This newly renovated, light and bright villa nestled next to an end unit offers a comfortable and cozy interior with all new furniture, furnishings and bedding. The vaulted ceiling in living room presents an open floor plan with a pass through to the kitchen with bar seating. The floors are covered in a beautiful ash vinyl that give the warmth and appearanceof wood; the decorating style is an eclectic blend of Tommy Bahama and antique charm. The over sized garage keeps the car out of the sun and is right off the kitchen with accessible washer and dryer.
The unit features a huge (400 sq.ft’) screened lanai with a new simulated tile floors done in soft blue concrete overlay allowing easy maintenance for enjoying the Florida lifestyle. Sip your morning coffee at the café set overlooking a spacious green belt and oak tree. Filled with comfortable white wicker including a chaise lounge for napping, it is accessible from the living room or dining area through double glass sliders. The dining area sliders hide away to make the lanai an extension of the interior space.
This immaculate and beautiful unit rests on a quiet cull-de-sac and is situated on the North side of Wilkinson road east of Honore in a beautifully landscaped private upscale community. Tree lined sidewalks near the entrance invite early morning or evening strolls and walking trails in a new park just across the street can also be explored. In addition the park has a wonderful new playground which the grand kids would love.
The newly tiled kitchen with gorgeous granite counters and mosaic glass back splash, new sink and refrigerator and a new Tommy Bahama dining table and chairs add all the comforts of home. You will love the remodeled master bath area with the newly tiled step in shower with seat and convenient sit down vanity.
The villa offers over 1,500 square feet of living space including the lanai. There are huge double wide closets in the bedrooms, double sets of sheets and towels for each of the bedrooms, and the new pillow top queen mattresses and pillows are allergy protected.
Beach towels, cooler, and beach chairs are provided for your convenience to enjoy the beaches or you may enjoy the heated pool only a short distance away. bikes are provided for your biking pleasure. There is a new grill in the garage close to the kitchen.
This is not a 55 plus community but over half the homes are vacation homes and I do not know of any children that live here though it is child friendly.
This unit is central to everything the Sarasota area has to offer: Two miles to 1-75 with a direct route to Orlando(Disney World), Tampa and St.Petersburg or minutes to the white sands of Siesta Key Beaches. Enjoy day trips to St.Armand's Circle, with it's world class shopping, Long Boat Key, Cortez, Anna Maria Island and Venice and be sure to take a sunset stroll along the scenic beauty of Sarasota Bay as it laps the shores of downtown Sarasota.
You will love attending the Asolo RepetoryTheater located at the Ringling Estate which houses the world famous Ringling art Museum and hosts monthly jazz concerts on the bay. In addition you can attend the Van Wezel performing arts center, the Sarasota Opera and Ballet and don't forget the many affordable golf courses nearby.
A new 42 inch flat screen Sony TV is a great way to watch instant play movies from Netflix. An internet connection is provided plus a printer/copier/scanner for your convenience.
There are many choices of very good and affordable restaurants in the area. The Panara Bread Co. is a short distance away for a morning walk to enjoy coffee and pastry.
This is a non-smoking unit including the lanai and the association does not allow pets for seasonal renters.
For many who come to Sarasota for a weekend, week or season-long stay, the white sands and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico may be the primary draws. But Sarasota also treasures its reputation as Florida's Cultural Capital, with Theater, Visual Art, Opera, Ballet and Classical Music available for top-caliber entertainment after a day at the beach or on the water.
We have added the following Links to our long website list of other Art Destinations. We hope you enjoy the additions and will bookmark these sites for the most current and upcoming events.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. From the moment we drove up to your Crestwood Villa we felt blessed. Here for extended medical treatments. we found your place not only convenient to the clinic, but close to everything: the beautiful Sun Coast beaches, the most wonderful restaurants, and the arts and activities all over Sarasota and surrounding cities. Our visitors agreed with us that you have furnished and decorated beautifully and equipped the place with everything anyone would need. We especially appreciated the Wi Fi and computer printer. We also used your chairs and beach equipment several times. Amongst many others, memories of our stay will include Wednesday night lobster specials ate the Ale House, the beautiful sunsets and our neighborhood Sand Hill Crane family who came to visit us often. Many thanks, Carolyn and GeorgeRecommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities.

This was exactly what we were looking for! Everything was as promised and shown in the pictures. The house is in a very neat and quiet community, it is well equipped, clean and well maintained. Multiple shops for all our daily needs are very close by and the 2 pushbikes that are available were a real bonus for us! Sarasota downtown as well as the beautiful Siesta Key beach are both about a 15 min drive and you are on the I-75 within a 5 min. drive. The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful at all times and we are already looking forward to our next stay here (which we already booked for). We will certainly recommend this property.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: I purchased my villa in March of 2010 and returned for the month of June to renovate it. I first discovered Sarasota after I stopped working in 2006. A friend of mine suggested taking off for a week in May to visit the area as she was thinking of moving to Florida. Off I went and discovered a whole new world of beautiful beaches, incredible restaurants, and so much to enjoy that I knew I wanted to return in the winter months. I have now been renting during the winter months for the past 3 years and decided that this was the time for me to buy. I have a home in Connecticut, a cat, friends, gardens and love the change of seasons. There are many outdoor attractions and things to do here but once I stopped working I couldn’t think of a good reason to stay cooped up in my house all winter and the fact that it gets dark at 4:40 made me appreciate the extra hour and a half of light in Florida. My family lives close by and I love spending time with them and my grandchildren but I really look forward to going to Sarasota and getting together with the friends I have made, playing bridge and golf and attending plays, lectures and events that are going on at the time. There are so many choices of what to do. It's like summer camp for retirees! Because my time is flexible I decided to offer my villa for rent for the times I would not be there.
Why the Owner Chose Crestwood Villas:
Sarasota is like a summer camp adults for anyone lucky enough to be out of the cold. There are numerous lectures and classes available to suit any ones interests, a regional repatory theatre that is the highest quality anywhere in the US, World Class Opera, and so much more. If you play bridge this is the place to be.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
I love the feeling of privacy but enjoy the benefits of knowing neighbors are close by. I like being able to step out my door to go for a walk or just getting on my bike and going for a ride. There are no stairs or elevators to contend with.
