  This was one of the most nicest families to rent from. They were so courteous and sincere. The cabin was close to the lake and my boys had a great time. It was within walking distance to the little grocery store and restaurants also. We had a great time.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

  We rented this cabin for a weekend and it exceeded our expectations. I have two boys (3 & 5) and one on the way. I wanted to be able to spend a relaxing weekend without too much effort, being 7 months pregnant. The cabin is walking distance to the lake and downtown area, making it perfect for our family. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and just enjoy nature. My boys kept spotting gophers popping up out of their holes and thought it was pretty awesome. There is a lake right up the street where you can fish and swim. We decided not to swim (we swim a good deal at home) but did a good amount of fishing. The locals are very friendly and helpful. Right on the other side of the lake is a general store and also a restaurant that has really yummy shakes and malts. As much as my husband and I enjoyed being out and about in the town,my kids favorite part was at the cabin. There is a rope swing behind the cabin my kids could not get enough of. Also, while we were there it rained for a couple hours one afternoon and we spent time in the cabin. The owners leave ready to bake cookies in the freezer, so we made cookies and coco and played the board games that are in the cabin. We also discovered a giant bin of Legos in front closet and went to town building a Lego city. My kids loved it:) Once the rain stopped, it was back outside to the rope swing. The cabin is very roomy, and sleep about nine people. What was also great is they have a washer and dryer, so I didn't have to haul home dirty laundry. All in all, too many good things to mention but an excellent spot for families or even just couples who would love to get away.

• Lovely little cabin

  This cabin was a great place to spend the weekend with my husband and toddler. It was cozy and felt very homey too. The owners also left a nice little basket with goodies, which was much appreciated! It sleeps a good number of people if you have friends or a large family. It's a short drive to Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. The locals at Green Valley Lake are very receptive and friendly. We also enjoyed taking a ride on the tree swing outside (after our son was sleeping, of course).

  Owner response: Great customer which brought up their own linens to cut down on the cleaning fee. Also considerate in notifying me of an issue with the shower fixture which I might have missed. So now I can fix it for he next custome. Thanks. Im glad for their quality family time.

  Great location. Very nice, cozy cabin. Kids were fighting for bunk hallway beds.
