An absolutely beautiful home with wonderful views of the Savannah State preserve. If you are looking for an open floor plan and well appointed home with wonderful art and relaxing atmosphere, this is the place. Very well located to many fantastic restaurants, beaches, and shopping. Try the Ale House for casual and Prawnbroker for dinner and shopping or the Thursday night street fair on Jensen Beach. The owners are very responsive and available to any concerns or questions you may have. We would recommend this home to anyone from adults to families with children.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

3 generations of our family, 8 in all, just returned from a wonderful month in this immaculate home. We enjoyed preparing meals in the gourmet kitchen, playing chess in the great room, and swimming in the pool. Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, the patio overlooks a nature preserve where we spotted cranes and the occasional bald eagle. Inside, each room is decorated with fascinating works of art. Staying here was like living in a very comfortable museum. The house is also equipped with games and books for all ages. My teenage boys and my 11 year old son found plenty of nearby activities to keep them entertained: surfing lessons, sailing school, tossing a football on the beach. I took a scenic walk from the house to the beach every day. The owners, Clyde and Brigid, could not have been lovelier. They assisted immediately when the pool heater seemed not to be working. Clyde provided a list of educational and fun classes in the area that my homeschooled sons might enjoy. He even took a special trip over to a glass studio to ascertain whether they offered classes (yes!). Brigid, upon learning that some of us are vegetarian, delivered a brand-new blender for making smoothies. We would all love to return to this house at a later date. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, homeschooling families, families with teens, nature-lovers and art-lovers.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are semi-retired, yacht captain and chef. We are long-time Florida residents and previously owned a 3-Diamond Bed and Breakfast in Key West, FL for many years, 'The Travelers Palm', which was featured in Charles Kuralt's book, 'Charles Kuralt's AMERICA'. Charles was a frequent guest at our hotel. We enjoy collecting art from our travels and have decorated this home in an eclectic, but comfortable, style. Photography and filmmaking are also a big part of our life.
Why the Owner Chose Jensen Beach:
We met in the Palm Beach area but were looking for something a little more laid-back. Jensen Beach provided that same relaxed vibe we used to feel in Key West. Jensen is quite convenient to West Palm Beach--only 50 minutes from the airport--but still maintains the casual, old fashioned Florida flavor that we love. There are a lot of cute little shops and restaurants in town. Golfing, fishing and the beaches are so very conveniently located.

You will enjoy Indoor/Outdoor dining in an exquisite lakefront location, next to your private pool w/heated jacuzzi. Lots of square footage, plus the split plan with 4 Large Bedrooms, provides everyone plenty of space to relax. For those on a 'working holiday' the Private Office, with a printer and wireless internet service, will prove invaluable. The stunning views of Jurassic Florida never fail to thrill you! This is a wonderful home for family vacations and in which to welcome friends. The large Island Kitchen adjacent to the spacious Lanai provides a perfect place to entertain. It is a very quiet and serene location-absolutely stress free!! A bird watcher's paradise....
