  We came to New Brunfels for our sons wedding and fell in love with this town. The location of the condo is perfect, it's near many attractions. We enjoyed the Wurstfest, Gristmill restaurant, and the River Walk in San Antonio. We also enjoyed our time spent at the condo. It is absolutely beautiful! We spent a lot of time in the pool and picking pecans on the complex grounds. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the water park and floating in the river.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

  We had a wonderful time in New Braunfels. The condo is beautiful and I see that they have new living furniture which will be even nicer for next time. The kids had a great time on the property - the pools are wonderful, the river was BEAUTIFUL in this spot and right down from a public park so we could walk down to get in and tube to our place and get out - a fun activity for the kids especially. Owner Ashley was a pleasure to work with.

  This was nice property and has much potential. The cleaning crew needs a lesson in how to throughly clean as we spent a hour wiping food off the walls, mold in the bathrooms, and just in general cleanng. Towels were mismatched and my car washing towels were in nicer condition. The furniture is much ready for the furniture graveyard and needs to be replaced. If these things were taken care of it would be an excellent place to stay. The deer were pretty to watch and we enjoyed the pool area. By the way the tv is ancient and not what I would call a large screen tv.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+.

  I just wanted to tell you that we had a wonderful time in New Braunfels and loved staying in your condo! It is so nice, great location, and it was just the right configuration for our family. I loved be able to look out the master window and see the beautiful green lawn going back to the river! The folks at River City were very nice and treated us well. We were disappointed Sweet Dreams (bakery) was closed for vacation the week we were there, but we enjoyed the breakfast tacos next door. The lady in the funky gift shop also directed us to the Donut Palace for some yummy local donuts. We loved Clear Springs. We went early and on a weekday so we didn't have the crowds to deal with. It was so cute and the food was great. Didn't have time for the Gristmill - next trip! Thanks again for letting us stay in your condo and for all the great recommendations. Sincerely, Linda

  First of all, this place has everything you need for a fun get-away. The river is right behind the property and a pool. Also, there's a huge lawn behind the condo for grilling, throwing the football or playing washers. The condo is big enough for plenty of people (we had 9 but could have fit more comfortably). This is a great place to stay if you want to float the river but don't want to sleep in a tent or just leave the house for a weekend. Another great thing about the condo is that there's a Chicken Express only 3 miles away.

  Very nice updated condo with a great location. Reasonably priced. Sleeps 11 comfortably. The sofa bed, futon and convertible chair are really not feasible to sleep in/on. Very uncomfortable, chair didn't open, and had no bedding. Sofa you are laying on springs. But there are 1 king, 2 queens and 5 twins that work great. Would stay again - perfect for 10-11 people, as long as young for top bunks. :)

  This was a great place. We loved the beautiful green grounds. The condo was clean, nice and the views from the balconies were relaxing. Unfortunately our stay was very short, but we will certainly be back again for a longer stay. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

  As regular customers, I must say that I am more impressed each time I stay on this beautiful property. So well taken care of, and the owners are such a delight to deal with. Your satisfaction is their number one priority, you cannot go wrong with the Hill Country Hideout. The grounds are still beautiful, even with the drought conditions in Texas, and the Comal was perfect. Thanks again Brandon and Ashley for making it a great stay!

  I have rented many houses and this was the most stressfree booking and owner I have ever dealt with. The condo exceeded my expectations with it's beautiful decor, amenities, and confrot feeling of the place. Close to all the towns hot spots! I recommend this place very highly to any group from family gatherings, girls/guys weekends or any age group! Two thumbs up from me and my guest!!!

  Just got back from two nights at the Hill Country Hideout, and it was more wonderful than ever expected, the property itself is amazing, and still has that new condo smell :) The pool and hot tub were wonderful and kid friendly, the property was quiet, and the balcony off the master was a nice touch. You must try the Gristmill restaurant and Grapevine wines in Gruene. Special thanks to the owner for making this such a wonderful trip for the family. We look forward to coming back again soon!
