Deluxe two bedroom/two bathroom Spectacular Ocean View condominium 350 yards from Shipwreck Beach at Keoneloa Bay. Our unit is 121 POIPU SANDS. Our complex Poipu Sands faces Keoneloa Bay and Makaweli Point at Shipwreck Beach. It is perpendicular touching Grand Hyatt property (with the renowned Anara Spa) at Sea Level. The Grand Hyatt has awesome nightly entertainment plus shops and restaurants to enjoy. You can see the Hyatt roofline from this condo.
You will be watching the Waves Break & Roll onto the Beach from Inside the condominium on Both Levels (second and third-Townhouse Style). You will Awaken and Fall Asleep to the Sounds of the Waves. In addition, from living room and lanais, you will enjoy the Mountain View just beyond Poipu Bay Golf Course, home of the Grand Slam( 1994-2006). Enjoy overlooking our Poipu Sands Large Heated Pool with a deep end and Lap Lane 100 yards ocean side of 121 Poipu Sands. It is a one minute walk to the pool and a 3 minute walk to the Ocean at Shipwreck Beach. It is a 5-6 minute walk into the Grand Hyatt lobby.
Our decorator furnished updated 1750 square foot Non-Smoking vacation home is perfect for two-four persons. The Master bedroom has Exposed Beams, King-Size Bed, Oversized tub/shower, and Private Lanai.The Guest room has two Twins or Convert to a King with Adjoining Bathroom and Full Laundry. We have High Speed Internet and 2 flat screened LCD TVs. All appliances are under 6 years old. Large comfortable furniture and New mattresses. A fifth person with permission.
Within five minutes enjoy 3 beaches, Snorkeling at Poipu Beach Park, Two great golf courses, Shoreline Hiking Six miles to deserted beaches, shopping, and fine dining, activities desks, and tennis. Soak up the Sun and the Quiet, Inspired Natural Beauty, Whales mid Nov-mid April, sea turtles, monk seals, dolphins, Enjoy Gorgeous Sunrises from the condo and sunsets , just ( a 3 minute walk to the southern tip of the island on a cliff). Be sure to spend time in our inspirational National Botanical Gardens or take a Helicopter or Boat ride to the Napali. We have a Private Tennis court at Poipu Sands and an 8 ct. tennis complex in Poipu Kai. Use our lovely greenbelt for walking between 2 beaches and outdoor family fun. Why the Owner Chose Poipu Sands
It is so very peaceful in Poipu Sands yet everything I enjoy doing is right here. I could do without a car many days, just walk anywhere I choose to go. The Heavenly Trade winds blowing through the condos, especially in Building One and Five are very special to me. A cool breeze on my skin is just so refreshing and the sounds of the Ocean are Awesome. I Fall Asleep and Awaken to the Sounds of the Ocean and rarely close my bedroom glass slider even at night. The temperature is 70's and 80's year round on Kauai. I love the many varieties of flowers, palm trees&flowering trees plus the Turtles, monk seals, dolphins and whales (late Nov-late April). Snorkeling in the ocean is like entering an aquarium. I swim laps at our exceptional pool and used to play a lot of tennis on our private court and at the tennis complex. Now I play golf at Poipu Bay, work there part time and part time at the Grand Hyatt golf concierge desk helping guests with their golf needs. I have become involved in local activities and I love the local people . They are genuine, positive and truly live Aloha .
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Guests at Poipu Sands enjoy a Large Heated Pool in the winter and a cool Refreshing Pool with deep end and lap lane in the summer. We all enjoy Grilling at the pool and there is a fish market 5 minutes away as well as 4 grocery stores. We have a lush colorful Greenbelt for family fun and an "open feeling" with panoramic views.. Our buildings are far apart and we have good sound proofing so I rarely hear anyone. I'm on the end. It is a quiet and private feeling here. We are very close to The Grand Hyatt, Poipu Bay Golf Course, hiking, horseback riding, atv touring, snorkeling, scuba, 10 top restaurants, lots of tennis, two fine golf courses, walking areas, limited biking , lovely shopping villages, and historic displays and wonderful old big banyon trees and monkey pod trees. Within 1/2 hour helicoptor rides, boat rides, water skiing, history tours, hand gliding, kayaking, tubing, an outdoor mall, zip lines, atv tours, and horseback riding and extraordinary National Botanical Gardens.

The host of the PGA Grand Slam for 13 years ending in 2006. Currently all greens replaced with pas palum Surpreme in 2010 and reopened in December of 2010. Eighteen holes of the most beautiful scenery imaginable with no houses, condos or roads in view, only nature at its best. Our signature hole No . 16 has been called the Peeble Beach of the Pacific. The ocean is visable from a majority of the holes.

I was a College Instructor and my husband Owned a Business. We first came to Kauai on a vacation in 85 and "fell in love" . After much research in the Poipu Beach Area we bought a condo in our favorite complex, Poipu SAnds with the most beautiful view of Keoneloa Bay, Shipwreck Beach, the Ocean beyond, Mahaweili point, Mount Hoopu, in addition to our gorgeous Pool and Greenbelt. The Grand Hyatt is perpendicular to our property. I see the roof line from my condo. I live here in Poipu SAnds most of the year and work at Poipu Bay Golf Course so can stay on top of the condo needs and requests of my guests. Come experience our Aloha.

My wife and I stayed in Jan's condo in September and we found it to be everything she said it was. The place was clean and and well equipped. Jan gave us great information and suggestions for food, entertainment and site-seeing. We really appreciated all the help she provided. The condo had a great view and was close to shopping and great restaurants. One of our favorite places at the complex was the pool. It was never crowded and always enjoyable. We plan on going back and hope to visit again next year with friends. We will certainly contact Jan again! Thanks Jan for showing us a great time! Curt & Linda

We honeymooned at this condo in Kauai and loved every minute! The views are beautiful and we loved walking to the ocean everyday. The condo is light and bright and had everything we could have dreamed of for an incredible vacation. We plan to come back again and again!!!!

This condo was the perfect accomodations for our recent vacation in Kauai. I have taken many vacations over the years (and this was my fourth trip to the Poipu area) and this was, by far, the most enjoyable place to stay. The condo area was quiet, it had some of the most spectacular views (friends described as postcard views), and it was close to beach, shopping, restaurants. I couldn't be happier with the location!! In addiiton, the condo itself was wonderful. Jan (the owner) stayed in close contact with me leading up to the trip and was always available if I needed anything. She even sent me a 'Visitor Guide' that she created prior to my trip with tips on activies and restaurants, which was invaluable. This all led up to a wonderful place to stay. My boyfriends parents stayed with us and they mentioned many times that it was one of the nicest places they had ever stayed, and I couldn't agreed more!! I can't imagine ever staying somewhere else in Kauai. Jan has thought of everything - we had laundry facilities, full kitchen, plenty of bath towels, beautiful furniture, pool, tennis courts, beach towels, even beach items (like umbrella, chairs, cooler, etc). The bed was amazingly comfortable and I slept sooooo good. She has thought of everything to make this a perfect stay and I can't say enough good things about her condo and my experience. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone I know and will always book this condo for further trips. Thanks again to Jan for making our vacation such an enjoyable, relaxing, happy experience!!! Mahalo!!!!!!!!

This was by far the BEST condo we have ever rented in Hawaii! From the minute we stepped through the door there was a feeling of being "home". The listing was so accurate in describing everything available to our family. It was so clean and well maintained and had everything we needed for a wonderful Hawaii vacation. The wonderful ocean breezes in the Master Bedroom were heavenly and the sound of the ocean was the best way to fall peacefully asleep each night. The views from many of the rooms were so beautiful especially the incredible sunrises each morning. The owner was so helpful in supplying a great list of best things to do on the island as well as her "favorites". There is so many fun things to do in Kauai and it's nice to be in Poipu with it's sunny days. We also enjoyed relaxing at the great pool in the afternoons after our busy days seeing the island. Our family can't wait to return to Kauai and to this GREAT condo!

My husband and I are returning in December for the fourth time to stay at this fantastic condo. We have tried most of the other condos in the Poipu area and this is by FAR the best. Four things are always memorable as we dream of Kauai from snowy Minnesota. ONE, location, location, location. The view of mountains and ocean is incredible from both lanais, living room and dining room. A very short walk from the condo is beach, turtle-viewing and gorgeous pool. TWO, condo is roomy and set up so that kids or another couple have plenty of room downstairs while you enjoy the lovely master suite and lanai on second floor. It is beautifully decorated and spotless. THIRD, owner provides SO many items for your use - beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys and other accessories. There is also free wi-fi and 2 flat screen TVs. FOURTH, owner is VERY responsive to your needs. She has a lot of extras for your use in bathrooms and kitchen, is available on her cell phone, and quick to meet your answer your questions. OVERALL, I cannot recommend this place enough; we will be staying there for many Decembers to come!

You have just got to stay in this fantastic condo. It is not only in a great position, with wonderful views out of the windows and the sound of the ocean in the background, but it is such a relaxing home to spend your vacation time in. There are so many extras in this condo, it is the best one we have had from the VRBO site. The furnishings are lovely and clean, the kitchen has so many extra appliances in it is great for preparing all your meals in. The dining table is a good size and the chairs are very comfortable with big thick cushions. It is wonderful to all sit at the table for breakfast and pull back the curtains to see the ocean and plan the day ahead. After a busy day on the beach, after using the beach toys and umbrella and beach mats all kindly supplied for use by the owner it is great to come back and feel at home in this condo. The lamps are so relaxing and there are two sofas and a chair with a footstool to use to chill out and enjoy the TV or a DVD. The photos are true and perhaps don't do this place justice. The master bedroom is so calming and romantic with it's own Lanai and again a huge window to be able to look out to the ocean and see the surfers in the sea on Shipwreck Beach. The swimming pool is in the beautiful well maintained grounds by the condo. There were hardly any people ever using it and it is quiet amd a nice family pool. All in all, this condo is in the right location and you most certainly won't be disappointed from the minute you walk through the door until it's time to leave. It made the difference from us having an OK vacation to a truly great wonderful time. You have to try it and see what you think. You won't regret it for one moment, we didn't. Also just to say that the owner is very helpful and sent us pages and pages of information about Kauai and the surrounding areas by her condo. Also it is very child-friendly and there is a lovely sea/ocean puzzle which my boys like to do so they could draw the fishes that they saw whilst out snorkelling that day. They also liked to sit up at the kitchen counter on the bar stools to watch me preparing their meals. Also being able to use the washer/dryer in the condo is a bonus for me so that I don't have to take home piles of washing to do and to be able to not have to pack big bulky beach towels but to use the condo ones supplied was great. We all had a fantastic time and would love to stay in this condo in the future.
