"I just wanted to say thank you on behalf of James and I for letting us stay in your lovely flat over the weekend. We absolutely adored it, and had the most wonderful stay in Paris. It was great to have access to a kitchen, and we had fun visiting the bakery, butcher, vegetable shop, etc. to buy food to prepare.
We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay.
Thanks again for helping to make our trip to Paris so memorable. We would love to stay at your flat when we are next in the city."

As wise people said "Location, Location, Location." This little studio flat is on the great location in Paris. Its located just 3 walking blocks from Louvre and one block from Metro station. The closest Metro station is Tuileries. Do not expect any luxury, as this is very small but comfortable studio, with everything that a visitor needs. It can accommodate 3 to 4 adults, but who every has problem climbing up the narrow stairs should consider other options. This second floor flat does not have elevator, but very narrow and steep stairs. Our guess is that it was built for service personnel that served families in the main building. Flat has fast wireless internet, so everything with wireless capabilities can operate on decent level. Small kitchen can be very helpful for cooking and preparing breakfast. There are 2 grocery stores just around the corner and handful of restaurants on the Place Marche St Honore. Bistro across the flat serves lunch only and afternoon drinks. Owner David was very helpful answering any questions we had via email, and did not bother us during our stay. Overall, great place on even better location, and we are highly recommending it. Will come back again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

We stayed 12 nights in Paris at #31643. Location: Unbelievable location to walk to louvre, opera garnier, or other points of interest. Once you book and have address I recommend going to google maps and using the street 360 view to orient yourself to the neighborhood. Building access was keycode for two security doors, which is typical in our experience. Access to the apartment was via lockbox, perfect for traveling to not have to time meeting up with someone. Apartment: Is as pictured. If you are from the U.S. as we are it’s important to recognize that European living is condensed compared to what we are used to. We have been twice to Paris and the steep steps mentioned in another review is typical in our experience. They are narrow, but functional. Nice to have a washer/dryer to use for extended stays. There were no instructions so I looked up the make/model on the internet for access to installation/operation guide. I don’t speak/read French, so copied instructions to google translate. Cooking facility was minimal, but then we only needed to cook minimally. It is nice to have this option, compared to a hotel. Franprix and Monoprix are within close proximity for groceries. Apartment is off the street, so there is no traffic noise. We are early to bed, early to rise type people. Good luck if the neighbors decide to have a party, this happened twice in our twelve night stay (we were there over Christmas). Our college age daughter was with us so space was limited but functional. My wife and I slept on the couch which folds into a bed. I’m 6’2” tall, 220 pounds and slept well on the couch bed (although I like a firm mattress). I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Value for this location is unbelievable.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Great location very close to Louvre and other museums as well as public transport. There are also some great restaurants just behind with good food and prices. The apartment is very safe with secure gates and very quiet and cool good for sleeping! The wifi works well. Only downside is that apartment is alot older then appears in pics with kitchen and bathroom particularly 'well used'. Was also a little disappointed with lack of personal contact with owner eg: insisted on emailing upon arrival but never contacted us back or at all during stay, no local tips, advice or maps etc some stuff found in a cupboard, had to make bed ourselves, old sponge etc this is not a serviced apartment just something rented out when not in use (this isn't neccessarily bad just know what to expect)Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

What a find! Our family of 4 -- 2 adults, 1 teen, and 1 child -- was delighted by this small apartment nestled in the heart of the city. We couldn't get over how great the location was -- not only was there a metro stop minutes away by foot, but we were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower, to the Louvre, to Notre Dame, to the Opera, to Place Vendome, to the Madeleine, and to many other prime attractions. The apartment is cozy in size, and its furnishings more practical than luxurious (think IKEA), but the beds were comfy, and it was extremely quiet and clean. Having a washer/dryer in the apartment was a big plus for our week-long stay. Also loved having internet access. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the apartment complex--it gave us some small sense of being Parisian. This isn't a new building, which shows, but the apartment itself has been renovated and feels cheery and inviting. There were markets right around the corner, so we were able to eat a number of meals in the apartment, which saved a great deal of money and time. There's also a small square nearby with a number of restaurants to pick from. When we return to Paris, we'll definitely try to get this place again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This was the second time we stayed at this apt and I could noticed some improvements on painting, lining and floors. I would recomend extra kitchen supplies for families that really want to take advantage of the kitchen.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

So close to everything and yet so quiet... You would never think that you are in the heart of one of the busiest cities in the world... Ideally located close to Louvres Museum, Tuileries Gardens, Place Vendôme (which is magnificently decorated at Christmas time...), Opera and Galeries Lafayette. If you like walking, you can easily walk to the Champs Elysées (we did it a few times) if it is a nice day, or the Latin Quarter, Notre-Dame and the Georges Pompidou centre, not to mention Orsay's Museum etc... Plenty of cafés around (check the prices, some are more reasonably priced than others) and great brasseries on the Avenue de l'Opéra. The apartment is cosy and well heated (it was very cold in Paris while we were there!) Good for a family of two adults with two children or one teenager... We used it mostly as a base camp (sleep and breakfast) so no issues there. WiFi is a bit temperamental and I would suggest to only use one appliance at a time for speed to be decent. The staircase access is quite narrow (and steep) so get in shape if you have a few heavy suitcases to take up! There are plenty of cafés around which have free WiFi access. The standout place for us was 'Le Pain Quotidien' where we had a few meals (lunch, dinner and breakfast) and you can buy bread and pastries there too! the croissants are superb and it's only 2 minutes away... Please do yourself a favour and have at least one brekkie there, it's awsome. Overall, from booking to leaving, the experience was extremely pleasant. The owner is extremely helpful and always ready to answer your queries regarding the apartment while you are there. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely go back there. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Thank you on behalf of my husband Troy and myself! We had a lovely time in Paris and the accommodations were perfect. Coming from Canada on our honeymoon, we felt completely at home. All questions were answered expediently and the amenities were exactly as described. A charming location with plenty of great shops and restaurants in the area. Perfect for travelling via subway and visiting many famous landmarks. We would definitely book again in the future! Merci!! :DRecommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Apartment location is excellent once you get oriented. Maps of Paris are difficult to read. Not suitable for anyone with issues on stairs. Unfortunately we couldnt find directions in english for washing machine so clothes were steamed. Also couldnt turn on heater. Three larger adults is cramped. Owner very helpful.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
