South Seas Club is a 55 acre community with lush tropical landscaping on the beautiful beach of Marco Island, Florida. South Seas Club Northwest features a large year around heated outdoor swimming pool, fully equipped exercise room, private gated entrance, keyed beach entrance, and new in 2012 are two Bocce Ball and one Shuffleboard court. Available within South Seas Club are 10 clay tennis courts, and boat docks on the bay, call South Seas Northwest for further information.
Our top floor condo unit is a spacious 1074 sq. ft. and is a wing end unit. The living room and master bedroom face the west and have access to the private wrap around ceramic tiled, 44 ft., 264 sq. ft. balcony. The balcony offers fabulous panoramic views of Marco Island's white sand beach, Tigertail Beach and lagoon, Marco Island city views and the Naples skyline in the distance.
The many varieties of boating and recreational activities both in and around the beach provide a constant source of entertainment. You can watch the fish jumping out of the water, various birds grazing the shoreline, and the pelicans diving for food. You can also join in the fun yourself and go scuba diving, fishing, para-sailing or hop on a wave runner. Kayaking the numerous waterways is another peaceful way to spend some time. Enjoying yourself on Marco can take many different forms. What to do? It is up to you!

This condo is exactly as described on the web site. The entire complex is lovely and incredibly clean and well-kept. The owner has provided many thoughtful amenities for those traveling from some distance. The kitchen has every appliance and tool needed for those who want to cook including basic spices. A welcome basket of grapefruit was in the kitchen when we arrived. Everything you need for the beach is also available. There are large TVs in the bedrooms and an even bigger one in the living room. The views are utterly fantastic from the wrap-around balcony, though in November, it was a bit too chilly and windy to stay outside for very long, but we got some great photos. The owner's own web site for the condo is great for figuring out where to eat and what to do if this is your first visit to the island (which is was for us). There were a couple of very minor maintenance issues on arrival, which were promptly taken care of by contacting the owner. Tigertail Beach is a short walk and great for families with small children and those who like to watch the birds in the early morning. The gulfside beach is huge and about a 10-20 minute walk depending on where you want to set up. The heated pool is terrific as well. This was the perfect choice for our Thanksgiving vacation.Owner response: Thank you so much for the detailed review. Your experiences and insight will surely help other travelers in the future. In December during a 16 day stay we did experience two days that were too chilly to use the balcony, however the remaining time, we were out there for breakfast, some lunches and the evening sunset watch. On the maintenance issues, unfortunately, housekeeping did take the laundry card with them when leaving the condo, but did return it the following morning. There was also an issue with the garbage disposal outlet. The outlet has since been replaced. We look forward to your return stay in the future.

Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. We had been to Florida several times before - always with the help of VRBO - but it was our first time in Marco Island and we enjoyed it very much. Your condo is beautiful - just as pictured. It is so well equipped, clean, homey and comfortable. We appreciated the many extras in the condo - such as the large variety of beach gear, books and even a bowl of fresh oranges and a package of German (!) coffee :-) The views from your penthouse condo were awesome! It was so thoughtful of you to provide some binoculars as well. I had just blamed my husband, because he had forgotten ours at home, when he discovered yours. We enjoyed the warm pool and also often went to the beach. My husband loved fishing, my son the fitness room. The weather was fantastic almost every day. For rainy day shopping we recommend the Outlet Mall in Ft Myers about an hour to drive. The island and your condo is a beautiful place to vacation and we hope to return again soon.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

About the owner: We have been coming to Marco Island for more than 12 years and it has always been our dream to own a place here. This year that dream became a reality when this fantastic unit became available. It was great to see the unit transform to what it is today. We take great pride in our place and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Other Marco Island Properties:
We love Marco. It is centrally located between the Everglades and Naples. Every time we come here we try something different. There is such a vast variety of things to do an see you will not run out of new adventures to take.
The location is great; South Seas Northwest Tower IV is located adjacent to Tigertail Beach Park making the view wide open as there is no tall buildings to the north to block the view. The wildlife area and lagoon offer many viewing opportunities for boats, birds, fish and people. Tigertail also offers beach rentals and a snack bar.
Coming out of the beach access in low tide you can head to the right and stay near the vegetation on the east side, you will need water walkers here, to walk or jog to the northern most point of the beach. There is also a cut across that people use. You can also head left at the beach access and walk or jog the length of the beach in either direction. South Seas Northwest, pool, grounds and buildings are very well kept. Shopping carts and luggage movers are available for moving and shopping day making heavy loads seamless.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
This unit is unique in that if offers beach, ocean, lagoon and city views from it's wrap around balcony on the top floor of tower 4. The balcony offers year around front seat sunset views. Dining in the evening with the blinds open and lights off provides fantastic city light views. This unit was updated in the summer of 2012 and offers many brand new features for your enjoyment.
