Just back from a delightful January weekend at this villa at Wild Dunes and I am pleased to highly recommend it, based on the location, the comfort of the villa, and the professional way the owner handled all of the details related to our stay. The villa was spacious and updated, with many comforts of home not found in other rentals (plenty of towels, nice sheets and blankets, kitchen supplies, flashlights, books, magazines, area info, etc.). Especially since this was just a quick weekend trip, it certainly simplified packing to know that lots of little things were supplied. The beds were comfy, the three televisions were a big hit with my kids, and we thoroughly enjoyed the two bikes! Watching alligators, turtles, and birds from the two decks was very entertaining and it was great to park our car right in front of the villa. Even on a January afternoon, we enjoyed the beach and the community pool (lounging, not swimming!) and I loved that the villa was so centrally located to the many Wild Dunes amenities (tennis, beach, restaurants,etc...all an easy walk or bike ride away). The historic city of Charleston is just 20 minutes away...lots of sights to see there...also incredible restaurants in Charleston as well as in nearby Isle of Palms, Sullivans Island and Mount Pleasant. The owner was quick to respond to my inquiries before the trip and everything went smoothly during our stay. A great villa at a great price. Thanks!

This condo is just beautiful. It is nicely updated, extremely clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are separated, providing plenty of privacy. The kitchen is nicely equipped. There are small porches attached to each bedroom that look out over the lagoon. We saw an alligator the first morning! The condo is in close walking distance to the beach. However, we drove to the "Property Owner's Beachhouse" and parked most of the times that we went to the beach. This is a nice bonus. The resort is very nice and has a lot to offer. We spent most of our time in Charleston. It is absolutely amazing! Jean, the owner, was extremely helpful. I'd highly recommend staying in this condo!

We just came back from Jean's condo where we went to celebrate our 2-year wedding anniversary. Jean was so friendly and helpful and easy to work with when renting the condo. She gave some great suggestions on restaurants, one of which we ate at twice in one day, because the food was so good. (Long Island Cafe) The condo was fantastic. It was so peaceful sitting on the balcony and reading, while looking out over the lagoon. It was a short 5-minute walk to the beach and a short bike ride or walk to any of the other Wild Dunes activities. Jean also had many brochures available about activities in the area, as well as an entertainment coupon book available for use. The sheets were the silkiest, softest sheets we've ever slept on and the bed was absolutely huge and comfortable. The condo was clean, warm, inviting and beautifully decorated. Charleston wasn't too far away and we spent most of our time there exploring the town. But, we had so much fun during the one day we actually spent at the condo that we want to go back next year again and plan on spending the majority of our time at the condo instead of exploring Charleston. Thanks Jean for a wonderful anniversary trip.

We enjoyed staying at Jean's villa in April. It was very clean and comfortable and the perfect size for our family of four. The kids loved the pool and beach and it was a great location within Wild Dunes. We also enjoyed several trips into Charleston. Thanks Jean!!

The owner could not be more accomodating! She was so great to deal with when we booked last minute for our Wild Dunes vacation. Condo was very much like home and owner left so many great tips and advice on things to do around and in Wild Dunes, it felt like your best friend was letting you stay in their condo. Bikes were awesome to have, we were able to see so much having the bikes and saved us money! Great location- within walking distance to tennis, Grand Pavillion, great restaurant and beach. She also provide a Beach Club access pass that when you go to the beach you have access to bathrooms and it is a great place to barbecue with the family.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our family had a great week at the condo. It is very well equipped, great kitchen supplies, and very spacious and clean. Lots of books, games, DVD's etc. for family to enjoy. Walking distance to beach, Grand Pavillion areas, restaurant and The Village in the resort. This will be a nice surprise for guests as owner keeps it well maintained and in good condition. Only 30 mins. to downtown Charleston and 10 mins. away from Sullivans Island, Mt. Pleasant areas where we dined, shopped and played. Great pool in the complex but walking distance to the heated one for a fee. 2 bikes really were fun to have at no cost to us. Owner thinks of everything.

Just returned from condo. Wow, what a fun place to be in Wild Dunes. Golf courses great, enjoyed heated pool and taking bike rides on your bikes. Kids fished off the dock at the Lagoon. Enjoyed the porches off of bedrooms - so quiet and relaxing! Keeping movies and your great library of books is a great idea. Something there for everyone. Condo very clean and well equipped. Walk in shower was used by all. This is the best bargain in the resort.

Jean, thanks for providing us with a very nice condo for our much needed vacation. It was clean, well equipped and so,so comfy. We liked the large bedrooms, comfortable beds, and walk in shower. It was so convenient to all the amenities of Wild Dunes and only 30 mins. into Charleston. Your movies, games and books kept the family busy in the evenings after a day of sight seeing and beachwalking. Adult kids enjoyed use of the 2 bikes. This is a very nice condo at a very fair price. Lots of maps, etc. in condo made finding our way around the area very easy. We will come back.
