the island and its people is contagious. The glory of the sun and the sea will both exhilarate and relax you. There are 365 beaches in Puerto Rico, one for every day of the year, and one perfect for whatever water sport you choose to participate in.
What to do when you are at our house!: Be sure to visit the areas most famous beaches of Jobos, Shacks, and Sardinera in Isabela, Crashboat in Aguadilla, and the beaches of Rincon, all within a five to thirty minute drive. Jobos is a world famous surfing beach, Shacks is known for the underwater caves and a great area for snorkeling or scuba diving, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Playa Sardinera is great for boogie boarding, while Crashboat in Aguadilla is perfect for swimming or boogie boarding and Rincon for surfing.

You don't like water??: Porta Del Sol (Western Puerto Rico) is full of opportunities for outdoor adventures. There are many beach activities to choose from for the sun and water lover. If you prefer land to sea, there are many hiking, biking and sightseeing opportunities as well.
Just a short drive from our home you can go horseback riding on the beach at Tropical Trail Rides take a hike in the Guajataca forest, explore the underground Rio Camuy Cave Park, or visit the Arecibo Observatory. The nearby Punta Borinquen golf course offers spectacular ocean views as you play along the 18 holes.
Be sure to venture out by car and visit neighboring communities and shop area flea markets for local fruit and vegetables and hand made crafts. Take part in the local culture at the various annual festivals throughout the island. There is something different to do everyday!
And what about shopping and evening activities? : We are located close to shopping malls, outlet malls and major chains such as WalMart, Kmart, Walgreens all nearby as well as several local grocery stores to choose from. You will definitely want to try the neighborhood bakeries with fresh donuts and pastries and deli counters, (they just don’t have shops like this in the U.S. anymore) and if you see those road side stands selling fresh fruit and vegetables – be sure to give them a try too. You won’t find better produce in any of the stores.
For your evening entertainment - there are local restaurants and clubs within a short drive from our home. We provide you with a listing of area restaurants, with our personal recommendations! There are movie theatres with first run films, or rent a movie. Stayed here for two weeks, had a wonderful time. The listing is very accurate: beautiful new home, close to some very nice beaches (and a wonderful bakery just minutes away). Enjoyed sitting on the balcony every night enjoying the ocean breeze, the coqui, and a fresh pina colada!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

My work team and I (total of 9) stayed at this beautiful home March 14th-18th 2013 and had an absolutely wonderful time. We traveled from San Juan International which was quite a distance away from the home. My recommendation is that if you are coming in from SJ airport travel in on the weekend or in the late evening to avoid the traffic. If traveling on the weekend the drive is only about an hour and a half not bad at all. The home is situated in a nice quiet section of Isabella right outside of Aquadilla. Very close to a walmart and many eateries. Best part of the location of the home are the beaches nearby. We found some really great uncrowded beaches that are very beautiful. The home itself is wonderful. The pictures really don't do it justice. The rooms are spacious and the multiple living rooms added more than enough room for everyone. The second floor patio is a very nice touch to the house as well. As for amenities everything you we needed was provided. The temperature in PR was around 85-89 while we were there and the house maintained a very nice cool and moderate temperature consistently without the use of the AC. Overall my team and I would highly recommend this amazing house to anyone. Working with Ayn (owner) and Luis (housekeeper) was easy and they are both extremely accommodating.Owner response: I am so happy that you all enjoyed my home and that it EXCEEDED your expectations. I have always told prospective guests, it will be as good as the pictures if not better. I think it means so much more coming from a guest saying that they had that experience in my home. I hope you will return to Isabela, and I hope you will return as my guest!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa de Paraisio for 5 nites. The house is as beautiful as the pictures indicate, inside and out.It is well maintained, very clean, and has that "homey " feel the moment you walk in the door.As the owner says you dont need to bring anything but clothes and food, everything is there. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood but just a few minutes from just about anything.Beautiful beaches, classy restaurants on and off the beach, roadside stands, shopping, you name it,its pretty close. We took a couple day trips,to the mountains, scuba diving, flea market, theres a lot more to do than 5 days will allow.Another thing we enjoyed was getting fresh fish and big lobsters at the fish market and grilling "at home".We found the locals very friendly and helpful which just made an enjoyable trip that much better.Probably my best memory is going to bed at nite, windows open, breeze from the ocean and the coquis(tree frogs) singing. We had a lot of relaxing fun on this trip and this home away from home was everything the owner says it is.In fact, our whole trip went so well, and I should add we did not go there with plans of doing it,but we ended up buying a place of our own.Thats how much we liked it.Did you find this review helpful? My husband and I have known the owners of this vacation home for many years, this was our second time staying here. I enjoyed it so much when we went in December 2010 that we knew some day we would be back. So for our next trip we invited three other couples. There was plenty of room for us to all move about in the four bedroom home. There was lots to keep us busy in this location. We visited a different beach almost every day. We drove to the far west of the Island to Rincon where there is many things to do, like parasailing, fishing, eating great food, and watching the sun set. A couple of the other beaches we went to were Crashboat and Jobos both of these beaches are just a short drive from the house. I loved that about staying here, you are not stuck on a resort. You can go to the grocery and stay in to dine or eat out. Great Bakeries! Well talking about now has made me want to go back again. So I hope everyone who visits this great vacation home has as much fun as we all did. Thanks Sean and MarciDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Casa de Paraiso was a home away from home! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The setting secure and close to stores, beaches (good snorkeling) and fun activities. (Our adult children went ziplining and had a blast!) We selected this home because of its proximity to Villa Montana (where my niece was getting married) and for the 8 of us- it was far more economical and allowed us to stay the entire week!) The convenience of having beach equipment (chairs, towels and toys) was super, and the detailed information that Ayn provided about local sites was very helpful. Ayn was very responsive and provided super customer service- we had a minor glitch on the night we arrived (no power- 1st time this had happened-not her fault) and her caretaker worked tirelessly to get the power turned back on. Ayn even offered to pay for our stay in a hotel in the meantime! (We opted not to do that- bought candles- it was like a camping adventure:) And, later Ayn refunded us one night's stay for the inconvenience!! This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and we just scratched the surface. We look forward to our return and would without hesitation, select Casa de Paraiso again.Did you find this review helpful? My family and I stayed here for five days and really enjoyed the house. The location is great. Near the bakery and 5 minutes away from Jobos Beach. The location was safe and quiet. The house is true to it's pictures you see above. Everyone in my family felt very comfortable and at home. I would stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed Feb. 1 - Feb. 8th, 2008. It was our wedding, and the house was perfect to accomadate our big family. The view is beautiful and in a great location near town. We had so much fun and wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was well maintained and clean! Definitely would stay again when I go back. Ortiz - Langanki FamilyDid you find this review helpful? On August 2007 I stayed at The Casa de Paraiso for a week. It was a wonderful experience. I've been to Puerto Rico 5 times in my life, but this 6th time was trully amazing and I had the most fun. Starting of with Tropical Trails, my 5 girls were drilled to ride their own horse for the first time. The weather was beautiful and the AC in the house was perfect. I went to the beaches, Las Cascadas in Aguadilla and the Ice Skating Arena. We had tons of fun. The house was perfect size to accomodate all 7 of us. We played games at night and even played hide and seek. The best thing for me was the terrace, every morning at 6am I would go out and admire the beautiful view. Blanco was a true gentleman, very courteous and helpful. The house was AWESOME!!! Thank you so much, The MERCADO family....Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

My family and I (a group of 10 people) went to PR for my Grandfather's 100th Birthday Celebration in July. We loved staying in this beautiful home. The house was comfortably accommodating, clean and very well equipped. The kids enjoyed the game boards and had plenty of yard space to run around. It was so nice to have everything you need to have a great time: toys, beach towels and chairs, and deck chairs for sunbathing, reading, etc. It was home away from home, with the additional benefit of the ocean's view. One thing we could not understand is how people can live in PR with limited air conditioning. The house has central air! This house was a blessing. Ayn, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. This was our first time renting a house, so we had many questions. Ayn answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. Ayn: thank you.Did you find this review helpful? Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We had this home built for us after spending a week in the Isabela area with our children in 2004. We love vacationing on the island. We live in the midwest where we don't have beaches and palm trees. It was easy to become 'Beach Bums'. We love our time here in our 'home away from home:'.
Why the Owner Chose Isabela:
The urbanization we chose to buy and build in was brand new. There were other homes under construction, but ours was the first one completed. We loved the proximity to shopping, dining, and area beaches and attractions.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We want you to enjoy your time spent in our home. We have learned from our experiences of renting vacation homes and tried to equip our home with everything that we and our guests would need to have a comfortable vacation. Each trip we are updating and upgrading our home to keep each guest's experience the best one possible!
