2 Bedroom, Modern Oasis in Downtown Seattle

I was so impressed with this condo in the Belltown area of Seattle! I arrived early in the evening and found so many restaurants to choose from within a block! I enjoyed a meal at Momma’s Mexican Kitchen that was fantastic. The grocery store was around the corner, so I picked up a few breakfast items while I was out.

This condo is stylish, clean, and inviting. You get the feeling that each item was specifically picked for the space. I didn’t want to leave, but the beautiful city beckoned. Pikes Place Market and the first Starbucks were a 10 minute walk away. Piroshsky Bakery is right next to Starbucks and they had the best Russian pastries! I dare you to walk by without being drawn in!

The Space Needle was really close by as well as EMP. Take in the view of the Pudget Sound from Kerry Park, and make sure you go see the Ballard Locks. Watching boats go through is amazing. So much to do, I need to go back!

The condo was perfect for relaxing in the afternoons. There was plenty of seating and 2 TV’s. The Wi-Fi was a great feature to make reservations around town as well as look at maps. The kitchen had everything needed for meal preparation, though I found the food in the area irresistible. The couch was the perfect place to nap a bit.

This condo is close to Seattle Pacific University, Seattle University, Cornish College of the Arts, The Art Institute, Antioch University and University of Washington. If you’re heading out for a visit, you won’t regret staying here! Public transportation comes right to the front door, so a car isn’t really required to see the best of the area.

  The condo is centrally located within walking distance of both the Space Needle and downtown. While there are few «weird-looking people» - as in every big city - in the neighborhood none of was a problem during our stay. The condo by itself is great, it is just as beautiful as the pictures show us. It features brand-new furnitures. The kitchen is great to enjoy the fresh product bought in Seattle Pike Place Market (which, as I Previously said, is 10 minutes walking away from the condo). The bed are perfect to rest after walking for a day in Seattle. It features two television sets with more channel than you will have time to watch (too bad the picture quality is not HD). By the way, you will get a welcome basket with some goodies in it (such as popcorn), a very kind gesture of the owner toward us. The underground parking is also very convenient given the expansiveness of the public parking. And last but not least, the rooftop deck is great to have an appetizer or enjoy the view on Seattle’s skycrapers.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing.

  We stayed at the Oasis for a week in March and it was a great alternative to a hotel. We were able to walk nearly everywhere, with the Space Needle in the shadows and groceries very near by. The apartment was just as it appeared in the photos. The apartment is well equiped and very comfortable. We brought out 1 1/2 year old and the space was adequate for him to play and roam and quite safe. At night there are some homeless people hovering near the building but we never felt uncomfortable. There was very little street noise with the window's closed. It was great to have the washer and dryer and the kitchen to cook in. We would stay there again given the chance and would recommend the apartment to anyone. The owner's were very helpful and allowed us to have a company pre-deliver some baby items so the apartment was ready when we arrive! Great Stay!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

  Owner response: Thanks for staying with us! Our location is great, being walking distance to everything, however with that Seattle, like most large cities does have some homeless people. The truth is that Downtown Seattle is incredibly safe for the size of the city, and as long as our guests (or anyone) uses common sense, they wont ever have any problems and should feel safe. We do have Pack N Play available for rent for our guests for the duration of the stay, however work with a couple of suppliers that have a whole assortment of baby goods should you want or need anything else. And we can arrange to have them dropped off and set up in the unit ready for your arrival. Just let us know if that is something you are looking for.   My family and I stayed at this lovely condo in Seattle in the springtime. It is clean, well-stocked and tastefully decorated. Not to mention the great location within walking distance or easy car rise to lots of Seattle's best sites and activities. The owners have set it up to accommodate anyone. The bed linens were high quality and cozy, the kitchen is well-equipped and modern and the layout is organized, clean and modern. I would highly recommend. We'd love to return in the future!
