just returned from a wonderful week in the sun at this home. Owner was very helpful and and accommodating. House had plenty of room to spread out. Was hear for a family reunion and couldn't have asked for a better place to hold it! Kids loved the closet full of beach toys and chairs. Was great to have the top floor so self sufficient. Perfect place for the to put all the kids! Spent most of the time on the beach which is down a short walk that made for perfect strolls on the sand during the night and day! House was very clean and very close to nearby attractions. Missed the Ferris wheel opening by a matter of days but managed to visit alligator farm, fort pickens and local shopping. Don't miss the seafood nachos at Flounders down the road!! Love to come back to this fantastic home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this house for a family reunion of adults. 12 adults and 2 children. Plenty of space and bathrooms for everyone . The home was as advertised. Clean, plenty of bedding and cooking utensils. Most of our time was at the beach, loved Peg Leg Petes, Crabs, and Flounders, Mcguires Pub is a must see. toured Fort Pickens and the Aviation Museum, watched 2 weddings on the beach at sunset!!. Neighbors were very nice . . Would love to come back again. The owner was exceptionaly accommodating .Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this house for a family vacation My husband, our kids and grandchildren 8 adutls and 3 children under 7 . The house was perfect lots of room for every body. We could see the water from both the front and the back decks of the house. It is just a short walk to the gulf side beach, although I will bring a wagon next time to help carry everything back and forth. The water was still a little cold but the kids didn't seem to mind the played all day and my husband fished from the beach day and night. You can walk to the resturants, stores and clubs. It only takes a few minutes to get into Pensacola. Go to the Fish market on Bay St for fresh seafood to cook on the grill and to shop for groceries much cheaper than on the island and don't eat at Crabs resturant highly over priced and the food is not very good. We really enjoyed ourselves and will rent this house again. The listing is accurate, there are plenty of pillows , blankets and the beds are great. The house was clean and cool when we arrived, but make sure to keep the outside doors closed or the A/C will freeze up. The ice maker was not working when we arrived but my son in law fixed that . It is also great to have 2 kitchens when cooking for large groups . Also make the 30 minute trip to Alligator alley in Summerdale, AL worth the drive and make sure you go and see the Blue Angels awesome show for pratice sessionRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
