  This home had all the comforts of our own home plus the BEST views of the beautiful beach. It was pretty incredible how many places in the home you could see the beach from, including the master bedroom shower! The owners left a suggested guide to the local restaurants which were excellent and all in close proximity. We were there over Memorial Day week and the beach was still peaceful and quiet. Best vacation ever! We look forward to returning there again.

  We've spent many wonderful vacations in a condo on the beach but this was our first experience staying in a beach house right on the beach. We loved the house, the clever and interesting decor, the convenience, the privacy, the location...everything was just perfect! Unfortunately the weather was a bit cool during our stay, so we hope to return sometime in the future and have a chance to thoroughly enjoy some warm weather and sunshine in the outdoor areas that this awesome beach house has to offer.

  The house is very well appointed. It had all the conveniences for a stay away from home. The Gulf view is spectacular from the master bedroom balcony and the main living areas. Very clean. New kitchen. Everything we needed; groceries, restaurants, etc, within 5-10 minutes. Quiet area. If we are back in the area, we would definitely stay in this property again. The owner was delightful, responsive, and easy to work with.

  Every November, my husband and I rent a beach house with my brother and his wife. We usually do this in Longboat Key, but switched to Belleair Beach this year. And I'm so glad we did! The beach house (I will always think of it as The Shell House because of all the shells on display) was very comfortable and had plenty of room for the four of us. It was even OK when my adult son and his fiance visited for a few days. The master bedroom is extremely comfortable, and although it's smaller and the bathroom is acorss the hall, the second bedroom is very comfortable. My son said the third bedroom was fine as well. The two porches overlooking the Gulf are great for relaxing, and the TV's in each of the bedrooms allowed everyone to keep up on their TV shows. There were DVD's as well. We really enjoyed the area - breakfast at Maggie Mae's, on the back deck overlooking the bay, lunch at Keegan's or Columbia (which has a wonderful outdoor covered seating area), and dinner at Guppy's, Keegan's, or Villa Gallace which surprised me with an excellent Grouper Florentine. Parking can be a little challenging, as this grouping of six houses has one assigned spot per unit and others might park behind you, but it was not a big problem. Dealing with the owner was effortless and hopefully we can rent here again in the future.

  Property was as listed and actually surpassed my expectations. Property was very clean and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and having 3 bathrooms was very nice when you have multiple people in one place. The owners were very nice to work with and gave us our own privacy during our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for vacation rental. We had two local Floridians that are interested in staying for a vacation or recommending it when they other relatives come to visit the area. We went on the start of the off season and saved some money, and because of the recent storm, the shelling was excellent with many, many varieties. We saw an occasional sailboat or locals fishing, a manta ray, dolphins, pelicans and other birds and great sunsets. Everyone we talked to loves the beach. Great family beach and beautiful homes located in the area. Felt very safe staying in this area and very relaxing. Convenience to Clearwater, Indian Rocks, Redington Beach. Recommend that you eat at Crabby Bills if you like a nice enjoyable, laid back atmosphere with a few cocktails. I would definately stay at this place again in the future without hesitations and recommend to others. You do need the ability to go up and down stairs for this rental, but it wasn't an issue for us. Price was well worth the accommodations. It was a great vacation and really hated to leave in the end and wanted to stay longer. P.S. I agree with all the other recommendations. GREAT PLACE!!!!!!!

  Our second experience with this brightly cheerful 2 story cottage, spent 2 weeks and even though Hurricane Isaac blew up the Gulf past us, the rain came and went with some big waves that were enjoyed by the surf boarders and us. We cooked up a few gourmet meals and the kitchen was fully equipped for this. The master bedroom and bath are large comfortable and delightful - could have just holed up there. The other 2 bedrooms were also nice with TV's and a bathroom across the hall from each upstairs and downstairs. Beautiful sunsets could be observed from balconies upstairs and downstairs. The Columbia restaurant and Guppy's were great for dinner. Clearwater beach so close but the beach right out in front of you is even better never crowded. Judi called to check on us and always available if we needed anything. Great beach getaway.

  This house was fabulous and the owners were so easy to work with. If you want RIGHT on the beach, then this is your place. We could watch the kids swim from our porch. The beach did not get crowded like in Clearwater so you had plenty of room to enjoy family time, but Clearwater was only a couple miles away to enjoy the perks. The house was very well furnished and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the house came with plenty of bonus items for the beach and entertainment. The master bedroom was our little hideaway. My husband and I caught plenty of fish right off of our beach. Absolutely perfect house. Our two kids were thrilled and ready to go back! We will be renting here again!

  We loved this rental! The inside of this cottage was homey and super clean-- we loved how close we were to the water and the storage area underneath made the end of day "pack up" so much easier since we just stacked our beach things under the house before heading in for the night. Loved having coffee in the rockers on the top balcony each morning, we saw dolphins each day numerous times -- some amazingly close to where we were floating in the beautiful clear waters! The owners were super easy to work with and the location was fabulous--- we will be back!

  Our family had an amazing time at this beach house! Very clean and comfortable, and the owner was very prompt with communication regarding our stay. The master bedroom was gorgeous with the view from the upper deck, and the lower deck off the living area was a very popular place for our family to hang out in the morning to drink coffee and plan our day. The neighbors were all very nice and more than helpful in suggesting great places to eat or things to do. All the bedrooms had their own bathrooms which made it very convenient for showering etc. Very quiet neighborhood, yet the bustle of Clearwater was only 10 minutes away. St. John's was a very fun place with great shopping and boat/jetski rentals about 25 minutes south on Gulf Blvd. The beach was clean and not so overcrowded like the public beaches can get. But with that said, it's definately worth checking out the public beaches along with Pier 60 one night. Crabby Bill's Restaurant across the street had great food. The house itself was wonderfully decorated and fully furnished with everything you could possibly need for your stay: towels, dishes, many utensils, pots and pans, grill downstairs, games for indoors and outdoors - Bocce ball, sequence, cards etc, sand toys including little boogie boards, even small amenities like soap and lotion in case you forgot yours! The last day we were there the water was so calm and we could see the dolphins swimming about 500 ft from the shore. There is so much to do in this area for small children through older adults. This place was perfect and I would absolutely stay here again in the future! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

  With four children it's difficult to find a house on the beach to accommodate our large family. We found it with this house. I would recommend this vacation house to friends and family. It was perfect for us and the location is ideal. It is close enough to the tourist attractions of Clearwater Beach but private enough to be able to enjoy the beach and ocean without feeling like he beach is over crowded. I would recommend driving to downtown Clearwater if you are visiting in the Spring and catching a Phillies Spring Training game also. My son (7) and I did and it is well worth the 20 minute drive. We can't wait to return to this house. Our week was extremely relaxing.
