Welcome to EKO Farm in the heart of Waimea town. We are a native Hawaiian owned and operated business. Our farm of five acres is diversified with a field of protea flowers, citrus and fruit orchard, koa tree forest and vegetable garden, all grown organically. Our flock of pasture raised hens provide us with fresh eggs. Our goal is to grow as much of our own food as we can sustainably and responsibly. Our flowers and extra produce are sold locally at the Waimea Homestead Farmers Market on Saturdays where you will find every type of produce to stock your pantry. We live in a separate home on the property and would be happy to help make you stay a memorable one.

We had a great stay in this lovely little cottage! All the privacy and modern conveniences you need in an open, clean, and pleasant space! My kids loved naming the chickens and picking loquats off of the trees! Micci was generous with her produce and anything else we needed. We loved our stay here. It is close to restaurants, beaches, and cools off nicely at night. We would stay here again in a heart beat. Thanks!
Owner response:We're happy to share what we know about gardening and homegrown fruits, vegetables and eggs. Just like our grandchildren, our guests children especially love the chickens and picking fresh fruit right from the plant to eat. Aloha Tommy and Micci EKOFARM HAWAII

From the moment we opened the door to our cottage it was obvious we made the right choice. Fresh flowers, fruits and homemade preserves added that extra touch and made us feel truly welcome. The property is impeccably clean and well cared for. We arrived in the middle of the night so it wasn't until the following morning when we truly saw the beauty of this property. Staying here you truly get the rural character of Hawaii, with the added benefit of having all the town's amenities close by. We appreciated having a well stocked grocery store that was close by and open late it made things very convenient. Tommy and Michaela were a pleasure to deal with from the very first e-mail. They were very willing to share their Native Hawaiian insight on the island. By chance on our only rainy afternoon we got the opportunity to share stories with the Aiona's, it is one of the more memorable parts of our trip. There is no shortage of things to do in the area, how much you want to pack into a day is up to you. We enjoyed spending time on the deck in the morning, bird watching and admiring the scenery around us. Geckos among the vines were always good for added entertainment. If you are interested the tour at Anna's Ranch provides great history and insight into the rural history of the area. Be early and come hungry to the local farmers market. It was a delightful experience watching tourists and locals interact, the community has a great feel of family.
