  The vacation was most sufficient for my family. Great room and kitchen were just the correct size for all of us. The beach on the sound as well as the Gulf was so great to look at. Would love to be able to come again.

  We rented the Banana Wind for 3 days in November 2010 for my oldest daughters wedding. They wanted to get married on the Gulf. Since we were coming from Indiana I was so very happy to find the kitchen very well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, etc. This was a very huge plus! The house was very clean when we arrived and all of the bed linens were crisp and very comfy. They even provided bath towels and wash cloths. The view was amazing and made for some gorgeous wedding photos. The photographer had a hay day. Every bed in the house was used and we had the Rehearsal dinner and the Wedding Reception at the house and it accomodated all very well. The house is plenty big enough for 2-3 families with children. All in all I have to say we were very pleased with the choice that we had made. The Banana Wind was hands down...perfect! I would definately recommend the Banana Wind to all of my family and friends. Very satisfied customer!

  We stayed in this wonderful home for fall break! It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful homes on Navarre Beach. Well maintained, clean and extremely comfortable. The house is very large and would be perfect for a large family get together or small wedding. The house has an incredible multi level deck with views of the bay and the gulf. Beautiful sunsets on the amazing covered deck. Fishing from the private dock. We caught hundreds of fish every night right off the dock! The kids loved it! This home even has its own private beach to enjoy. We soaked up the sun on the private beach while the kids played in the sand just steps away from the back deck. We took the short walk over to the Gulf beaches everyday. If you choose to drive over to the beach there is ample parking. The nights are so quiet and peaceful but Destin and Pensacola are only a short 15 minute drive away! We went to both places for dinner. This house offers so much for your money! It has a built in ice maker that was very convenient for filling up coolers. The bedrooms are all very large and comfortable. There was a pool table but with so much to do outside we didn't use it. The kitchen is completely equipped and a grill on the deck made it very convenient to cook meals for our family. There were 2 resturants just a couple of miles up the beach as well as a snack bar at the Navarre Pier. There is a grocery store right across the bridge to the mainland as well as a Waffle House, Burger King and a bait shop if you intend to fish off the dock they were very helpful. There are no hotels or motels on Navarre Beach which is part of the charm of this place. It is one of the most relaxing, laid back places I have ever been to. The locals are very friendly. We will definitely be back for a return visit to this amazing home! The kids are still talking about the fish they caught off the dock and the dolphins we saw each morning swimming by as we sat on the deck and had breakfast. Enjoy!

  This is it. If you want a place that is close to everything and still have the the privacy for lovers, this is it. It has some of the best sunsets I have ever seen. You can watch the Dauphins jump in front of your own boat dock while the sun sets behind them. The private beach is just a few steps from your door and breakfast on one of it's decks is a wonderful way to start your day while watching the birds walk the beach getting theirs. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and I am sure you will come back again and again like I will.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.
