Sonidos del Rio is one of two designer houses within an enchanting property with lush tropical gardens, just 50 meters from south Jaco beach.
The beautiful pool is between both homes and enjoys the refreshing sound of a waterfall. If you would like to keep the pool area private for you, you may pay an extra 50% of the total rental for 3 nights or less and 40% for more than 3 nights above the quoted rental price. If the other house has not been rented yet, then it would be locked off and not rented. During Peak Season, we only rent both houses together.
The owners' love of art and design shows in this incredibly cute house. It's luxuriously appointed with Queen beds, high ceilings, wood, fabrics and other natural materials.
The Master bedroom opens up to a private terrace that overlooks the creek bordering the property. The other bedroom has a gorgeous canopy bed. Air conditioning and ceiling fans are present in all rooms. However, the house is naturally cool thanks to the surrounding tropical vegetation and its high ceilings.
A professional grade gas grill will delight outdoor food enthusiasts. Sit by the pool and read your favorite book in peace, or walk to the beach or head to the close-by downtown area (12 minute walk or 5 minute drive).
There is no washer and dryer on site but there is a laundry pick-up and delivery service available from a local laundry at reasonable rates.
Pricing quoted here is for only 5 guests. However, the house is in the same property as another 2 bedroom house -Sonidos del Mar-. Both houses can be rented together for a group of up to 10 needing 4 bedrooms, take 10% off the combined price during regular season.
Please note that the house is only rented to families, couples and groups of women.
Note: this property is not managed by BEACHHOME Costa Rica nor Rock Property Management, it is managed by the owner's caretaker directly. BEACHHOME Costa Rica will only act as agent and will inspect the house prior to arrival. All information here is accurate to the best of our knowledge.

Reviewer Comments: Lovely houses, but several small things could make the stay even better: 1. better pillows in second BR 2. towel bars/hooks in small BA (only 1 hook now-not enough!) 3. new toaster -we took the one from Sonidos del Mar to use 4. new coffee maker; very slow 5. paper towels in kitchen 6. kleenex in BAs 7. same supplies for both houses; no one was in Sonidos del Mar so we used the beach chairs. If house had been occupied, what about beach chairs for Sonidos del Rio? The houses are beautiful; enjoyed it immensely. Gabriel was very helpful and professional. Would recommend to others.
