Nine of our family members spent two nights in this lovely cabin. Because a friend of mine came home from the Smokies covered with bedbug bites, I was a little skeptical of any cabins. NOT THIS ONE! It was cleaner than any hotel room I have been in and that I appreciated the most of anything. This was a PRISTINELY CLEAN cabin with A SENSATIONAL MOUNTAIN VIEW!!! The kitchen has all the serving and cooking equipment anyone could want. It is tucked away right above Dollywood in the beautiful mountains with wonderful valley vistas below. Our family loved it.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

There were 8 of us traveling as a family, and this cabin was absolutely the most perfect place for us to stay! The cabin itself is lovely, the rooms clean, the bathrooms all worked well, the view is spectacular, and the wildlife was amazing. Each evening, the sun set and night sounds came alive across the valley. I absolutely loved hearing the whip or wills' songs each night. I enjoyed mimicing them, and one rose to sing 185 times in a row! Just wow. This cabin is great for visiting Dolleywood, Pigeon Forge, Smokey Mountain National Park and is obviously good to see Gatlinburg as well. Given the "busyness" of the many tourist attractions we enjoyed, we found it wonderful to unwind with nature at night. We saved lots of money in cooking breakfast and dinner at the cabin most times. I read the other reviews, and regarding the racoons, they were lovely. Sure, picking up the trash in the morning may be a bit troublesome, but it isn't a big deal. Having the racoons come out while we were in the hot tub enjoying the evening was honestly something quite special. Our visit was surely enhanced by them. I will gladly stay at this cabin again. As a matter of fact, I look forward to it. Once paradise is found, why go elsewhere?Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed here from 8-3 to 8-12 The Good Beautiful views , Sounds of the train at Dollywood, Clean, close to everything, The Bad Raccoon's getting in the trash can! This can be solved with a wooden crate to cover the trash cans. Door on 3 floor bath room will not stay shut , hits the shower door. Would I stay here again? YES Cant wait to get back! Overall you will not be disappointed!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

GREAT VIEW, CABIN NEEDS "TLC"

Our family rented this cabin for a week. View in Great. Cabin needs some "TLC" Couch & love seat was dirty, not to mention that the rental company had to come and replace the love seat because it was broken. But they were there in 5 minutes after we called them. We had problems with the A/C unit shutting off but they came back and took care of that problem. The rental company was extremely nice and very quick to accomodate us with any problems we had. The cups and utensils had to be rewashed before we could use them. Kitchen needs more cook ware. The toilet downstairs did not want to flush. This cabin is a nice cabin but it needs to have some "TLC" and cleaning.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

My family and I have just returned from our stay in Pigeon Forge, We have had a blast! This cabin was perfect for our group, the location is close to everything and yet still private with a view, best of everything all in one. It is very clean and had everything that we needed in it, they provided laundry detergent, dish soaps, trash bags, all kinds of extras that made our stay more enjoyable, there were plenty of blankets, towels, cook ware and utensils, the lamps and porch lights were left on for our late arrival, it was great all we needed were our own things and food! We loved the cookies being there to welcome us, they went fast!!!, Thank you for allowing us the use of your cabin, we hope to be back in the fall. If you are coming to enjoy Dolly Wood this cabin is just right up the road, very convenient you can even hear the train whistle while sitting on the porch. Be Back Soon!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We have rented over 15 VRBO properties over the last 7 years. This one was a disappointment. The pots and pans were dirty and rusty. The water was sulfa smelling. The flatware was very cheap. There were no 'extras' like dvds, games, etc. The homemade cookies that were advertised were from Walmart. Renters beware!! I would not recommend this home, even though the view was beautiful and the home seemed clean. The owners did respond to our question about the lack of hot water in the showers quickly, so that was resolved. But there is no excuse for the filthy cookware. But the view was gorgeous. I would have been very upset if I had rented it for a week long vacation. This rental gives the VRBO site a bad name in my book.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/6

This cabin was just perfect for our two-night stay in the Smokies. I was skeptical when I saw how close it was to Dollywood's Splash Country, but once we arrived it felt like we were tucked away in the middle of nowhere! Fabulous space. Huge bedroom downstairs for the kids. Hot tub on the beautiful deck. We are planning on coming back. It was perfect for our three boys, aged 10 and under, and my parents.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Our family and some friends of ours rented this cabin during our kids spring break. We so enjoyed this cabin and everything it had to offer. We spent a day at Dolly Wood, it was nice that this cabin is so close and convenient to it and the parkway. Our wives enjoyed being close to all the shopping centers. You can even hear the train whistle from Dolly Wood's steam train while on the porch. The kids thought that was cool. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains and the privacy of this cabin. Great Find! We hope to be back in the fall. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with us.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.
