Located at the end of a quiet deep-water canal with private boat slips, Don Pedro Island House is only a two-minute walk down a private beach access to gorgeous sunsets over the beautiful Gulf waters. Decorated to create a unique island atmosphere, this two-bedroom cottage offers a quiet romantic getaway or a unique and unforgettable family vacation. The front, screened porch is the perfect setting to start the day or to end it over a fresh seafood dinner just caught that day.
Your access to Don Pedro and Palm Islands is via the Island Car Ferry which runs continuously, 16 hours a day and seven days a week, or by private launch. The journey across is a pleasant ten-minute excursion where you leave the crowds and traffic behind. On the nearby mainland, there are full service marinas, boat rentals, grocery shopping, golf courses, and some delightful waterfront restaurants. On Palm Island which is connected to Don Pedro by an "Old Florida" style wooden bridge, you will find an excellent restaurant as well as canoe, kayak, golf cart and bicycle rentals. |
