This property is an absolute one of a kind. This gorgeous house is located right on the waters edge on a private peninsula jetting out into the Ocean with unobstructed 320 degree views of the Ocean. You are surround by wildlife that comes in by air or water to rest and retreat with you. Dolphins, Manatee, Tarpon, Schools of fish visit the private Lagoon, Great Blue Heron, Tropical birds of all kinds visit the property as it serves as a resting place out in the ocean. Nowhere are you so close to everything yet so far away!
The John Pennenkamp coral reef is straight out from the house only 2 miles out. The location serves as a top sailing location for windsurfers, sailboats, and kite boarding. A nearby key attracts boaters to its sandy beach for picnics and parties. World class fishing and scuba diving just minutes from your private boat lagoon.
I just bought this house from the woman who dreamt it into existence. She was packing her things when she wrote me this letter.........
Of course the weather here seems to be the best ever. The air seems to be the richest ever. The wildlife seems the most abundant ever - tons of fish in the lagoon, 1/2 dozen osprey came by, great white herons are here...it is like they are coming to say goodbye to us and I'm sure to say hello to you. I promise you once you come to this house where the land meets the sea you will become a part of the 'front yard' and very much less part of the 'back yard'. Living right out on this protected peninsula is extreme. Manatee and dolphin will be right at your 'front door' on some days if your watching it happens like this.... you are doing dishes and you walk out to the porch to set out a wet towel and you'll hear a snort, like a whale, but it is not a whale it's a manatee or a dolphin and you will say 'Oh my God' ...its right there!! you run downstairs to be with them.............
Sail, Boating, wind surfing, kite boarding, scuba!
This house is located directly in front of John Penningkamp Underwater State Park. It is only two miles off shore to the largest coral reef in the USA. This is truly a water wonder place. You can Sail, fish, wind surf, kite board right from the front yard. There is a new marina in the back of the house for your boat.

We absolutely loved this house and will be back! It was the perfect setting for our family with young kids. The house is equipped with everything you can possibly imagine. We swam in the heated pool at least 3 times a day and loved watching the sunrise over the water. We enjoyed the kayak, snorkeling, Pennekamp State Park beaches, and the fully equipped kitchen Thank you for the great memories!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Fantastic property!! Our two families had a great time. The way the property is situated makes you feel like you are secluded on your own private island. The view is what pristine. Really enjoyed the ocean kayak, used it daily. Loved the security gates, felt very safe at night. Looking forward to staying here again, the owners were very easy to work with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

OMGosh, from the day we left Florida to this day, we have been talking about this beautiful house with an awesome view. Becky, you did a great job with the decoration, it truly felt like a resort. The house is clean and had everything we needed and more. The teen-agers loved that hang out room with the large flat tv and wi-fi. My 4 year old daughter loved the pool. The kitchen was well furnished, we had delightful meals. My husband and I felt very comfortable and safe. It didn't hurt that we had perfect weather too. Did I mention the VIEW...enough said. Thanks Becky for a memorable stay and we hope to return one day!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We stayed here in July-11 and just loved it. The views are AMAZING!!! In the morning you can hear the fish and some small dolphins in the water. My son snorkeled right off the front and my daughter spent most her time in the beautiful pool! Becky was quick to answer all my questions which I really appreciated. The house was clean and beautiful! Thank you Becky for letting us stay in your beautiful homeDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Stunning Key Largo vacation home with beautiful views. This home is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The marina was excellent for docking our boat...fresh water, fish cleaning station & electricity. The pool is gorgeous! Comfortable lounge chairs, nice stereo & a fun light feature for nighttime swimming. Nice covered area situated to take advantage of the breeze. The only downfall is that this is listed as a 3 bath 1 half bath...we were there a week and were only able to find 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bath, lol! Our son enjoyed using the peek a boo ocean kayak to check out the nearby islands which took him about 10 minutes to paddle to. Don't forget your cameras! The sunrises are breathtaking as well as the way the moonlight dances across the water.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

What a fabulous home! This was our 6th time renting in Key Largo and this was by far the most restful and entertaining property we have experienced. The house is beautifully decorated and elaborately equipped. It has access to the reef for fishing and diving and is centrally located to take advantage of everything Key largo has top offer. We caught mangrove snapper and had many delightful snorkel trips right off the front of the property. We brought our boat and kept it in the home's private marina. The owner purchased an ocean kayak for renters' use while we were there. We will definitely return!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers.

We spent a week here during the Spring of 2011 (late March). The house is beautiful, newly renovated and decorated in a somewhat funky, island style. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bedrooms/baths are lovely. The landscaping and pool are definitely highlights. We spent many hours in and around the lovely heated pool. The house sits at the end of a small peninsula, and we swam in the crystal-clear waters below the house. There is actually some good snorkeling right there--just walk down the boat ramp! We watched the sunrise from the master bedroom each morning. It was beautiful. There's plenty to do in Key Largo. Good eating, convenient shopping nearby. The kids went sailing, kayaking and diving. The caretaker was very helpful. A great family getaway!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
