Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property--reading, relaxing, listening to the surf and walking on the beach. You do not have to cross the street to get to the beach--it's right there! The owner is very responsive to concerns and needs.

This was our first October beach stay but we want to do this again. The weather was beautiful and the beach was wonderful and almost deserted. There is always some apprehension when you walk into a condo for the first time but we could not have been more pleased! The condo was perfect for the two of us (although a family could stay very comfortably). Walking through the hallway you instantly see the beach (beautiful view) and the beach theme was tastfully used thoughout the condo. Everything that we needed was available to us in the newly renovated kitchen area. The owner answered all of our questions prior to our visit. He probably undersold the property when he told us it was not a "new" facility because it was much nicer than we anticipated. Very comfortable and very clean. The dolphins greeted us the first morning with quite a show and returned on several other mornings. Would recommend visitors not miss the Shrimp Basket or Belle Lula pizza (not like Louisiana pizza!).LuLu's was fun but food was just OK. Best boiled shrimp was from a seafood market on Canal Street in Orange Beach.

Our family of four stayed at this location and had a great time. Randall your condo was wonderful and very homey. We felt very comfortable staying there. The layout of the condo was just as we thought, very clean, the grounds were very well kept, enjoyed the pool by the beach. Each day we went to the beach, had a couple of day trips, one day to Tanger Outlets and Pirate Cove Miniture Golf, another day we took the boys to Pensecola, to the Naval Aviation Museum. they loved it and really had a good time. Our boys made lots of sandcastles, and did plenty of swimming. Our favorite restaurants were DeSoto's and Sea N Suds in Gulf Shores. We would also recommend Mellow Mushroom Pizza near Tanger Outlets and Moe's BBQ right across the street from the condo. Bubba's Seafood wasOK, we really did not care for the Original Oyster House. The week went by too fast, it was pretty hot, somedays there wasn't even a gulf breeze, but we definately enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this condo to any of family and friends. If our plans take us this way in the future, we will definately contact you Randall. Thank you.

The Perfect Spot

Our family (children and grandchildren) spent a week at The Breakers this summer......it was the perfect spot for us! There was plenty of room in the condo, the property was well-maintained, the pool was refreshing, and it was so convenient for shopping. Since The Breakers is a smaller complex, we avoided a lot of the "crowd", yet we were still in the center of everything. There were plenty of parking spaces, never a wait for the elevator (although we took the stairs), and we had plenty of room on the beach. The owner was very helpful and always answered our calls. It was the best family vacation we had ever had, and we will be back next year!

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the stay in your Condo Last week. 5/7/11 The beach was beautiful*****saw the dolphins every morning while relaxing on the balcony (except the Friday b/f leaving* was a storm coming in and they didn’t show)**Watched people parasail and the sail boats right in front of us every day. We ate at Lu Lu’s, where they seated us on the deck and a dolphin swam right by us so close you could almost touch it. I didn’t get that in Destin!!! Loved the Relaxing atmosphere and walking on the beach. Weather was excellent every day until that Friday and even the storm, which only lasted a short time and sunshine came back, was great to watch over the ocean. Thanks so much :)

Started each morning on the balcony, drinking coffee, listening to the waves and watching the dolphins play, can't wait to go back!

My elderly parents wanted me to go with them to Gulf Shores (or Orange Beach), since that's where they took us when I was a kid way back in the 50s and 60s. It's a little different now. We went just before the 4th of July week, and yes there was oil on the beach, but it didn't spoil the view. The pool was great, and the condo was spacious, especially for just the 3 of us. The wi-fi worked great so I could get some work done in a very relaxing place. The sliding glass door to the balcony would stick, which trapped Momma out there while we were at the pool. She's got dementia pretty bad, but she didn't jump or anything. The storm shutter track trapped rain water on the balcony, but other than those little minor balcony things, it was a great stay. Hope to go back soon.
Owner response:The patio door was getting hard to open. The sand gets in those tracks and eats up the rollers. We just put in a new track and rollers. It opens and closes like a new door now.

The location is perfect, beachfront and right acrosst the street are 2 grocery stores, places to eat, ice cream shops, etc. There were only 4 of us, so we had plenty of room. The kitchen had just about everything we could ask for to cook with. I enjoyed that ! We spent a full week here and will come back again next year. I would like to spend perhaps a month this time. My only negative is with the cleaning company. If you rent this place, just don't look in all the kitchen cabinents looking for something. There is dirt in some of them that must have been there for years. We have rented from the same web site for many years and rented houses from CA to Italy. This was probably the dirtiest, but also had the best location. I'll go again, I just won't look closely at under the sink, cabinents, etc.
Owner response:When a guest makes us aware of a situation like this we take it very serious. We now have a new cleaning service and the kitchen has been totally remodeled. All new cabinets, granite counters, and appliances.

My family and I (there were 7 of us) stayed in this condo and thoroughly enjoyed our time there! It was clean and roomy and we were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was terrific. In fact, when we weren't on the beach or at the pool we were sitting in the wonderful rocking chairs taking in the sunsets and watching dolphins play in the water. The pool was clean, the beach was beautiful and any activity we were interested in was just a short drive away. We will definitely stay there again!
