Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day Weekend
We recently spent a long weekend at this home away from home in Heber. My husband and I headed out on Thursday and our daughter and her family with their two little boys headed up on Friday. The home is beautiful, very roomy, yet comfy. We dubbed the basement the man cave and my husband and son in law would head down to check out the football games. The home sits on a beautiful lot that affords a great deal of privacy, yet is close enough to enjoy a walk through the neighborhood. We opted to stay in and cook most of the time and the kitchen provided every necessity. I had specifically asked the owners about a crock pot and they assured me there was one and it was ready and waiting on the counter when we arrived. There is one grocery store in town that has most anything you might need. But there is also a larger Bashas if you head into Snowflake a short drive. Snowflake also has a nice golf course for the golf lovers such as my husband. We did make a pit stop at a little taco place for lunch one day and they were excellent. It is right on the main road just past the turnoff for the home. There is a firepit outside in the back and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows one evening. Our grandson wasn't quite sure about the tire swing at first but soon came to enjoy it and we spent a great deal of time around that swing. :) Heber is a beautiful area. The people are wonderful, just a really nice, relaxing place to visit. The owners were wonderful to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My daughter is a photographer and the surroundings offered some beautiful settings for pictures of our two little grandsons. Some priceless memories. Thank you.

Great Get Away!
Great Get Away!
Great place for a family get away. We loved our stay. Tucked back in the trees, it's perfect for quiet time away from the rat race of city life. There was enough room for our large family and everyone had their own space. The pellet stove was a favorite as it made the basement cozy. Everything was clean and just as described! The owners went out of their way to make our stay possible. Would love to go back.

Best Kept Secret!!
Best Kept Secret!!
My family and I enjoyed this retreat in Heber more than we would have imagined. The property was so clean and cozy and had more amenities than we had bargained for. You get the best of both worlds; the beauty of the forest with the modern touches of home. There is a great sitting area out side with a fire pit and two swings! The photos in the listing were very nice but when we arrived at the cabin it was way better than the pictures! The basement area was absolutly amazing and made great place for entertaining and relaxing with the pellet stove fireplace and the huge flat screen TV with satalite! There was plenty of space and lots of trees and land to explore. The lakes and creeks are not far down the road and make a beautiful scenic drive. The location is great with small shops and resturants and even a local grocery store. The town people are even friendly. The owners are great, very friendly, accomodating and helpful. To top it all off it actually snowed on Thanksgiving and we fell in love with this place even more. I slept like a baby in this home and I definately would recommend this to my friends, family and even a stranger because I enjoyed it so much and would want other people to experience what I did! Kudos to this vacation home! I will be back soon!!
