100% as promised. Beautiful top floor corner unit overlooking the Canoe resturant and the harbor. Fully functional and modern kitchen. Nicely furnished. Perfect location. Some VRBO listings "fluff up" how nice the place is, but not this one. I can't say enough about how happy we were in every regard!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful condo in Victoria. It is in a perfect location (within walking steps to the core downtown area) with a beautiful view of the harbour. The condo is very tastefully decorated and contains all the amenities you could possibly need for a stay in Victoria. The owner is very nice to deal with and is so responsive in providing information. I would certainly recommend this property. My husband and I look forward to staying here again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Condo was great, able to walk to almost everything. If you have never been to Victoria, Vancouver Island you must put on your bucket list. A car rental is not mandatory but lots to see outside of Victoria. Plenty of vinyards to visit and taste.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We were very pleased to find this unit just as advertised, nicely decorated, very clean, extremely comfortable, and a safe/ great location. We elected not to rent a car and were able to do everything we wanted on foot over the long weekend. The owner was very responsive when we had trouble connecting with the on-site manager to check us in and out. Highly recommend a trip to Butchart gardens and Ulla Restaurant. We would and will recommend this rental to others.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My husband and I spent 9 weeks this past winter in this awesome condo. Beautifully appointed, warm and inviting. It was our winter getaway vacation. Within 2 weeks of our arrival, I ended up needing emergency surgery. Despite the change to our vacation plans we could not have chosen a better home for my recovery, nor more caring owners. There is so much to watch in the inner Harbour from any room and within 100 yards of the building you can dine, shop for groceries and just shop! It was absolutely perfect and when we come back to Victoria, this condo is our number one choice. My wife and I spent 6 lovely days in the penthouse by the harbor. View is spectacular and very relaxing. Spent the first day watching the view, listing to music from our iPhone connected to the condo sound system and surfing the internet on the excellent wireless service provided. Location is great, can walk everywhere, hardly used the car except to go to Butchart gardens. Kitchen is beautiful, had breakfast and lunch in most days. Several great restuarants within walking distance. Highly recommed for a relaxing vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We were happy to see that the beautiful pictures in the listing were true. The place was immaculate and well described by Susan when we arrived. The view was perfect with all the windows facing the harbour, even the bedroom looked out on the harbour. The mornings were fun watching the small ferries and boating teams while drinking our morning coffee. Everything was within our idea of walking distance. We could easily walk to China town, the Empress Hotel, the Castle and the British Museum. We also could walk from the Clipper Ferry in maybe 20 minutes. We did love taking the ferry to Vancouver and renting a car and driving to Whistler. A beautiful ride from both the ferry and the car to Vancouver. We have never seen such a multicultural environment in our travels. We loved all the restaurants and recommend the Canoe Pub right across the street from the Mermaid Wharf. Actually, every restaurant was worth trying..............We had no bad experiences. If you are a big traveler it is a great place, if you are new to traveling it is an easy place to begin. Go to Seattle, take the ferry and go to Victoria and walk everywhere in town. Perfect.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We loved the easy access to everything downtown, underground, secure parking to get anywhere you want to go if you have rented a car or have your own car. The condo is completely outfitted for eating in casually or full meal prep if that's what you want. The roof top deck is exceptional. We also appreciated onsite management - who we didn't need to contact during our stay - but made our intro to the condo, the features, and facilities easy.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This condo was an excellent choice for us to use as a base for visiting Victoria as well as exploring along the coast of the island. The penthouse suite provided an ever changing view on the waterfront as tugs and rowers passed by frequently. Access to fine restaurants and shops was excellent, with most within an easy walking distance. Secure underground parking was also a plus. The apartment provided all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting.Recommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Exceptional location and ambiance in condo. It was convenient for all the walking and day touring of Victoria. The condo offered secure parking, wifi and great views with daily activity that was entertaining as well relaxing. About the owner: Shera and Chidakash are in love with people and with travelling. This work has culminated in the building of a unique home and seaside retreat called Serenity by the Sea Retreat, on Galiano Island, in the Gulf Islands near Victoria. Shera is an artist and maintains a large studio gallery at home. She also has remarkable skills as a therapist and healer which are enhanced by the extraordinary energies of Serenity by the Sea, its waterfront and gardens. Chidakash manages the retreat and has created a unique style of bodywork called Expansive Body Integration. Together they offer transformational journeys to Peru and annual trips to Thailand to care for elephants hands-on. We are delighted that our Victoria Properties at Mermaid Wharf as a retreat to support people wanting to make their own discoveries and explore their interests and creativity.
