great 2 bedroom unit. 2 bathrooms excellent. living room kitchen had all we could hope for. tv needed to be rebooted but the phone number was there and company did it in about 20 minutes. This was very helpful. Couldn't get VCR to work but I bet that was me more than machine. Several movie available in unit would have watched but that was Ok. Parking was very easy. Food resturants were helpful. We really liked the italian recomendations. The dinner in the one was excellent and the pizza at joes was worth every penny. Walking on the path right outside the condo was excellent. The view was great and we would have liked it to be longer doing it twice worked out just fine. The golf course across the street was well kept and a pleasure to play. The weather was good for the most part and we did tour the nuclear site. Took a day trip to Biltmore estate which was rather expensive. If you go on wed. they give a $15 discount for seniors. Didn't use the gym but visited the place. Very close to unit but you have to drive there. Would have used it if weather was bad. If we returned to area we would use this condo again. Checking in and out was painless. The unit has a balcony that you can sit on and enjoy the view of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was good and the water pressure was fine. The water in the kitchen was different than at home so we used bottle that we bought at Bi Low. However the INGELS across the street had better prices and we went there more often. Thanks for everything.

this condo was very spacious, clean and well appointed. Good water views and also the walking path was right outside our door. We are building a house on Lake Keowee and will return again to rent during construction.

Owner response: We have been very fortunate to have some wonderful people rent our condo. By the time they arrive, I feel like I know them and appreciate the kind words. We love it and have tried to make it comfortable, like a home.
The property was just the way I expected it to be. The photos do it justice. It was clean and well maintained. The owner and their agent were very helpful and made our arrival and stay pleasant. Everyone we met in the area was friendly and easy to talk with. The club has a great menu, good prices, and excellant service. The Prime Rib night on Thursday was great. My wife and I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Our month long stay in this condo was great. The pictures and description in the listing did not show how nice the unit really is. The community amenities were a plus. We enjoyed the walking trail and the rec center a lot. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The owners went overboard in trying to help us with things we had questions with. They even bought a new CD player because the one in the unit was not work well. I would definitely recommend this unit to others any time of the year.

Owner response: Our guests were wonderful and we enjoyed meeting them in person. They found this area a good place to get away from the northern weather and snow.

I feel the property description and photos were an accurate portrayal of the unit. We had great communication during the booking process and follow-up from the owners. The unit was ready for visitors, clean and well stocked with every item needed and even items we didn't know we would need till arriving. The master closet is wonderful, very spacious and easy to arrange your own items. Towels and sheets were of nice quality-appreciated. We used the kitchen daily, two baths were great, laundry was nice. We loved the huge bay window and the coverings provided for it, very versitle to change the amount of light. The deck was our favorite spot each day, lake views. We enjoyed the walking path. The owners offered many tips for touring and dining. All were spot on-easy to find, yummy dining places. We loved the area-very relaxing and scenic.

Our Summer At Keowee KeyGuest comment entered by owner
Our Summer At Keowee Key
We have just spent three wonderful months at the lovely TS 236 condo @ Keowee Key. We could not have found a more quiet, peaceful, and beautiful setting to enjoy our vacation . The condo was clean and had everything anyone would need in order to enjoy themselves. We especially enjoyed the second floor end unit location overlooking the marina cove. The owners were very nice, understanding, and helpful in whatever assistance they could provide to make our stay pleasurable. We hope some day to return to this lovely place.

We had the pleasure of staying a week in the "Cats Meow" Tallship condo #236. The weather was lovely and Keowee Key was the perfect setting to enjoy the area. We spent time going to local wineries, bicycling and looking at realestate to buy with a great realtor.Coming back to this beautiful condo was very comforting at the end of the day. The condo was so clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We hope to come again!

Year Purchased: 2000
About the owner: Lynn & I knew of Keowee Key and Lake Keowee, but never visited until a long-time friend purchased a home and invited us for the weekend. After three days of perfect weather we were sold on this magnificent development, the mountain access location, and deep cobalt blue lake. After visiting several Tall Ship properties which were for sale, we left KK with hope that 'just the right' getaway unit would become available. After arriving home in Myrtle Beach, as we unpacked the phone rang and a golden opportunity presented itself. Based on our friends recommendation, we made an offer on Unit 236 sight unseen. Before the night was over, we owned it. Since the beginning of 2000, it continues to have been the right decision. As of 2012 we now live in Greenville, SC and are able to drive over to the condo to enjoy the things which drew us there in the past and in the future we look forward to using it more since it is so close.
Why the Owner Chose Salem:
Being at the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, there are many beautiful Western N.C. areas to visit , usually over 3000 ft. elevation, in less than an hours drive!. These include 700 Ft. high Whitewater Falls, Stumphouse Tunnel, Whiteside Mountain, Skyline Parkway and numerous other waterfalls. A paradise for hikers, and nature lovers. Closer to home are several berry farms where you can 'pick your own' and there is the Clemson University Walker Golf Course close by. For those who like to shop, Cashiers and Highlands are less than an hour away and offer unique boutiques. Tanger Outlets stores are located on I-85 in Commerce (about an hour and a half away).
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The front bay windows and patio face East so that the morning sun brightens the interior and patio seating from sunup until early afternoon. It is very close to the new Keowee Key pool complex and access to rental pontoon boats and the owner's kayak.
