  Have stayed in this condo for many years and has always been a great place to stay. Beautiful beach view and a pool where you can see the gulf as you are sunbathing.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

  Our family stayed here Easter week. We had an amazing time. The condo was clean and everything was provided for us. We could sit on our balcony in the morning, drinking coffee and watch the dolphins swimming in the gulf. Our kids loved going to the pier and could easily walk to the downtown. Fort Myers Beach is very family orientated. We loved our stay there and would love to come back again:)

  We didnt want to leave the beautiful beach view, Private pool, Lots of parking and close to the bars and restaurants. Even jet skiing in the early morning with the dolphins! Thank you! Deb and Family

  This place is a little piece of paradise, the little town of Fort Myers Beach is quite charming reminds you of a throwback in time. The condo is in a great location and couldn't ask for a more relaxing place to vacation.

  What a beautiful view of Sanibel and the Fort Myers Beach Pier from this part of Estero Island. This part of Fort Myers Beach is not congested with traffic like the south end of the Island and the beach is beautiful. How wonderful that the leni faces the West so that one may enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Picnic facilities and a nice park on the Gulf are in walking distance.

  We rented this unit thru Tri Power Vacation Rentals, not the owner. We have stayed at the Gateway Villas for 10 -12 years, this is the first time in this unit. We arrived on Sunday, 12-4-11, around 2 - 3 PM. If we had arrived on a day that the rental office was open, we would not have even spent the night there. The unit has light colored carpet in the living room, dinette & both bedrooms. All around the floor boards, about 2" wide is black dirt, in all of the carpeted rooms. None of the furniture in the bedrooms had been moved, in quite sometime, as there was dirt and debri under the bed and dressers. The walls were dirty, everything needed a real good cleaning. However, the carpet on the bottom shelves in the kitchen cupboards was disgusting! Who does that, how do you clean carpeted shelves?! Nothing was organized in the cupboards and we found pots that had actual rust on the INSIDES. The, used to be white leather sofa & chairs, were yellow and sticky to the touch. The owners had piled personal items in one corner of the lanai so you could use only part of it. The outdoor furniture was dirty and had seen better days. We called the rental agent on Monday morning and they moved us to another unit immediately. My personal opinion is that the owners did the cleaning themselves instead of using a cleaning service and they are getting by with as little maintenance as possible and pocketing the money! As to the Gateway Villas location, it is perfect, we have always loved staying there. Short walk to restaurants and you can have your coffee on the lanai and watch the dolphin play in the gulf. The sunsets are spectacular. I would recommend the Villas, JUST not this unit. Don't be fooled by the pictures, it does not look like that!

We have had the carpets professionally cleaned and the entire condo deep cleaned, including the furniture. We are doing some renovations to the kitchen and will address shelving and cookware. Our pictures will be updated by January 2012. We love our beachfront condo and enjoy sharing it with friends and guests. We welcome feedback and always guarantee satisfaction to our guests.   Two friends and I stayed in this condo for the week of July 24th, and we had a great time! The condo was nice, the screened porch was awesome, and the location was perfect. We have stayed in Fort Myers Beach before, but enjoyed the space the condo gave us, especially when my son and his girlfriend drove over from Miami for a visit! We would definitely rent this condo again. The only wish list item I would have is a washer/dryer in the condo, but we made do with the one on the first floor, and it worked out fine. Thanks for letting us use your condo!

  Thank you so much for the use of the condo. We especially appreciate your leaving the chindren's toys. The complex is well maintained and one of the nicest on the beach. We have been coming here sine the 1960's and have seen many.
