Our family needed a getaway and this property hit the spot. The property was in a great location and very easy to find. Everything you need (restaurants, shopping, etc.) are all within a few miles. The heated garage was a nice touch. I had several email conversations with the owner and he was extremely responsive. The management company of the property was responsive as well. It would be nice if the downstairs TV was upgraded, but that is only a nice to have. The price was also very reasonable.

Beautiful, cozy visit
Beautiful, cozy visit
Our stay was wonderful - I only wish it lasted longer. The condo was clean, cozy, and had the basic toiletry amenities that were appreciated even though we did not need to use them. The living area especially was the best part. We made use of that fireplace, warming ourselves up after a day of skiing. The location was perfect. We're not ones to want to rush around in crowds, so we chose Silverthorne due to its close proximity to Copper. That meant we didn't have to drive all the way from Denver early in the morning to beat ski traffic, but it also meant that we didn't have to maneuver along crowded hallways with other skiiers staying at hotels or some Copper locations. Plus, we could easily drive to the nearly Dillon Dam Brewery or order pizza for delivery, depending on how outgoing we were feeling. Also, the owners were very easy to get in touch with, and responded quickly. I really appreciated the ease of communication.

Great Location, Nice Townhouse!
Great Location, Nice Townhouse!
We stayed at this townhouse while skiing in Colorado. It is in a great location and was a great place to stay. It is well decorated, clean, and has some really nice features: a garage with opener, a nice deck, a gas fireplace that lights by just flipping the switch on the side. The townhouse is in a quiet community along the Blue River and there are bike trails everywhere. It has nice furnishings, great appliances and is well-cared-for. Two nice-sized bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Great for four people! Silverthorne has a lot of outlet shopping and there are some nice restaurants as well. The Target has groceries and Safeway at Frisco is only about 4 miles away if you want a "real" grocery store. We ran up there several times during our stay here. Silverthrone, Dillon, and Frisco all kind of merge together, and between the three, there are plenty of good restaurants, with everything from Nepalese to Mexican to brew-pubs (check out both the Dam Brewpub at Dillon and the Backcountry Brewpub in Frisco for good beer and food.) We were in Colorado to ski and if you want to hit more than one resort, Silverthorne is THE place to stay! We were less than 15 minutes from Keystone, Copper, and A-Basin, and less than 30 from Breckenridge, and Vail.. It is also only a couple of minutes away from Lake Dillon, so summers must be great here. Back to skiing though: Because there is a garage, we were able to just leave our skis in the car and drive to each of the resorts. The parking lot at A-Basin is closer to the lift than most ski-in ski-out's. Breckenridge has a lot at the base of Peak 8 that is serve by a Gondola to the bases of both Peak t and Peak 8, and if you have 4 people in your car you get a carpool discount: it will only cost $5 to park. Vail has a covered lot at Lionshead that is just a short walk to the slopes (but is $25/day!). All-in-all, this townhouse provided us with a great base from which to hit the slopes! We will definitely plan on staying here again the next time we go to Colorado!

Excellent mountain getaway
Excellent mountain getaway
Great place to stay within approx. half hour's drive of all summit county's major ski resorts. It is very well maintained and tastefully furnished, with the kitchen fully stocked with all essential utensils. It was more than comfortable for the six of us, especially with 2.5 baths and a full sized washer/dryer. One car garage is very spacious and can easily accommodate a mini-van or a full sized SUV. There are major grocery stores, department stores and restaurants within a few miles of the property. The owner is very helpful and easily reachable. Would strongly recommend this townhouse.

About the owner: We love to enjoy the outdoors and skiing is the passion that brought us together. We met on the slopes in Copper Mountain in 1998.
Why the Owner Chose Blue River Run:
Our family purchased this home because we love the location and the beauty. It is a just a stroll across the parking lot to sit on the side of the Blue River. The cul-de-sac is wonderful for kids to run around and play or just to have some peace and quiet. In the winter time, there is access to all the ski resorts and ample area for snow storage and parking. Blue River Run does an amazing job with snow removal and storage. Easy access to hiking, biking, tons of natural light, and gorgeous views of sunsets over the Gore Range every day.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
When we stay at this property, we enjoy getting out and skiing, hiking, biking, sailing ... basically enjoying everything that Summit County has to offer. It is wonderful for our children to see the stars, mountains and wildlife.
